THE TWF LOGO APPEARS ON THE SCREEN FOLLOWED BY THE COPYRIGHT INFORMATION. THE SCREEN THEN FADES TO BLACK. AS THE THEME MUSIC FOR MELTDOWN HITS, A BURNING CANDLE APPEARS WITH THE TWF LOGO ON IT. MELTING WAX DRIPS FROM THE CANDLE AS THE FACES OF BAHAMUT AND THE UNDERTAKER APPEAR ON EITHER SIDE FOLLOWED BY THE WAKEMAN ENTERPRISES LOGO AND THE FACES OF JAMAL AND ROSIE. THE NWO LOGO THEN APPEARS ALONG WITH KEVIN NASH's FACE WHILE ROB VAN DAM's FACE APPEARS TO THE RIGHT OF THE CANDLE. THEN, THERE IS AN EXPLOSION AND THE BALL OF FLAMES TURNS INTO A DARK STREET BEING HAMMERED BY RAINDROPS. "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN COMES OUT OF THE SHADOWS FROM ONE END OF THE STREET AND A VOICE ECHOES "DON'T TRUST ANYBODY". SECONDS LATER, TRIPLE H ENTERS FROM THE DARKNESS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET AND A VOICE ECHOES "I AM THAT DAMN GOOD"! THE 2 GET FACE TO FACE AND ARE READY FOR A CLASH WHEN THEY BOTH LOOK UP TO SEE A GLOWING RED NEW BREED LOGO AND JORDAN ROCKWELL's VOICE CAN BE HEARD. "MR. SHOWTIME" HAS ARRIVED". THE MELTDOWN LOGO THE APPEARS ON THE SCREEN. Narrator: "And now, TWF Entertainment proudly presents it's Summer spectacular, MeltDown"! THE BLARING LOUD ARENA COMES INTO VIEW AND THE CAMERA LOOKS DOWN ON THE SET WHICH DEPICTS A BLACK DRAGON BREATHING FIRE ONTO THE WORD MELTDOWN. Jim Ross: "Hello TWF fans and welcome to our first of many MeltDown's as we are here live from the Shark Tank in San Jose and King, will this be the biggest event of the Summer"? Jerry Lawler: "If there's one event you don't wanna miss this Summer, it's definitely right here tonight"! J.R.: "Not only will the TWF Title be decided tonight in a triple threat match but we also have four other title matches. Also, for the first time, The King and I will call all the RAW matches while our PrimeTime colleagues Michael Cole and Bobby Heenan will call the PrimeTime matches"! MR. PERFECT's MUSIC HITS AND HE AND CHRISTOPHER NOWINSKI COME OUT TO A LOT OF HEAT. Lawler: "Alright, what a way to start the show"! J.R.: "It's tag team action as you see the most egotistical team I can ever remember bring around coming to the ring". Lawler: "You may not like them J.R., but you have to admit that they make one heck of a team"! CHURCH BELLS RING AS SAM WILDE's MUSIC HITS. HE WALKS DOWN TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RAMP TO A GREAT POP WHEN THE LIGHTS GO DIM AND "IN MY DARKEST HOUR" BY MEGADEATH HITS AS NEMESIS SLOWLY APPEARS IN THE ENTRANCE TO A HUGE CHEER. J.R.: "Listen to this place"! Lawler: "Well J.R. this guy tries to make people feel sorry for him by portraying himself as some sort of tortured soul. I think he singled out Perfect and Nowinski because they are everything he's not"! J.R.: "Oh that's ridiculous King! He realized that Sam Wilde was trying to tell him something all along about Francine and I think he feels like he owes this match to Wilde". Sam Wilde & Nemesis vs. Mr. Perfect & Christopher Nowinski Perfect demanded that referee Mike Sparks check Nemesis for foreign objects. As he did, Perfect and Nowinski jumped Wilde from behind. This allowed them to get an unfair advantage which they used to cut the ring off and they combined to hammer on Wilde for the first 6 minutes of the match. After a shoulder breaker, Nowinski tagged in Perfect. Perfect chopped Wilde across the throat with some hard knifedges. He then whipped him to the ropes but put his head down too early and Wilde made him pay with a swinging neckbreaker. With the crowd's encouragement, Wilde made the hot tag and Nemesis hit the ring, taking on both men. Nemesis caught Nowinski in the corner with a hard clothesline before drilling Perfect with a running boot. Minutes later, Wilde came in and they double clotheslined Perfect out of the ring. But he landed on his feet and pulled Wilde down by his feet and dragged him to the floor. As the two fought up the ramp, Nowinski was being picked apart by Nemesis in the ring. Suddenly, X-Pac and Scott Hall came out of the entry way. As Hall distracted Wilde, X-Pac hit him right in the back of the head with a hammer. Nemesis turned to see what happened and Hall waved at him as he and X-Pac quickly left the scene. This allowed Nowinksi to come from behind and get a shot to the gut when Nemesis turned around which led to the "Honor Roll". Nowinksi hooked the leg deep and got the 1....2....3. Match Time: 10:03 J.R.: "What the hell is the NWO doing out here"? Lawler: "What do you mean J.R., I didn't see anything". J.R.: "Oh gimme a break King! Those two are gonna pay for that I can assure ya"!
