Armando Alejandro Estrada: "My name es...... Armando..... Ale........
JUST THEN, SOMEONE SPIKES THE BALL AND IT SMACKS ESTRADA IN THE HEAD, KNOCKING HIM TO THE BEACH.

THE SONG COMES TO AN END BUT THE WORDS "REMEMBER THE NAME" ECHO FOR A FEW SECONDS BEFORE THE AUDIO VOICEOVER COMES ON.
Voiceover: "And now, TWF Entertainment presents, a joint production of Rampage and PrimeTime...........
TWF MELTDOWN!
THE COLISEO DE PUERTO RICO COMES INTO THE SHOT AND IT IS RUMBLING, FULL OF TWF FANS.
Michael Cole: "We are in what some people call the fifty first United State.... Puerto Rico at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, site of the 2006 edition of MeltDown"!
Jesse Ventura: "Well if anyone was wondering how the TWF would fare holding their second biggest pay-per-view somewhere other than the U.S., the noise in this place answers all those questions"!
Cole: "Well this is of course a split brand pay-per-view along with TWF Rampage so let's set it up to our broadcast colleagues, the voices of Rampage, Jim Ross and the King"!
Jim Ross: "Thank you Michael and King, what a privilage it is to be here in Puerto Rico tonight, ten big matches but none bigger for our side of things than the TWF World title match which will be three stages of hell"!
Jerry Lawler: "Well we know what the first two stages will be but the third remains up in the air..... I can't wait"!
THE CROWD RISES IN CHEER AS "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE PLAYS, BRINGING MATT CRUZ OUT.
J.R.: "And what a way to start the night off, with one of four title matches on tonight's card and this will be Matt Cruz' chance to win his first singles title in the TWF".
Lawler: "This was a match that the champion insisted on, something you don't see very often"!
"BOOYAKA 619" HITS AND REY MYSTERIO POPS UP FROM UNDER THE RAMP TO A DEAFEANING CHEER, EASILY ONE OF THE LOUDEST ALL NIGHT.
J.R.: "Well that's the type of man Rey Mysterio is, always one to step in the ring with anyone and that's probably a good part of the reason he seems to be so over with the Puerto Rican fans".
Lawler: "Well remember what Cruz' take was on it... he seemed pretty sure he can win this match".
J.R.: "Mysterio was able to defeat Cruz in a number one contender's match and he then went on to win the title. Now is Cruz' chance to return the favor".
TWF King of Cable Title Match Challenger: Matt "Madik" Cruz vs. Rey Mysterio The bell sounded and the two men locked up. Cruz went away from what he usually does, powering Rey into the corner and then kicking him twice in the gut. Cruz then shot Rey to the corner and charged in but Rey lifted himself halfway up the turnbuckle and countered with a nice sunset flip to nearly steal the match. Rey got up and hit Cruz with a low dropkick before pulling him up, kicking him in the legs. Rey hit the ropes and went for his wheelbarrow bulldog but Cruz countered and tossed him across the ring. Rey landed hard right on his posterior and Cruz moved in with a release german suplex that dropped Rey right on the back of his head and neck. Cruz made the cover and it looked like it was already over but Rey got his shoulder off the mat at 2. Cruz stayed on him, now employing his amatuer style, keeping Rey on the mat with holds that tied up both his arms and legs. Cruz had on a bodyscissor and then pulled Rey's head back into a dragon sleeper. The champion was in a lot of trouble but showed the never say die attitude that has put him where he is and he was able to escape the hold by slipping his head under Cruz' arm. Still in the bodyscissor, Rey used both hands to grab the middle ring rope to gain a break. Cruz broke the hold and then pounded Rey across the back twice before hitting the ropes. But Rey used a drop toehold, putting Cruz over the middle turnbuckle. After the 6-1-9, Rey went to the apron and called for the "West Coast Pop". He flew off and hit it as referee Scott Martin got down to make the 1......2........., but Cruz kicked out! Rey couldn't believe it, but he tried to stay on the attack. After a low dropkick to the right kneecap, Rey went to the top rope and flew off with a corkscrew attack. But Cruz moved out of the way and Rey hit the mat hard. After a belly to belly suplex, Cruz went for an irish whip but Rey reversed it, only to have Cruz explode off with a left armed clothesline. Cruz loaded Rey onto his shoulders, looking for a running powerslam but Rey was able to slide off and dropkick him in the back, knocking him right in between the top and middle ring ropes. Rey then hit the 6-1-9 again and went for the West Coast Pop. But this time, Cruz caught him on his shoulders and dropped him down right into the Colorado Cloverleaf. Rey was in a world of trouble, right in the center of the ring. But just when it looked like he would tap out, a chant of "Rey" started, breathing new life into the champion. Showing incredible will, Rey worked his way across the mat and grabbed the bottom rope, again earning a break. Cruz couldn't believe it and he looked even more upset with the fans for getting behind Mysterio. Cruz picked him up, looking for a powerbomb but Rey countered in a hurracanrana motion, throwing Cruz across the ring and again, he landed in position for the 6-1-9 as Rey hit it for a third time. But this time, he came off with his flying legdrop, also known as Dropping the Dime and he rolled Cruz over to get the 1.......2.......3. Match Time: 10:43 THE FANS WENT WILD AS "BOOYAKA 619" HIT AGAIN AND REY HAD HIS HAND RAISED BY MARTIN. J.R.: "He got him! Through sheer determination, Rey Mysterio is still the King of Cable"! Lawler: "Wow, what a match but I can't help but think that these fans pushed Mysterio over the top in that one"! J.R.: "Well Matt Cruz has the King of Cable title, what is this"? CRUZ WENT AND GOT THE BELT AND BROUGHT IT INTO THE RING. BUT JUST WHEN IT LOOKED LIKE HE WAS GOING TO PRESENT MYSTERIO WITH IT, HE BASHED HIM OVER THE HEAD WITH IT. THE CROWD IMMEDIATELY WENT INTO BOOS AS CRUZ PICKED REY UP AND DELIVERED A NASTY FISHERMAN BUSTER. Lawler: "Oh my gosh..... I didn't see that coming"! J.R.: "I don't think anyone did.... what the hell has gotten into Matt Cruz"?! CRUZ LOOKED AROUND AT THE CROWD BEFORE TAKING ONE LAST GLANCE AT THE FALLEN MYSTERIO BEFORE LEAVING THE RING TO PLENTY OF BOOS. J.R.: "I'm sorry King, but I have a very sick feeling in my stomach! I can't believe this kid has gone and done this"! BACKSTAGE AREA........ MARIA IS SHOWN IN THE BACK WITH JOHNNY HAZARD, WHO HAS HIS HAREM WITH HIM. Maria: "Johnny, tonight you will compete in the first ever Hazardous to your Health match. Can you explain to us what that might be"? Johnny Hazard: "Well normally Maria, no, I wouldn't explain it. But since someone as pretty as you is asking, I will. MARIA GETS A BIG SMILE ON HER FACE AND STARTS BLUSHING. Hazardous to your Health.... the rules are real simple, they're are none! But the only way that this match ends is if the ringside doctor takes a look at you and declares that you are jeopardizing your health, your career or possibly even your life! So Randy Orton, you still think I don't know what I'm in for? Let's go girls". HAZARD LEADS THE HAREM AWAY AS THE CAMERA GETS A SHOT OF MARIA WHO HAS A STUNNED LOOK ON HER FACE. Cole: "The Hazardous to your Health match will take place shortly but first partner, we are gonna see a smashmouth wrestling match between two of the top superstars PrimeTime has to offer"! BOOS FILL THE ARENA AS "METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE HITS AND EDGE COMES OUT OF A CLOUD OF SMOKE. Ventura: "This is one I have definitely been looking forward to Michael, simply because I can't wait to see Edge prove his point tonight"! Cole: "And what would that point be? That this is the TWF and not the GSE? That seems to be the main focus of all of Edge's arguments! "BEFORE I FORGET" BY SLIPKNOT COMES ON AND TAZ COMES OUT, SLOWLY WALKING TO THE RING WITH A VERY FIERCE LOOK IN HIS EYES. The fact is he's undefeated since coming to the TWF and.... Ventura: "And it's all gonna change tonight because he's in there with a former two time TWF Universal champion and a bonafide top tier TWF superstar"! Taz vs. Edge The bell sounded and the two men met nose to nose in the center of the ring. They seemed to exchange some words before Edge just slapped the taste out of Taz's mouth. He sooned learned that it was a mistake as Taz responded with 2 very stiff right hands before catching him with a capture suplex. Edge was in some trouble early as he backed himself into the corner. Referee Charles Robinson forced Taz to back off and Edge got in a cheap shot, a kick to the abdomen. Edge then rifled two right hands into the head of the man from the streets of New York before hitting the ropes, looking for a spear. But Taz kicked him right in the face as he dove at him. He then picked him up for a nice belly to belly suplex. He made the cover and got a 1......2......, but Edge shot his right shoulder off the mat. Taz picked him up and whipped him to the ropes but Edge turned it into the spear. Taz was alert enough to roll out of the ring, but he was in plenty of pain. Just then, Edge took to the air, flying over the top rope with a plancha right onto Taz. From there, Edge picked him up and threw him head and shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Taz hit hard and was in a lot of trouble as Edge picked him up and this time, rammed him face first into the top of the steps before rolling him into the ring. Edge used the ring steps to climb to the apron before turning to the crowd and yelling "What about your street thug now"?! Edge went to the top rope and came off with a missile dropkick but Taz had enough in him to swat the move away. After back to back clotheslines, Taz was ready to take over with his package of suplexes. He grabbed Edge from behind in a standing waistlock but Edge was able to grab the top rope. Robinson came around, trying to get Edge to release it and Edge got in an undetected mule kick on Taz. He then grabbed Taz in a front facelock before looking into the crowd with a smile, about to hit the "Edge-a-cution". But Taz grabbed Edge's right arm and swung out of the move, pulling Edge to the mat with the "Tazmission". There was nowhere for Edge to go and he was fading fast. Robinson grabbed one of Edge's arms and after it drop lifelessly just one time, he asked for the bell. Match Time: 7:37 Cole: "Well there ya have it Jesse, Taz has won another one! You ready to give the man his due yet"?! Ventura: "For what... choking a man out?! That's illegal"! "BEFORE I FORGET" PLAYED AS TAZ CELEBRATED THE WIN AND EDGE ROLLED OUT OF THE RING, ACTING AS IF HE WAS GASPING FOR EVERY BREATH. Cole: "No matter how you slice it, Taz is still undefeated in the TWF"! Ventura: "Look at Edge.... he can't breathe! This is a travesty"! BACKSTAGE...... TODD GRISHAM IS SEEN BACKSTAGE STANDING BY WITH THE HARDY BOYZ.