BACKSTAGE THE CAMERA SHOWS THE ARENA ENTRANCE AS JORDAN ROCKWELL AND LITA ARRIVE. INSIDE, THE CROWD GOES NUTS. JOHNATHAN COACHMAN APPROACHES. Coachman: "Excuse me, Jordan Rockwell, can I get your thoughts on tonight's main event"? ROCKWELL JUST KEEPS WALKING, TOTALLY IGNORING COACHMAN WHEN LITA COMES BACK. Lita: "Don't take it personal Coach, he just doesn't want anything to break his concentration tonight". LITA WALKS OFF AS COACHMAN IS LEFT STANDING THERE. BACK AT RINGSIDE, JAMIE NOBLE's MUSIC HITS AND HE IS WIDELY BOOED AS HE MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE RAMP. J.R.: "Well folks, the Lightheavyweight title is on the line next and that means it's a PrimeTime match. So we're gonna turn it over now to Michael Cole and Bobby Heenan to call the match". Michael Cole: "Thanks J.R.. Ya know Brain, this is it, we are live from MeltDown and we are gonna call all the PrimeTime matches tonight". Bobby Heenan: "That's right, the better of the two shows and what a match this will be. Here comes the new Lightheavyweight champion"! MATT HARDY's MUSIC BY OUR LADY PEACE HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION. Cole: "Well this man, who won the title at King of the Ring, will have something to say about that"! Heenan: "I'm sure he'll put up a good fight but Noble has everything it takes to be successful and that's gonna be on display tonight"! TWF Lightheavyweight Title Match Challenger... Jamie Noble vs. Matt Hardy Matt Hardy tried to quicken the pace early after turning a side headlock into a whip to the ropes. He then used a shoulder block to knock Noble down. Matt scored with a jumping punch to the head but Noble slipped out of a suplex attempt and used a rollup to get a 2 count. Matt charged him but Noble used a headlock takeover into a japanese armbar to take things down. Noble was determined to use his deliberate, ground based attack, which is unusual for a lightheavyweight, to take the title. He used a neckbreaker drop to get another 2 count. He then went for his "Trailer Hitch" but Matt countered into a small package rollup 1....2...., but Noble escaped. After ducking a clothesline, Matt hit the Side Effect for a long 2 count followed by a hard russian leg sweep. Matt then hit his signature flying middle rope legdrop and hooked the leg deep 1......2....., but again Noble kicked out. Matt couldn't believe it as he shot Noble to the corner. But as he followed in he caught a boot to the face and Noble used a bridge rollup to get another near fall. Noble bounced off the ropes and went for a headscissor takedown but Matt caught him on his shoulders and flung him off. Noble landed on his feet and went for a clothesline but Matt quickly reacted by ducking and kicked Noble in the gut before delivering the "Twist of Fate" to get the 1....2....3 to retain the title. Match Time: 7:22 Cole: "The Twist of Fate has allowed Matt to retain the title but Noble made him earn it"! Heenan: "He sure did, what a match"!
BACKSTAGE... NWO DRESSING ROOM... X-Pac: (laughing) "Did you see that idiot Sam Wilde, I think I put a dent in his head". Scott Hall: (laughing) "Yeah, but that wasn't as good as the look on that idiot Nemesis' face when we left". Kevin Nash: "Hey guys, that's all well and good but we still have a lot of business to take care of tonight. Nails, you still gotta take the Toughman Title and I gotta hand RVD his ass! But have any of you guys looked at the rip off NWO in the GWF"? Nails: "Yeah, those boys are beggin' for an ass whoopin'". Nash: "It'll come. Soon enough, they'll find out the true meaning of New World