Todd Grisham: "Tonight is your first shot at the Rampage Tag Team championship since reuniting. What is your mindset going into your match tonight"?
Jeff Hardy: "Tonight is an honor and privilage to me. We will do anything to take home that gold once again.
JEFF HARDY STOPS WHEN THE BLOOD BROTHERS WALK INTO THE PICTURE, GETTING IN THE FACES OF THE HARDY BOYZ AND CARRYING THEIR TITLES.
Dustin Kash: "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Todd Grisham you wanna waste your interview time on crackhead and hasbeen over here"?
Matt Hardy: "Excuse me"?
Sean O’Haire: "What you’re looking at is the new generation of tag team wrestling. What you guys are, are a couple of washed up, no talent.......
Jeff Hardy: "You better shut your mouth"!
Sean O’Haire: "Whoa, look at that sudden mood swing, I think something’s fishy, how 'bout you Kash"?
Dustin Kash: "Don’t do drugs kids, all you’ll get from it is some half-assed face paint and a bad haircut… take Jeff here for example. Now get out of here you mutts, it’s time for you to pass the torch to guys like the Blood Brothers, guys like the Bashams".
Matt Hardy: "At some point you guys are gonna get what you’ve got coming to you".
Dustin Kash: "You want a shot? Just sign on the dotted line".
Jeff Hardy: "You know what Matt, we have a match to get ready for, we don't have time to waste with these two. Let's go........ MATT AND JEFF WALK AWAY AS THE BLOOD BROTHERS JUST LOOK ON. THE HARDY BOYZ MUSIC KICKS UP AND THEY COME OUT TO A ROUSING CHEER, READY FOR ACTION. J.R.: "The Rampage tag team titles are about to be put on the line folks but I know I'm not alone in still being shocked over the actions of Matt Cruz". Lawler: "Well I'm told that Todd Grisham tried to get a word with him in the back but all he got was a door slammed in his face, ya know, typical stuff for Todd"! THE BASHAMS MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS WITH THE TAG TEAM TITLES AROUND THEIR WAISTS. J.R.: "Well all I know is sooner or later, Cruz is gonna have some tough questions to answer but right now, we've got two very solid tag teams from the Rampage division ready to battle for the gold". Lawler: "It's a matchup of brother teams too J.R., when was the last time that happened"?! J.R.: "Well I'm fairly certain Doug and Danny aren't real brothers but they have teamed together for quite some time and they have been a very tough team since winning those belts in a tournament". Lawler: "Well if you ask me, since the Hardy Boyz have just reunited and all, I'd say there might be more cohesiveness between The Bashams right now then there is for Matt and Jeff"! Rampage Tag Team Title Match Challengers: The Hardy Boyz vs. The Bashams Jeff started the match off with Danny and the bell sounded. From the outset, Danny was determined to take away Jeff's quickness. And after getting his hands on him and delivering a big headbutt, it appeared he had. Danny hit a swinging neckbreaker moments later and tagged in Doug who hit the ropes and jumped up with a big legdrop acorss the throat of Jeff. But Doug went to the well one too many times, looking to repeat the move and Jeff moved out of the way. After a couple hard rights, Jeff made the tag to Matt before whipping Doug to the ropes. Jeff then got down and used a monkey flip right into a dropkick from Matt. Doug was in trouble as Matt grabbed him for a jumping bulldog. He made the cover but Danny came in and pulled him off. Matt went over to the corner, getting in Danny's face but Doug came from behind with a hard forearm. He and Danny then pulled the switch and Danny pulled Matt off the canvas but referee Jose Mendez noticed and called Doug back into the ring. Doug came in, arguing with Mendez and Matt came over and caught him with the Side Effect. Jeff tagged back in and Matt got down on his hands and knees after whipping Doug to the corner. That allowed Jeff to hit the Poetry in Motion and everything was going the Hardy Boyz' way. Mendez forced Matt back to his corner and in that time, Danny removed the turnbuckle pad behind Doug's head. Jeff ran in again but Doug caught him and dropped him on the exposed bolt with a reverse snake eyes. Matt saw what happened and he went around the ring on the floor to the champions corner. Danny dropped down to the floor and he and Matt began trading right hands. Mendez was doing his best to get a hold of it when from the crowd came the Blood Brothers from PrimeTime. Dustin Kash picked Jeff up and held him for Sean O'Haire who bounced off the ropes with a clothesline as Kash pulled him down with a side russian legsweep. The Blood Brothers got out of the ring and went back through the crowd just as fast as they had come in. Boos flowed through the Coliseo de Puerto Rico but Doug just draped an arm over the chest of Jeff Hardy and Mendez issued the 3 count. Match Time: 5:56 J.R.: "I'll be damned! The Hardy Boyz have just been screwed but two guys they don't even know"! Lawler: "They know 'em, remember there confrontation in the back earlier"? THE BASHAMS MUSIC HIT AND MENDEZ HANDED THEM THE BELTS AS THEY LEFT THE RING WITH THEIR ARMS RAISED, BUT THEY DIDN'T LOOK LIKE WINNERS. IN THE RING, MATT CHECKED ON HIS BROTHER WHO DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HIT HIM. J.R.: "Well all I know is they are the PrimeTime tag team champs, they had no business in this match and if it were me, they'd be suspended starting now"! Lawler: "Well I guess that's why you're not in charge J.R., look, they were just trying to send a message". J.R.: "Message sent and received and I hope they're proud of themselves because they just ruined a great new chapter in the history of the Hardy Boyz"! BACKSTAGE........ HIGH OCTANE IS SHOWN SITTING IN HIS DRESSING ROOM AND HE SEEMS DEEP IN THOUGHT. JUST THEN, TRISH STRATUS COMES IN. Trish Stratus: "Hey Damian, how ya doin'"? High Octane: "I'm just thinkin'. I'm just thinkin' about where I was at this same time last year. And I'm just thinkin' about where I will go if I can do it again tonight... beat Wakeman again". Trish: "Oh, can we not talk about him? Anyway, how much better would that story be if I was there with you"? High Octane: "Trish, I definitely appreciate that, but this is something I have to do on my own tonight. I want to shock the world, one more time. So please, no offense, but I'd prefer you stay back here tonight". TRISH DOESN'T SEEM TO LIKE THE IDEA. Trish: "Okay, I'll be cheering you on from right here". THE SHOT SHIFTS TO THE DRESSING ROOM OF AXL IRVIN WHERE HE IS PEERING INTO AN OPEN LOCKER ROOM, FULL OF ROBES THAT ONCE BELONGED TO RIC FLAIR. Axl Irvin: "So, which one should I wear out there tonight? I love this black and blue one and I think it would be symbolic since that's how I'm gonna leave Flair". Traci Brooks: "I just think that Flair knew that this day would come, and that's why he gave you all those robes". Axl: "Well starting tonight, I'm gonna show the world the right way to style and profile. And Flair, all he'll have to do to be the Nature Boy again...... is to beat the Nature Boy....... woooooooo"! AXL AND TRACI KISS AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING. THE CAMERA PANS OVER THE RING WHICH HAS BEEN STREWN WITH WEAPONS AND FOREIGN OBJECTS. Cole: "As you can see, the ring is set up for the first ever Hazardous to your health match and it looks like a battlefield out here"! Ventura: "And when was the last time you remember seeing a doctor sitting ringside at a wrestling event"? THE CAMERA GETS A SHOT OF THE DOCTOR BEFORE "BURN IN MY LIGHT" BY MERCY DRIVE PLAYS AND RANDY ORTON COMES OUT TO A HOARD OF BOOS. Cole: "I don't think I ever have but that's what the TWF does, it makes history! And as you can hear, Randy Orton is about as popular as anywhere else we go"! Ventura: "And he's gonna be even less popular after he defeats Johnny Hazard in his own match here"! "NEW WORLD DISORDER" BY BIOHAZARD HITS, RAISING THE CHEERS FROM THE CROWD AS JOHNNY HAZARD COMES OUT WITH THE 4 LOVELY LADIES THAT COMPRISE THE HAREM. Cole: "And as you heard earlier, the only way this match can end is by doctor's order"! Ventura: "That means these two men could do serious, career threatening damage to one another so if anyone with a weak stomach is watching, you might want to take a bathroom break"! Hazardous to your Health match Randy Orton vs. Johnny Hazard w/ The Harem Hazard stopped at the foot of the ring and got a kiss from each of his ladies. But just then, Orton struck him with a baseball slide that knocked him onto the ramp. Orton then picked up a Singapore can that lay in the ring and he went out after Hazard. He missed with a swing of it and Hazard kicked