Order". BACK AT RINGSIDE, 7 COMPETITORS ARE IN THE RING FOR THE RAW BATTLE ROYALE WHEN THE CROWD COMES COMPLETELY UNGLUED AS "REAL AMERICAN" HITS AND HULK HOGAN COMES OUT. J.R.: "Listen to this place and look at the sea of red and yellow here in San Jose"! Lawler: "Hulkamania is a world wide thing J.R. and it's no different here! They love this guy"! J.R.: "Well one of these eight men will have the oppurtunity to either jump to PrimeTime or select someone from PrimeTime to join RAW". RAW Division "Make your choice" Battle Royale As the bell sounded, Strife and Scott Steiner sorted through the crowd and began trading heavy shots as Scott Hall and William Regal teamed up on Sabu. But after catching Regal with a spin kick to the face, Sabu grabbed Hall by the back of the head as he charged and through him to the floor for the first elimination. It took 3 officials to get Hall away from ringside as Regal dug a knee into Sabu's back. Hogan was pounding High Octane in the corner with a series of right hands when Strife ducked a Steiner Line and kicked Steiner right in the face, knocking him over the rope. But Steiner jumped back up on the apron and grabbed Strife, trying to pull him out. As Strife tried to hang on, High Octane came over and dumped the big man to the floor. All the referees tried to seperate Strife and Big Poppa Pump as they brawled all the way backstage. Hogan then launched Sabu high over the rope and to the floor. Regal came over and tried to dump Hogan out but Hogan grabbed the bottom rope for leverage. This allowed High Octane to sneak up from behind and flip Regal over the ropes! It was down to Hogan and High Octane but Regal was still at ringside. He gave Hogan a shot to the back of the head after jumping on the apron. Hogan turned around and took a swipe at Regal but Regal retreated. Hogan turned back around and caught the "Head on Collision" and High Octane then dropkicked Hogan out to win it. J.R.: "Wait a minute, do you believe this? The smallest man entered has won this thing"! Lawler: "I've said it before J.R., High Octane is more than just a lightheavyweight wrestler, this guy has proven he's a superstar time and time again"! J.R.: "Well we will soon find out what he plans to do with his win". BACKSTAGE AS SOON AS THE CAMERA GETS DONE SHOWING A VICTORIOUS HIGH OCTANE AND NIDIA, THE SHOT IMMEDIATELY CUTS TO THE BACK WHERE AT LEAST 10 MEMBERS OF ARENA SECURITY ARE SHOWN SEPERATING THE BRAWL BETWEEN STRIFE AND SCOTT STEINER. Scott Steiner: "You son of a bitch! You just wait till RAW"! Strife: "I'll be waiting punk"! OTHER SIDE OF THE ARENA AN IRATE BRADSHAW MARCHES DOWN THE HALL IN PURSUIT OF SEAN O'DOUL WHEN HE RUNS INTO AUSTIN PYROMANIA AND SCOTT CROSS. Bradshaw: "Hey, do you guys work here"? Austin Pyromania: "Yeah we work here". Bradshaw: "New guys huh? Well then maybe you know where Sean O'Doul is". Scott Cross: "Who"? Bradshaw: "O'Doul". Pyromania: "Sounds like a non alcoholic brew to me". Bradshaw: "It is". Cross: "Oh, you know a little about beer huh"? Bradshaw: "Damn, you are new huh". Pyromania: "Listen man, O'Doul or whatever his name is, we've never heard of him". Bradshaw: "Don't get an attitude with me punk. You two need to get your heads out of your asses and find out what's goin' on"! BRADSHAW WALKS AWAY. Pyromania: "Who is Sean O'Doul"? THE CAMERA SHOWS THE BED OF NAILS AS THE NWO THEME HITS AND FRANCINE, IN HER NWO TANK TOP, LEADS NAILS DOWN THE AISLE. J.R.: "It's time for what could be the most brutal match of all time King"! Lawler: "And it's an interdivisional match so these two aren't fully aware of everything the other is capable of"! VLAD THE IMPALER's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT WITH A BAG FULL OF WEAPONS, THE TWF TOUGHMAN TITLE BELT IS INSIDE IT. J.R.: "Here's a guy I'd love to have on RAW, maybe pound for pound the toughest the TWF has to offer". Lawler: "You sure about that J.R., look at the man standing across the ring wearing a hockey mask". J.R.: "This will only be the second Bed of Nails match in TWF history, Harper Bane beat the Angel of Death in the first, but