him in the shin before getting up and dropping him with a right hand. Hazard then smacked Orton across the back with the cane and then again. Orton winced in pain but then grabbed one of the women and pulled her in front of him, using her as a shield of sorts. Hazard tried to pull the terrified young blonde out of the way, giving Orton the oppurtunity to kick him right in the crotch. After a hard clothesline, Orton then picked up a trash can and put it over the head of Hazard before picking up the cane, smacking the can 3 times, busting the cane on it. Hazard fell to the floor and Orton pulled the trash can off him and rolled him into the ring. Orton followed in and was now just toying with Hazard, kicking him in the head, chest and ribs each time he tried to get up. The fans tried to get behind Hazard but Orton now had a street sign and he smacked it over the head of Hazard before demanding the doctor come check on him. The doctor rose from his chair and took a quick look at Hazard but shook his head saying "He's okay". Orton kept up the onslaught, grabbing him by his blonde hair and launching him over the top rope. Orton then went to the top rope himself and flew off with his crossbody block. But Hazard alertly moved and Orton slammed into the steel ramp like a bug on a windshield. Hazard reached under the ring and pulled out a table, drawing a huge cheer from the crowd. He slid it into the ring and went inside to stand it up before coming back out after Orton. But Orton beat him to the punch with a shot to the stomach. He then backed up and ran at him but Hazard countered with a backbody drop right onto the floor. After ramming Orton face first into the steel ring post, Hazard grabbed what appeared to be an oar from a boat and he smashed Orton over the head with it. Hazard then grabbed a ladder and ran it into the forehead of Orton before sending it into the ring. He asked the doctor to check on Orton as he set up the ladder. The doctor said it was okay for Orton to continue. So Hazard gazed into the crowd before leaving the ring and walking up the ramp towards the back. It was unclear exactly what Hazard was doing until he reemerged with a fire poker! The crowd couldn't believe their eyes as Hazard marched down the ramp with the weapon but Orton had enough time to recover and he ducked a swing of it, delivering an "RKO" on the floor. Orton then went under the ring and pulled out what appeared to be a bottle of lighter fluid. He went inside and spread it all over the table before pulling out a book of matches from his own boot. He struck the match and threw it on the table, igniting it in flames. But by this time, Hazard was back in the ring, pushing the doctor away. Hazard and Orton exchanged right hands and Hazard knocked him to the mat with a stiff kick right to the face. Hazard then climbed the ladder as the crowd rose to their feet. But Orton got up and saw him, deciding to go up the other side. Up there, they again traded shots but Orton raked Hazard across the eyes and then rammed his face into the top of the ladder. What came next was one of the most shocking moments in TWF history. Orton grabbed Hazard around the head and neck and somehow pulled him off the ladder for an RKO right through the flaming table! An emergency crew with fire extinguishers appeared, spraying Hazard as a chant of "This shit rules" filled the stands. The doctor took one look at Hazard and waved his arms, saying "That's it". Referee Mickey Henson then asked for the bell, declaring Orton the winner. Match Time: 8:11 "BURN IN MY LIGHT" PLAYED AND ORTON LEFT AS THE SURVIVOR. Cole: "I don't.... I don't even know what to say to what we have just seen partner, all I can hope is that Johnny Hazard hasn't suffered serious injuries". Ventura: "Well it was serious enough for the doctor to stop the match! The man was just burned, Michael"! Cole: "Look I know both men agreed to this match, I know there had been some bad blood brewing, but when is enough enough? Randy Orton just RKO'd Johnny Hazard off a ladder through a flaming table"! Ventura: "And like the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it". THE HAREM WAS OBVIOUSLY CONCERNED AS EMTs CHECKED ON JOHNNY HAZARD. AT THE TOP OF THE RAMP, ORTON TURNED AND LOOKED BACK WITH A SICK SMILE ON HIS FACE. BACKSTAGE AREA..... JORDAN ROCKWELL IS SHOWN IN THE BACK WHEN SHANE THOMPSON COMES UP. Shane Thompson: "So some of the guys told me that when you win tonight, you are coming back after the Universal title". Jordan Rockwell: "Yeah, that's the plan. Got a problem with it... punk"? Thompson: "Well, two things really. First, it's if you beat Corey, not when and I think it's a big if. Second, as long as I'm the champion, you can't get a shot.... remember that little rule"? ROCKWELL IS ABOUT TO INTERJECT WHEN PAUL HEYMAN COMES UP. Paul Heyman: "Not to mention that I don't appreciate the fact you are overlooking my client, The Show Joe Corey. Now, you may have defeated him a couple years ago in the King of the Ring finals, but that was a much different Joe Corey. I mean, you don't even........ JUST THEN, ROCKWELL GRABS HEYMAN BY THE COLLAR AND PUSHES HIM UP AGAINST THE WALL. Rockwell: "You think I'm overlooking anything? Let me tell you something that you can take back to your client. After I beat Corey tonight, I'll look for you next Paul, you've been a thorn in my side almost as long as Thompson. Oh and Shane, I'll have something for you and your little rule because Batista is gonna wipe the mat with your scrawny little ass tonight..... bitch"! ROCKWELL PUSHES HEYMAN AWAY AND WALKS OFF, SENDING THE SHOT BACK TO THE RING. Lawler: "Man, can someone get that guy some decaf"?! J.R.: "Speaking of decaf....... IN THE RING, ARMANDO ALEJANDRO ESTRADA IS SHOWN WITH A MICROPHONE. Armando Alejandro Estrada: "My name es..... Armando..... Alejandro..... Estrada! And tonight, all of you Puerto Rican people are going to have the honor of watching my Samoan Bulldozer...... como se dice..... tear through the competition! So here he comes...... Uuuuuuumaaaga"! UMAGA's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO NOTHING BUT BOOS. J.R.: "Samoan Bulldozer is the perfect nickname for this guy, he's just been a human wrecking ball since joining up with Estrada"! "WANNA KNOW" BY OBIE TRICE COMES ON, BRINGING MAX OGDEN OUT TO A BIG CHEER. Lawler: "And if you don't believe just how tough and physical Umaga is, just ask this guy! Max Ogden felt it when Umaga came hunting for Jimmy Hart's megaphone"! J.R.: "Well I talked to Max Ogden earlier today and he said he could care less about the megaphone, as long as it gets Jimmy Hart out of his life for good! He is as focused as he can possibly be on this match here"! Lawler: "Well he's easily giving up a hundred and fifty pounds, he's gonna need all the focus he can get"! Umaga w/ Armando Alejandro Estrada vs. Max Ogden The bell sounded and Ogden walked right up to Umaga, showing no fear. Umaga shouted at him with an almost war-like cry, but Ogden responded with a right hand. Umaga fired back and Ogden hit him again. Umaga took another swing but Ogden ducked and found the mark with a kick to the midsection. Trying to stand up with the big Samoan, Ogden smashed him with 2 knifedge chops but Umaga actually caught his arm when he went for a third and just threw it down over the top rope. Ogden grabbed the arm in pain and Umaga just erased him with a back savat kick. After a stiff thrust to the throat, Umaga whipped Ogden to the ropes but he dropped his head too soon. Ogden went to counter with a sunset flip but Umaga was too big to bring over. Umaga tried to sit straight down but Ogden got out of the way. He then hit the ropes, kicking Umaga right in the back of the head. He then grabbed him in a standing side headlock and tried for a running bulldog but Umaga reversed it into a nasty backdrop suplex. He then set Ogden in the corner and with a running start, slammed into him with his behind. Ogden's head was jacked back and Umaga decided to go for the kill, climbing to the top rope. He flew off with the big Samoan splash but again, Ogden was out of the way. Using the ropes to pull himself up, Ogden had a lot of determination in his eyes. He pounded Umaga with a series of right hands before catching him with a jumping enziguri. He still wasn't off his feet but Ogden grabbed him and used the ropes to turn a tornado DDT. Ogden rolled the big man over and covered him as referee Chad Patton issued the 1.........2........, but that was it. Ogden knew he needed more and with both men on their feet, he stomped on the bare feet of Umaga. After hitting the ropes, Ogden drilled him with a flying forearm that knocked him into the ropes and he tried to follow up with the "Memory Maker". But Umaga had it scouted, tossing Ogden across the ring. Ogden got up and charged him but Umaga was waiting with a swinging sideslam which some people know as the Black Hole Slam and he covered Ogden for the 3 count. Match Time: 9:22 J.R.: "What a great run Max Ogden just gave this guy but the size and power of Umaga was just too much"! Lawler: "He actually stomped on the man's feet J.R.! I think all that did was make him mad"! ESTRADA GOT INTO THE RING AND HELD UP A CUBAN CIGAR, SNAPPING IT IN HALF. UMAGA THEN PICKED UP OGDEN AND DELIVERED THE SAMOAN SPIKE, DRIVING AN EXTENDED THUMB RIGHT INTO HIS THROAT AND ADDING INSULT TO INJURY. J.R.: "Now come on! That was sure as hell uncalled for... the match is over"! Lawler: "And like I said, he made him mad". UMAGA AND ESTRADA LEFT THE RING AS OGDEN WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN ON THE MAT. J.R.: "That doesn't mean attack the man when he's down! I sure as hell hope someone makes this.... this Samoan Bulldozer pay for that"! Lawler: "But something tells me there won't be many takers"! BACKSTAGE........ WILLIAM REGAL IS SHOWN IN THE BACK POURING HIMSELF A DRINK WHEN MONEY MIKE COMES UP. REGAL TURNS TO SEE HIM AND ALMOST SPILLS HIS DRINK. Money Mike: "Hello Regal, how's J.J. doin'"? William Regal: "Uh..... good. Master Ramplin is training at the moment". Money Mike: "Well even though I'm sure he's rooting against me tonight, you tell him that what I do to Jason Oliver tonight, will remind him of just who the hell I am. It will remind him of all that he threw away, listening to others. You tell him that....... MONEY MIKE WALKS OFF AS RAMPLIN TAKES A SIP FROM HIS CUP. THE SHOT SWITCHES TO ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA WHERE MARIA IS STANDING BY WITH RIC FLAIR. Maria: "Ric..... I don't know if you want to talk about it or not, but what do you think of Axl Irvin calling himself the new Nature Boy"? Ric Flair: "Me not want to talk? C'mon Maria, you really gotta get to know me better. Axl..... there was a point in time when I would've loved you to call yourself exactly that.... the new Nature Boy! But you decided to stab me in the back.... throw Ric Flair to the side and for what? For some woman! Look man, take it from me, I've been all over the world and women, they come and go. What I could've given you in this business was once in a lifetime pal and after I'm through with you tonight, you'll be a forgotten soul, no one will care because they'll all know how stupid you were for turning your back on me..... the real Nature Boy.... woooooooo"! A HEATED FLAIR WALKS AWAY AS MARIA LOOKS ON. "LIT UP" BY BUCKCHERRY HITS AND TRACI BROOKS COMES OUT WITH HER HAIR IN PIGTAILS AND SHE IS WEARING A SHORT BLACK SKIRT AND BLACK TOP. FOLLOWING HER IS AXL IRVIN, WHO IS WEARING A BLACK AND PURPLE ROBE, ONCE BELONGING TO RIC FLAIR. Cole: "This is incredible, does this guy really think that by disrespecting Ric Flair and slapping these fans in the face, he is going to be as good as Flair has been over his career"? Ventura: "Well we all know Flair is a sure fire Hall of Famer and as much as I like what Axl Irvin brings to the table, I'd have to say no only because there is no one who can duplicate what Flair has done. But, a win here would go a long way in Axl putting his name on the map, making a star out of himself right here at MeltDown"! "WOOOOOO" IS HEARD AND THE CROWD COMES TO THEIR FEET AS RIC FLAIR COMES OUT TO OVER 16,000 PEOPLE GIVING HIM A STANDING OVATION. Cole: "But that's the problem, Axl Irvin is trying to make a name for himself by stealing what this man has done for over thirty years now! This reaction, this ovation is what makes Ric Flair the Nature Boy, the real Nature Boy"! Ventura: "Michael you're talking to the wrong guy if you are trying to give a sermon about Ric Flair, I've known the man for years and am well aware of what he has done! But Axl Irvin has done what so many of Flair's opponents over the year should have done and if Flair wants to take it away from him..... here's his chance"! Ric Flair vs. "The New Nature Boy" Axl Irvin w/ Traci Brooks Referee Mike Enos asked for the bell to start the match and Flair stood across the ring from Axl, shaking his head, almost in disbelief that the two were facing each other. Flair looked out into the crowd and let out an inspired "Wooooo" and the crowd repeated it. Trying to out do him, Axl let out a "Woooo" of his own and Flair belted him with a knifedge chop, stinging his chest. After 2 stiff right hands, Flair grabbed Axl in a standing side headlock and rifled a series of right hands into the top of his head. As Axl tried to shake the effects of that off, Flair waxed him with another knifedge chop, turning Axl's chest beet red. Flair went for an irish whip but Axl came up with a reverse. He dropped his head too soon and Flair went for a sunset flip. But Axl showed tremendous balance, not allowing himself to be pulled over before stomping right on the face of Flair. He then picked Flair, his former mentor up and used the middle ring rope to choke the life out of him. He used all of Enos' count that he could before breaking the hold. After a few kicks to the gut, Axl picked Flair up for a devastating backbreaker across the knee. He made the cover but Flair showed he had plenty of fight left in him, easily kicking out. Axl pulled him up and whipped him to the ropes for a backbody drop. Flair landed on his hip and went into immediate pain but Axl showed him no mercy, hitting the ropes and kicking him right in the face with the sole of his boot. Axl got on one of the turnbuckles and taunted the crowd a little before leaping off the middle turnbuckle, drilling Flair with a lariat. Axl scrambled over to make the cover but Flair kicked out at 2 and a half. As the match wore on, Axl became more of a favorite as he just beat down Flair with kicks, stomps and punches to the body. Each time Flair would try to fight back, Axl would stop him with a knee or kick to the midsection. After backing Flair into the corner, Axl smacked him with a knifedge chop of his own. Flair's eyes looked as if they were going to pop out of his head as he almost challenged Axl to hit him again. Axl obliged with another knifedge and Flair fired back with one of his own. The two then traded right hands when suddenly, Flair reached down and grabbed the crotch of Axl. Enos threatened a disqualification and that was the only thing that made Flair release the hold. But now, Flair was in the driver's seat and as he smashed Axl with knifedge after knifedge, the crowd came alive. Flair hit the ropes and ducked a clothesline before coming off the other side with a chop block that buckled the left knee of Axl. From there, Flair stomped on the left shin and knee of Axl, obviously setting up for his signature hold the figure four. After a shinbreaker, it looked like it was all over when Traci jumped up on the apron and actually began to remove the straps of her shirt. Flair looked enticed by the woman that put a wedge between he and Axl and he walked over, grabbed her with both hands and kissed her right on the mouth. Traci looked disgusted and jumped off the apron when Flair turned into a harsh clothesline from Axl that looked like it would decapitate him. Axl then picked Flair up and got him in position for the "Axl Cutter", delivering it with perfection before rolling Flair over to get the win. Match Time: 9:34 Cole: "I don't believe this! Axl Irvin has upset the legendary Ric Flair"! Ventura: "He sure as heck has Michael, and how ironic is it that Flair went after the very thing he criticized Axl for, Traci using her sex appeal to help his cause"! AXL GRABBED TRACI BY THE HAND AND HE RAISED BOTH OF THEIR ARMS UP AS "LIT UP" PLAYED AGAIN AND THE CROWD LOUDLY BOOED AS FLAIR ROLLED AROUND ON THE MAT, IN A LOT OF PAIN. Cole: "Well Traci has to be the most hands on manager in the history of the TWF then..... someone tell her to keep her damn clothes on"! Ventura: "She's also one of the best managers in the TWF and that is why Axl Irvin has just picked up the biggest win of his career........ woooooo"! AFTER AXL AND TRACI TOOK THEIR LEAVE, FLAIR USED THE ROPES TO GET TO HIS FEET AND THE CROWD AGAIN GAVE HIM A STANDING OVATION. Cole: "Well there you see the respect, the respect for a man who has given everything to this business and it is this respect that Axl Irvin will never have partner, end of story". BACKSTAGE...... CAMERAS IN THE BACK CATCH A GLIMPSE OF CARNEY WHEN MONEY MIKE COMES UP. CARNEY IMMEDIATELY PUTS HIS HANDS UP IN A FIGHTING STANCE WHEN HE SEES HIS FORMER HORSEMEN LEADER. Money Mike: "Whoa...... whoa, that's not what I came here for. No, I came to let you know that my match is next so you might want to find a monitor or whatever you guys that aren't on the card do, and take a close look. Take a close look at what I do to the rebel Jason Oliver. MIKE STARTS TO WALK AWAY BUT TURNS BACK. Oh and Carney, I sure hope you make something of yourself here in the TWF.... ya know, since the Horsemen was so bad for you". MIKE WALKS AWAY AND CARNEY JUST SHAKES HIS HEAD. CAMERAS GO TO THE DRESSING ROOM OF JORDAN ROCKWELL AND HE IS SHOWN GETTING READY FOR HIS MATCH WITH LITA. Jordan Rockwell: "So, did you find Austin"? Lita: "No, but I told Shane McMahon to send him here so he said it'd just be a sec........ JUST THEN, THERE IS A KNOCK AT THE DOOR AND "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN ENTERS WITH A BEER IN HAND. THE CROWD INSIDE THE ARENA CHEERS AT THE SITE OF THE TWF LEGEND. Steve Austin: "So, I got your request. After some thought (he takes a drink) and a few beers, I've decided that I'll allow you at ringside tonight Lita. But I gotta warn ya, ya better stay in line, cause I'm not above breaking out a can of whoop ass and hittin' you with the Stunner..... okay"? Lita: "O..... Okay". AUSTIN TURNS TO LEAVE. Rockwell: "Uh... Steve. AUSTIN TURNS AROUND Are you sure you're gonna be okay to referee the match, you look like you've had one too many". AUSTIN WALKS BACK AND GETS IN ROCKWELL's FACE. Austin: "What'd you say to me? Are you forgetting who the hell I am? Don't eyeball me boy...... I'm Stone Cold Steve Austin, the baddest, toughest, son of a bitch this company has ever seen! So you bet your ass, I'll be the best referee you could have and that's the bottom line..... cause Stone Cold said so"! "LET's GO" BY TRICK DADDY HITS AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING AND OUT COMES MONEY MIKE ALONG WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON. STEPH IS WEARING AN UNBELIEVABLE DRESS THAT HAS THE PRINT OF A $100 BILL ON IT. J.R.: "Those boos must mean that Money Mike is out here.... oh look". Lawler: "Make jokes all you want J.R., but Steph looks like a hundred bucks, ahahahahaha"! J.R.: "The one time leader of the Horsemen on his way to the ring and boy did he have the rug pulled out from under him at Anarchy Rulz". Lawler: "And that is the reason for this match tonight. There are those that feel Jason Oliver escaped some sort of career prison but I'm on the side that believes all he did was commit career suicide"! CHEERS SOUND THROUGHOUT THE COLISEO DE PUERTO RICO AS "SUPERSTAR" BY SALIVA STARTS UP AND JASON OLIVER COMES OUT WITH A VERY DETERMINED LOOK ON HIS FACE. J.R.: "That's your opinion and you're entitled to that, but stop and think about the planning that this youngster went through in order to do what he did and when he shocked the wrestling world at Anarchy Rulz, I know for one I considered him a breakout star"! Lawler: "No one has ever questioned Oliver's talent J.R., he just has had problems with how to use it. That's what Money Mike was for, that's where he came in but for whatever reason, Jason Oliver never bought into it, he felt that Mike had some sort of hidden agenda"! J.R.: "Well needless to say, two former Horsemen are about to go at it and I know that one of Jason Oliver's claims was that Money Mike ran the name of the Horsemen into the dirt and I tend to agree with that. But tonight, it's about who is the man and I hope we get to see who that is without that jezebel Stephanie McMahon's involvement". Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. Jason Oliver The bell sounded and the two men circled one another, looking for the right spot to attack. Oliver went for a leg pick but Mike grabbed him in a front facelock. But Oliver quickly countered and after a go behind into a waistlock, he took Mike to the mat and locked in a very nasty bow and arrow. Mike looked surprised as Oliver wrenched back on the hold. Oliver had his knee in the small of Mike's back and was pulling back on his leg and chin. It took all Mike had to get to the ropes to earn a break. But Oliver stayed on the back, like a shark smelling blood and he had a bear hug on the mat, trying to squeeze all the energy he could out of Mike, even though he was holding the bottom rope. Oliver let Mike get up and from a standing position, they locked up and Mike took him into a standing hammerlock. But Oliver dropped to one knee and used a fireman's carry before slapping on a dragon sleeper. Mike wheeled himself around using his feet to get to the ropes and then rolled out of the ring, looking for Steph to console him. Mike had gotten a break but it was clear the match was clearly in Oliver's favor. Mike got back in the ring and tried to stay out of Oliver's grasp. He then took a swing with his right hand but Oliver dodged it and then somehow grapevined the arm, taking Mike to the mat with a fujiwara armbar. Mike was clearly out of his element as he struggled to get free but at the risk of breaking his arm, he got to his feet and kicked Oliver right in the stomach. Mike was in pain and may've even had a seperated shoulder. But he stayed on the attack, stomping at the head of Oliver. Oliver got to his feet and Mike then clotheslined him over the top rope to the floor. Mike tried to distract referee Jim Korderas Stephanie got down, choking Oliver. Korderas didn't see this take place but by the guilty look Steph had on her face...... Korderas threw her out! Mike pleaded with Korderas to change his mind but Oliver tripped him up and yanked him under the bottom rope to the floor. Oliver then showed some amazing strength, grabbing Mike under the shoulder and tossing him head over heels into the barricade around the ring! Oliver looked enraged as he picked Mike up and he sent him into the ring, stalking him. Mike got up and Oliver was waiting with a kick but Mike spun him around and hit the "Money Pit" out of nowhere. He made a quick cover but Korderas could only get a 2 count as Oliver got his shoulder up, showing true heart. The crowd poured on the cheers as Mike could not believe it. He pulled Oliver up and whipped him to the corner but he missed with a clothesline and Oliver pulled him to the mat with a falling neckbreaker. After a big elbow, Oliver tried to get Mike in the Sharpshooter. Mike was able to pull him into a small package but Oliver had enough momentum to turn it into a pin himself to get the 1........2......., but Mike was up. Mike threw a clothesline but missed everything before falling to the "Claymore". The crowd was going wild as Oliver topped Mike but this time, it was Mike who kicked out of a signature move. Stephanie returned, coming to the ring and trying to get involved but a huge cheer was heard when Stacy Snow came out, yanking Steph to the floor by her hair. Korderas yelled at the women and with his back to the action, a man emerged from the crowd carrying a brown bag with a dollar sign on it. He was dressed as none other than Starman! Both Mike and Oliver got to their feet as the masked man got on the apron and he swung the bag, striking Oliver in the head. The man then left like a thief in the night as Oliver crumpled to the mat. A huge smile was formed on the face of Money Mike as he picked up Oliver, who was almost dead weight. Mike got him up for a second Money Pit, delivering it with plenty of impact, hooking the leg to get the 1.........2........3. Match Time: 7:32 Several fans in the crowd tried to tell Korderas what happened but it was no use. "Let's Go" played again as Mike helped Stephanie up. Stacy Snow went into the ring to check on Oliver as boos showered the arena. J.R.: "Did we see what I think we just saw?! That was the Starman"! Lawler: "You heard Mike earlier when he was talking to J.J. Ramplin, he was going to let everyone remember one more time just who he is and that is the element of surprise! I love it"! J.R.: "I feel so bad for Jason Oliver, he outwrestled Mike, he outmanuevered Mike and yet, he's lost the match! I thought we got to the bottom of this story"! MIKE LOOKED BACK AT OLIVER WITH HIS ARM AROUND STEPHANIE, SMILING AT HIS ONE TIME HORSEMEN MEMBER. Lawler: "Well look who had the last laugh"! J.R.: "And what about this.... who the hell was that guy! This thing has taken more turns than All My Children! Ah..... I'm just sick about it"! BACKSTAGE..... TRAVIS WAKEMAN's DRESSING ROOM...... TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS SHOWN IN HIS DRESSING ROOM, TAPING HIS WRISTS WHEN MELINA ENTERS. Melina: "Hey babe". Travis Wakeman: "What did you call me"? Melina: "Uh.... sorry, force