the rules are simple, the first man to land on that bed of nails, loses". Bed of Nails/TWF Toughman Title Match Challenger... Nails w/Francine vs. Vlad the Impaler These two were out to mame each other and that they did. The two sqaured off in the center of the ring and Vlad got the better of a slugfest, throwing very heavy right hands. After a cradle piledriver on Nails, Francine pulled a toolbox out from under the ring and grabbed a hammer. She slid it into the ring but Vlad stepped on it and kicked it out the other side. But this allowed Nails to come from behind with a low blow. He then pulled out a 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire and hit Vlad right on the left shoulder with it. He went for another swing but Vlad used a superkick, knocking it right into Nails' face, thw wire getting tangled in his stringy black hair. Vlad went out and grabbed the timekeeper's chair and went back in, jabbing it into Nails' ribs several times. He then launched Nails out of the ring but Francine moved the bed of nails, saving a sure defeat. Vlad then came out and stalked Francine around the ring but Nails eventually drew him into a hard clothesline. He then pulled out his fire poker and hit Vlad right between the eyes! Vlad rolled over in pain as blood trickled down the bridge of his nose. Francine then pulled a table out from under the ring as the crowd chanted "We want tables"! He and Francine set the table up together and then with a blowtorch, she set it on fire! But the tough as leather Vlad got up and came back fighting, landing several rights to the head of Nails. But they didn't do too much damage with the hockey mask. Nails grabbed the fire poker and struck Vlad across the shins and then gave him a shot to the gut with the back end. Doubled over in pain, Vlad was hit with a death valley driver. Nails then picked him up and perched him on the top turnbuckle. As the crowd came to their feet, Nails brought him off with a powerbomb right through the flaming table! Both men were down as "HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT"! echoed throughout the crowd. Vlad was completely out as Nails began to stir. He had just enough energy to roll Vlad out of the ring, onto the bed of nails to win it. Vlad quickly got off but his skin was pierced and EMT's ruched down to his aid as Francine took the title and handed it to Nails. Match Time: 5:23 J.R.: "Oh my god! I don't think I've ever seen anything like that in my life"! Lawler: "Look out Francine"! NEMESIS HAD COME OUT AND HE HAD A HAND AROUND FRANCINE's THROAT FOR A CHOKESLAM. HE PICKED HER UP READY TO DROP HER BUT FROM BEHIND CAME NAILS WHO HIT HIM RIGHT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH THE TOUGHMAN TITLE. FRANCINE FELL TO THE MAT AND NAILS GRABBED HER AND THE 2 LEFT IN A HURRY. J.R.: "Oh boy, Nemesis almost sent that girl to hell"! Lawler: "You say that like she deserves it J.R., come on"! J.R.: "Well she's running around with a man who once kidnapped her for god sakes! What the hell is the matter with people? NEMESIS IS SHOWN STEAMING IN THE RING. Oh boy, I sure wouldn't wanna be in Nails or Francine's shoes". Lawler: "Nails is gone! He's got a title win to go celebrate"! BACKSTAGE.... JOHNATHAN COACHMAN IS WITH BAHAMUT. Johnathan Coachman: "Bahamut, later tonight you have perhaps the biggest match of your TWF career against The Undertaker. You already beat The Undertaker once when he was TWF champion. Will you apply the strategy you used that night again tonight"? Bahamut: "To be honest Coach, I'm not really a strategist, whatever happens out there happens. Now I realize The Undertaker has been doing this for many years and he has a pretty impressive win-loss record, but tonight, he's gonna find out what a real legend is made of". "NEVER GONNA STOP" BY ROB ZOMBIE HITS AS EDGE COMES OUT TO A GREAT POP FROM THE CROWD. Cole: "Well RAW had their battle royale and now it's time for ours as you see the other competitors in this match. Same rules apply Brain, the winner here gets to either jump over to RAW or take someone off RAW's roster and bring