of habit. Anyway, I was up all night watching tapes of High Octane, and I've figured out a few ways for you to beat him. So....... Wakeman: "Look Melina, this is one of the biggest matches of my career. I plan to not only beat High Octane tonight, but to make him wish he never stepped in the same ring as me. The last thing I want to do is listen to advice or strategy from you. I have to get ready". WAKEMAN RISES FROM HIS BENCH AND GOES OVER TO A PUNCHING BAG, HITTING IT SEVERAL TIMES AS MELINA SLOWLY WALKS OUT OF THE ROOM, VERY DISAPPOINTED. HOWARD FINKEL IS SHOWN IN THE RING. Howard Finkel: "Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest, scheduled for one fall.... is for the TWF Universal title"! THE CROWD LOUDLY CHEERS BUT THOSE CHEERS SOON TURN TO BOOS WHEN "MIDDLE OF NOWHERE" BY THE BLANK THEORY HITS AND SHANE THOMPSON STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK, SLOWLY APPROACHING THE RING. Cole: "And this man is no stranger to titles, widely considered one of the greatest champions the TWF has ever seen, Shane Thompson has been on a crusade to get rid of what he says is ruining the sport". Ventura: "And if you ask me, someone who made a living in between those ropes, there's nothing at all wrong with that". Cole: "Yeah other than the fact that he waited until the last possible moment to tell Batista that he feels he can't wrestle and he is ruining the sport"! Ventura: "He never said he couldn't wrestle.... he just wants him to wrestle in the ring instead of treating the match like the set of some Hollywood action movie"! "I WALK ALONE" BY SALIVA HITS AND BATISTA COMES OUT TO THE BIGGEST CHEER OF THE NIGHT, NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. THE UNIVERSAL TITLE IS AROUND HIS WAIST AND HE DOES ALL HIS RECOGNIZABLE POSES AS PYRO BLASTS OFF BEHIND HIM. Cole: "Here comes the animal"! Ventura: "And what he's doing now is proving Thompson's point, he doesn't look like a wrestler, he looks like someone who belongs in a Mister Olympia contest"! Cole: "Well what he is is the TWF Universal champion and up until this point, no one has even come close to taking that away from him"! Ventura: "Not until tonight Michael, Shane Thompson is going to be a much different opponent than this jacked up moron is used to dealing with"! Cole: "Well he'll have to be, he's giving up about nearly a foot in height and at least one hundred pounds in weight"! TWF Universal Title Match Challenger: Shane Thompson vs. Batista Batista tried to think on his feet as the bell rang as Thompson made sure not to get in too close. They circled one another several times before Thompson curiously asked for a test of strength. Batista accepted, interlocking hands with the challenger and easily breaking him down. Batista then took that into a hammerlock before pushing Thompson away. Thompson seemed surprised at Batista's strategy and charged at him, falling into a deep arm drag. Batista got up, hopping in place with a big smile on his face, letting Thompson know he could in fact use at least one wrestling hold, which Thompson asked for at the contract signing. Thompson came in and grabbed Batista by the waist but then the champion's power game took over. After a devastating double sledge to the back, Batista whipped him to the corner with such ferocity it looked like the entire ring moved. Batista followed in with a clothesline before lifting Thompson up for a military press. Batista tossed him but Thompson showed the athleticism that has made him a multi-title holder in the TWF, landing on his feet. Batista swung with a clothesline and missed and after a kick to each side, Thompson caught him with a jumping spin kick to the jaw. Using the ropes, Thompson climbed up and drove Batista's face into the mat for a bulldog effect. Thompson had the champion right where he wanted him, tying him up in a keylock. Batista used both hands to power out of the hold but Thompson bounced off the ropes and kicked Batista right in the gut, possibly knocking the wind out of him. He then kicked him right in the face with a punt style shot and that busted the mouth of Batista. Thompson went for a hurracanrana but Batista caught him and looked to counter it into his finisher. But Thompson punched Batista multiple times in the head to break free and after a kick to the back that caught Batista's kidneys, Thompson drove him into the mat with a reverse DDT to get a 2 count after a cover. Thompson, quick as a cat, jumped to the top rope, catching Batista with an amazing spinning heel kick off the top rope and another cover garnered another 2 count. A loud chant of "Batista" kicked up and Thompson did his best to quiet the crowd, peppering the head and upper body of Batista with kicks. Thompson came back with a slap to each side of the head followed by a roundhouse kick but Batista caught his leg. Thompson knew he was in a bad predicament, and Batista grabbed him by the throat, lifting him into the air and just throwing him into the corner. Batista then slammed into him with a clothesline before shooting him to the ropes. But Thompson dove in between Batista's legs and got up, pointing into the crowd. Referee Mickey Henson turned to look but it was all a ploy for Thompson to kick Batista in the groin from behind. Batista fell to his knees and Thompson then delivered a perfect shining wizard. Thompson decided to go high risk again and he came off the top rope with an incredible Phoenix splash, landing right on the champion in a cover. He never hooked a leg however, making it easier for Batista to push him off at two. He hit the ropes but Batista was waiting with his spinebuster and that got the crowd charged up. Batista got up, full of adrenaline, and gave him double thumbs down signal. But when he went to grab Thompson, Thompson flung his arms away and caught Batista with a jumping enziguri that sent a crack through the stands. Thompson got Batista up and whipped him to the corner. He then climbed the turnbuckle behind him and locked in a scissorhold around his neck. Henson looked as if he didn't know how to call it, even though Thompson was clearly holding the robes with both hands for extra leverage. Just when it looked like Batista was about to fade away, he reached back and yanked Thompson off the turnbuckle and in the same motion, drove him into the mat with the "Batista Bomb" to get the 1..........2...........3. Match Time: 13:31 Ventura: "Wow..... how the heck did he do that"?! Cole: "Amazing! This man is simply amazing! Shane Thompson was about to choke Batista out with that headscissor but somehow, Batista found it in him to turn it into a Batista Bomb and he's still the champ"! "I WALK ALONE" PLAYED AGAIN AS HENSON HANDED BATISTA THEN BELT AND HE CELEBRATED WITH THE WILD CROWD. Ventura: "His dominance continues... I really thought this would be the night he lost it". Cole: "The word dominant comes to mind. The word unbeatable comes to mind. One thing is for sure, to get that title off Batista, it might take a small army"! BACKSTAGE....... STEPHANIE McMAHON AND MONEY MIKE ARE SHOWN IN THE BACK AND MIKE HAS SHOWERED AND IS FULLY DRESSED. Stephanie: "Oh babe, that was perfect, I knew you could pull this off. SHE GIVES HIM A HUG. Let's go out and celebrate". Money Mike: "Oh we will, but let's get back to the states first, it smells around here". THE SHOT GOES BACK TO RINGSIDE WHEN "LYING FROM YOU" BY LINKIN PARK HITS AND JOE COREY COMES OUT WITH PAUL HEYMAN TO NOTHING BUT BOOS. J.R.: "Well with this being our big interbrand match of the night, all four of us are gonna call this match. So, how you guys enjoying the event so far"? Cole: "I'd have to say that tonight has been one of the biggest events in TWF history and these people here in Puerto Rico have been great"! Lawler: "Hey, how would you guys like to have someone like The Show on PrimeTime"? Ventura: "Hey, I watch every episode of Rampage and this guy is one of my favorites, he knows how to get the job done but he has perhaps his biggest challenge to date tonight". THE CROWD GOES BANANAS WHEN "BACK IN BLACK" BY AC/DC COMES ON AND JORDAN ROCKWELL STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK, STARING RIGHT AT COREY. WITH HIM HOLDING HIS HAND IS LITA. J.R.: "Well this one is almost two years in the making, dating all the way back to the 2004 King of the Ring when this man defeated Corey in the finals to win the tournament". Cole: "And then of course Corey, from Rampage, showed up at a PrimeTime pay-per-view, TWF Payback, and attacked Rockwell so Corey fired the first shot here but Rockwell has welcomed the challenge with open arms and guys, I don't know how familiar you are with Rockwell these days, but I'm sure you'll soon realize why they call him the Franchise". J.R.: "I've followed Rockwell since his debut here in the TWF and there's no doubt he belongs in the same breath with the greatest of all time and by no means am I condoning Corey's behavior, it's just........ Lawler: "You guys will just have to try and tune J.R. out, he has a tendency to ramble on". Ventura: "Ah, finally you and I have something in common, King". J.R.: "Well it will be one fall to a finish and......... JUST THEN, THE SOUND OF BREAKING GLASS IS HEARD AND STEVE AUSTIN COMES OUT TO AN AMAZING POP WEARING A T-SHIRT THAT SAYS "UNLEASH HELL" AND HIS USUAL PAIR OF JEAN SHORTS. Lawler: "Where's the striped shirt"?! J.R.: "You gonna tell him to put it on King?! The Texas rattlesnake has hit Puerto Rico as the special referee and God forbid if one of these guys gets out of line"! Ventura: "Well we heard what he told Lita earlier so I think anyone is fair game, even you Michael"! Cole: "Very funny, let's just see how he does calling the match, he might have experience in the ass whoopin' department but not as a referee, especially for a match of this magnitude"! "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Paul Heyman vs. Jordan Rockwell w/ Lita *Special Referee: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Austin called for the bell to start the match and then brought the two men to the center of the ring. Rockwell and Corey were eye to eye as Austin stood beside them, telling them what he would and would not tolerate. Both men took a step back and Corey fired at Rockwell with a cheap shot, only to have Rockwell block it and come back with a right hand. After an inverted atomic drop, Rockwell hit the ropes for a clothesline and he was all fired up. He dropped to the mat, looking to lock in the STF but Corey felt it coming and got to the ropes. Rockwell pulled Corey up and shot him to the ropes but he missed with a clothesline and Corey flew off with his Harley Race knee. He then got on the mat, mounting Rockwell and blasting him with some very stiff right hands. Austin warned Corey to open up the fist but Corey instead got up in Austin's face. Austin was almost daring Corey to hit him when Rockwell rolled him up from behind to get a 1......2......, but Corey was up. Rockwell hit the ropes but Corey very nicely used a back footsweep to trip him up followed by a spiral legdrop. After picking him up, Corey delivered a big vertical suplex and made a cover but Rockwell was easily up. Corey whipped him to the corner and came in, climbing to the middle turnbuckle and pounding Rockwell in the head 6 times before Rockwell grabbed him and walked out, dropping Corey throat first over the top ring rope. Rockwell then caught Corey with a wicked DDT and rolled him over as Austin got down to make a long 2 count. Austin seemed a little out of position but Rockwell picked Corey up, only to catch a right hand in the gut and Corey then delivered a tight angle swinging neckbreaker. From there, he went to the apron, looking for a flying helo. But Rockwell rolled out of the way and picked Corey up, going for Extreme Meausures. But again, Corey had it scouted and he countered into a sleeper hold slam, again making the cover for a 1.........2......., but Rockwell got his right shoulder off the mat. Corey pulled him up but Rockwell showed a sudden burst of energy, grabbing him and delivering the Rock Smasher. Austin was in great position this time but Rockwell was slow to make the cover and Corey kicked out at 2 and three quarters. Rockwell said it was time for the Kill Switch and he tried to get Corey up for it. But Corey got loose and grabbed Rockwell's arm, spinning him into a kick to the abdomen. With Rockwell crouched over, Corey grabbed his arms and tried to set him up for the "Showstopper". But Rockwell was able to counter with a backdrop. Alertly though, Corey didn't let go and fell into a sunset flip. He turned Rockwell over and got on his knees with a ton of leverage to get a 3 count. Match Time: 7:09 Ventura: "What the heck happened"? Lawler: "Oh look at this! Chalk one up for Rampage"! ROCKWELL SEEMED TO BE DISPUTING THE DECISION FROM AUSTIN AS COREY AND HEYMAN LEFT AND "LYING FROM YOU" PLAYED. COREY LOOKED LIKE HE HAD JUST WON THE TWF TITLE. J.R.: "Joe Corey came up with a clever counter there and he just had anough behind it to pin Rockwell". Cole: "Well I can tell ya, Rockwell doesn't think it was three and he's letting Austin know that"! ROCKWELL AND LITA NOW CONTINUED TO PROTEST AS AUSTIN WAS BEING CHEERED ON BY THE CROWD. AUSTIN LOOKED LIKE HE MIGHT HIT ONE OF THEM WITH THE STUNNER BUT INSTEAD JUST LEFT THE RING. J.R.: "Well the referee's decision is final and in this case, that decision belongs to Stone Cold Steve Austin". Lawler: "Well Joe Corey did what he set out to do, he defeated Jordan Rockwell one, two, three"! J.R.: "But it still doesn't make him King of the Ring, he still can;t change that". Lawler: "Maybe not, but it's gotta be the biggest win of his career"! Cole: "I can't disagree with that King, but by our scorecards, they are one and one now, one win each". BACKSTAGE....... TRISH IS SHOWN IN THE BACK, PACING BACK AND FORTH. SHE THEN REACHES INTO HER POCKET AND PULLS OUT A RING.... HER WEDDING RING. AFTER LOOKING AT IT FOR A MOMENT, SHE PUTS IT BACK IN HER POCKET BEFORE THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING. J.R.: "Trish Stratus has got to be considered an interested spectator right now, King". Lawler: "And after what we've seen lately, it's hard to tell who she's rooting for"! J.R.: "Well fans, the time is now. The biggest prize in our game is about to be put on the line in what is known as three stages of hell. But before we get to that, let's take a look at what has brought these two men to this moment". A VIDEO PACKAGE STARTS TO ROLL, SHOWING FOOTAGE ALL THE WAY BACK TO BEFORE WRESTLEMANIA 7. AT WRESTLEMANIA 7, A HEAVY UNDERDOG HIGH OCTANE TAPPED OUT TO TRAVIS WAKEMAN AND A NEW WORLD CHAMPION WAS CROWNED. MEANWHILE, THROUGH GIFTS AND VERY PLEASANT BEHAVIOR AROUND HIM, MELINA STILL CAN'T GET WAKEMAN TO GIVE INTO WHAT IT SEEMS SHE REALLY WANTS. ON TWF MAIN EVENT, BATISTA AND WAKEMAN WIN A TAG TEAM MATCH OVER SHANE THOMPSON AND HIGH OCTANE, ALLOWING WAKEMAN TO DECIDE THE STIPULATION FOR STAGE 1 AT MELTDOWN. ON THE MOST RECENT RAMPAGE, WAKEMAN COMES OUT AND ANNOUNCES A SUBMISSIONS ONLY MATCH. HIGH OCTANE COMES OUT WITH A MATCH OF HIS OWN FOR STAGE 2------ NO DISQUALIFICATIONS, FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE. HIGHLIGHTS OF BOTH MEN IN ACTION ARE THEN SHOWN AS "REMEMBER THE NAME" BY FORT MINOR PLAYS WITH IT. BACK TO LIVE ACTION, "MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN HITS AND MELINA COMES OUT FIRST TO MOSTLY BOOS. WAKEMAN FOLLOWS HER OUT AND HE IS WEARING A ROBE MUCH LIKE A BOXER DOES. HIS LAST NAME IS STITCHED ON THE BACK OF THE ROBE AND THE HOOD COMES DOWN OVER HIS EYES. Lawler: "Here we go J.R., this match has taken the form of a heavyweight title fight if you ask me! This is like Ali/Foreman or something"! J.R.: "Well I don't know about that but I do know that this situation between these two great, great athletes has transformed into one of the more complex that I can ever remember. But in any case, here is the challenger. Wakeman weighed in tonight at two hundred and fifty three pounds and he really looks to be in the best condition of his career. But he will have to come up with a career best performance to regain the title tonight". AN ENGINE LOUDLY REVS UP AND "DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS" PLAYS. HIGH OCTANE EMERGES FROM THE BACK WITH THE WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST AND HE IS GIVEN A VERY MIXED REACTION. Lawler: "And what about this guy? Three world title reigns within the course of one year, that's unheard of"! J.R.: "It certainly is unprecedented but with his win at Anarchy Rulz, High Octane seems to have finally shed the underdog tag and there are a lot of people who expect him to win tonight". Lawler: "And there are very few people in the history of the TWF who could be expected to defeat Travis Wakeman but I gotta admit J.R., he has a great shot to instantly make himself a Hall of Famer tonight"! J.R.: "If he hasn't already. The first stage of this match will be submissions only and then we will go directly into a no holds barred street fight but as for stage three, it's yet to even be announced". Lawler: "Well High Octane came up with a big surprise on Rampage and I have a feeling that Mick Foley will have an even bigger one for stage three tonight"! TWF World Title/3 Stages of Hell Match Challenger: Travis Wakeman w/ Melina vs. "High Octane" Damion West Stage 1: Submission Match Referee Jim Korderas was assigned this championship bout and he called for the bell to start it. Wakeman seemed way too sure of himself as the match started and he lunged at West only to catch a kick right in the right shoulder. Wakeman took a frustrated swing but missed everything and Octane hit the ropes, dropkicking him in the back of the knees. It was the opposite of what everyone expected to see as High Octane was the aggressor, stomping at the knees of Wakeman. But wisely, he didn't forget about the shoulder and after an armbar DDT, he locked in a reverse armbar, standing over Wakeman. Wakeman seemed to be in quite a bit of pain but he was able to get to his feet. He tried to break the hold with a whip to the ropes but High Octane stopped himself short of the ropes and just kicked Wakeman in the shoulder again. Wakeman grabbed at the shoulder, leaving himself vulnerable for double leg takedown and from there, High Octane got in a figure four leglock. The crowd seemed very surprised by what they were seeing. Korderas asked Wakeman if he wanted to give up but Wakeman showed no signs of that. He first tried to scoot to the ropes but realized it would be too hard to get there so instead, he turned the move over into it's counter, a version of the Sharpshooter. The pressure was all on High Octane now and Wakeman was able to adjust his position and now had on a full Sharpshooter. But Octane looked as if he would pass out before giving up and hung in the move for almost a minute. Finally, Wakeman let go of the hold and took a few stomps to the lower back. He then pulled Octane up and wheeled him around, throwing him shoulder first into one of the steel ring posts. Octane got himself out but Wakeman was waiting with a backdrop suplex, dumping Octane right on his head. Like a shark smelling blood, Wakeman went over and got on a front facelock. Octane was in a lot of trouble as Wakeman had a ton of leverage. But somehow, the champion was able to get to a vertical position and counter with a northern lights suplex. Both men were on their feet and Octane beat Wakeman to the punch before shooting him to the ropes and hitting a flying back elbow. It looked like Octane wanted to change the pace of the match considerably and he went to the top rope, flying off with a dropkick. But Wakeman caught him by the legs and feet and dropped him to the mat before turning him over with a Boston crab. He was yanking on the hold and putting plenty of pressure on the banged up lower back. When Octane would not give in, Wakeman released the Boston crab and went right into a crossface. High Octane was in a ton of trouble as Wakeman had the same shoulder he threw into the post locked behind his arm. Octane actually looked ready to tap out but for whatever reason, Wakeman released the hold. Melina came over and was about to slap West in the head but Wakeman pointed at her and said "No". Melina didn't seem happy about this and the distraction allowed High Octane to get up and after a dropkick to the back, Octane used a backcracker across his knees to put Wakeman down. Octane then got on a single leg crab and took it into the STF, a great submission hold. But Wakeman was fortunate enough to be right by the ropes and he grabbed them to get a break. Octane pulled Wakeman up and whipped him to the far corner. He then flew in at Wakeman but the challenger moved out of the way. The athletic Octane landed on the middle turnbuckle though and then went to the top rope, coming off with a moonsault. But Wakeman moved and when Octane landed right on his feet, Wakeman caught him with a nasty chopblock and his knee or lower leg actually looked like it could've broke. Wakeman then slapped on the Round Table and although he tried to fight it, Octane had to tap out, giving stage 1 to the challenger. Match Time: 15:41 Lawler: "Ohhhhh, that didn't look good at all"! J.R.: "We need that doctor who was out here earlier to decide if High Octane can continue or not". Lawler: "He has to, there's still two stages to this thing"! Stage 2: No DQs, Falls Count Anywhere The bell sounded to start the next fall and Wakeman looked like he was going to get it over quickly. Octane begged him off, dragging himself around the ring and pointing to his leg. Korderas actually called Wakeman off and Wakeman turned to Melina. High Octane then reached into his boot and pulled out a small can of something. Wakeman turned around and West sprayed it in his face! It looked like the mace that Melina had gotten him with a few weeks ago. Wakeman stumbled around the ring blindly and Octane drilled him with the "Head on Collision". He made the cover for the 1.......2........., but Wakeman kicked out! Not missing a beat, Octane left the ring and grabbed the chair the timekeeper was sitting on. Melina got in Octane's way and he actually threatened to hit her with the chair. He then got on the apron to climb back into the ring but Wakeman kicked the chair into his face, knocking him to the floor. Wakeman had an enraged look on his face as he left the ring and removed the padding from one side of the floor, exposing the concrete underneath. He then picked Octane up and slammed him right on the concrete before grabbing the steel chair and blasting him over the head with it. Octane had been split open as Wakeman rolled him back into the ring. He then reached under the ring and pulled out a black bag. After coming back in, he dumped out it's contents and thousands of thumbtacks covered the mat. Octane was in a lot of trouble as Wakeman looked to powerbomb him right on the island of tacks. But Octane punched his way out and then kicked Wakeman right in the crotch. After setting Wakeman up in the tree of woe in the corner, West grabbed the steel chair and ran across the ring, dropkicking the chair right into Wakeman's face. As Wakeman slid off the turnbuckle, Octane made the cover for the 1..........2........., but that was it. Melina decided to get up on the apron and she took a swing but West caught her hand. Just then, a cheer came from the crowd as Trish Stratus came out and ripped Melina off the mat, striking her with some hard forearm shots. In the ring, Octane picked up the chair but he turned into a hard clothesline by Wakeman. Wakeman then picked up the chair and tried to smash the champion in the corner but Octane fell to a seated position and all Wakeman got was the top turnbuckle pad. Octane took him down with a back footsweep and then he got the chair, blasting Wakeman over the back and shoulders with it. Octane then went to the top rope, looking to fly but Wakeman got up and punched him in the stomach before grabbing him by the left arm and flinging him off, right into the pile of tacks! Octane withered in pain as hundreds of tacks stuck out from his back, arms, legs and even the back of his head. Showing absolutely no mercy, Wakeman grabbed the chair and smashed Octane over the head and it looked like the knockout blow. But Wakeman wasn't done. He left the ring, pulling West under the bottom rope. He then laid him across the PrimeTime announce table, removing the monitors in it as Michael Cole and Jesse Ventura scrambled for higher ground. Wakeman then went back in and climbed to the top turnbuckle before launching himself off, slamming into Octane with a legdrop. An incredible cheer came out of the crowd as Octane fell limp to the floor. Meanwhile, the women continued to brawl at the top of the ramp and Melina pushed Trish into a metal part of the set and the Canadian bombshell struck her head on it. Wakeman was able to pull Octane out of the rubble that was the announce table and he covered High Octane for the 1..........2..........3. Match Time: 8:08 Lawler: "He did it! We're not even gonna need the third stage J.R."! J.R.: "But what we do need is an ambulance, maybe for both of these guys! This is an incredible scene and Travis Wakeman has once again become TWF World champion"! "MAKE WAY" PLAYED AND WAKEMAN CRAWLED UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE INTO THE RING. THERE HE FOUND MELINA WAITING AND SHE HANDED HIM THE BELT. THE TWO LOOKED AT EACH OTHER FOR A MOMENT AND THEN WAKEMAN PULLED MELINA IN CLOSE, GLADLY KISSING HER. Lawler: "Oh my gosh.... look at this"! TRISH LOOKED ON IN HORROR AS WAKEMAN FINALLY PULLED AWAY FROM MELINA AND RAISED HIS BELT UP. J.R.: "What are we witnessing?! Has Wakeman finally taken to Melina"! Lawler: "It looks like Travis Wakeman has turned a page of sorts here J.R."! J.R.: "Well we hope you've all enjoyed MeltDown.... good night everybody"!