them to PrimeTime". Heenan: "Well you got Batista and Chris Benoit but I like Rhyno to win this thing. He should've won King of the Ring so I'll pick him here". PrimeTime Division "Make your choice" Battle Royale Chris Michaels and Shawn Stasiak began going at it before the bell rang as John Cena and Dylan Jansens took on Rhyno and Batista, respectively. After Rhyno dumped Cena with a spinebuster and Batista put Jansens down with a hard clothesline, Rhyno went for the "Gore" on Batista but he moved and set Rhyno flailing into the corner. But when Batista turned around, he was knocked over the top rope with the "Sudden Impact" superkick by Michaels. As Michaels taunted Batista, Jansens came from behind and dumped Michaels out. In the next minute, Edge was put out with a Rhyno clothesline and Jansens was eliminated after Stasiak pushed him off the top rope to the floor. Benoit and Stasiak traded shots as Rhyno and Cena went at it. Cena nearly had Rhyno out a couple times but the manbeast hung in there and caught Cena with a hard powerslam. Rhyno went to get involved with Benoit and Stasiak but Cena popped up like a man possessed and whisked Rhyno to the floor! He then traded knifedge chops with Benoit before catching him with a flying forearm and dropping Stasiak with a suplex-powerbomb variation. He then charged Benoit who used a lowbridge with the ropes to eliminate him. Benoit then ducked a Stasiak clothesline and battered his chest with his knifeedge chops. The rabid wolverine was working on Stasiak's arm, trying to set up the Crossface but Stasiak did a great job fighting it off. Benoit then used a go behind and tried for a german suplex but Stasiak blocked it and countered with a back elbow. He then went for a clothesline but Benoit ducked and clotheslined him out of the ring. However, Benoit's own momentum took him over as well. Both men seemed to hit at precisely the same time but referee Jim Korderas raised Stasiak's arm in victory. Cole: "Korderas has given it to Stasiak"! Heenan: "It was tough to tell but I think Benoit landed second"! Cole: "Look at the rabid wolverine, he's furious"! THE REPLAY IS SHOWN FROM 2 DIFFERENT ANGLES. Heenan: "He has every right to be, this is an injustice here"! Cole: "It's hard to make a conclusion from either of those angles but Shawn Stasiak has been declared the winner". J.R.: "Some great action thus far folks and we hope you're enjoying TWF MeltDown as we get set for the Women's title match but let's take a look at the next time we will bring you pay-per-view action". SCENES FROM THE WORLD TRADE CENTER SITE FROM SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 ARE SHOWN WITH AN OLD WAR SONG. Narrator: "One year later, through the lives lost and the painful memories, America has moved on. Though nothing will ever be the same, America has learned a valuable lesson. The TWF has also moved on and this September, we pay our respect to those involved in last year's tradgedy with When World's Collide. All proceeds go to the disaster relief fund and to the families who lost a loved one. So join us on pay-per-view when we travel to Madision Square Garden for what will truly be a memorable night in TWF history". BACKSTAGE.... HIGH OCTANE's DRESSING ROOM.... NIDIA GIVES HIGH OCTANE A HUGE HUG AS HE POURS HIMSELF ANOTHER GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE. Nidia: "Oh baby, you did it. I knew you could do it. Now, we have a big decision to make, what's it gonna be"? High Octane: "Well baby, tonight, I just wanna sit back and cherish the moment before I think about any of that but trust me, I'll make it good". Nidia: "Oh you always do". SHE THEN STICKS HER TONGUE DOWN HIS THROAT AS THE SCENE SHIFTS BACK TO RINGSIDE. JESSICA LOPEZ' MUSIC HITS AND SHE COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION. Lawler: "Alright, the puppies match! Wait, Akasha's in it, never mind". J.R.: "You're right King. This match isn't for sex appeal. These two can flat get down to business and that's exactly what they're gonna do". THE LIGHTS DIM AND THE IMAGE OF A BLACK CLOUD ENGULFS THE ENTIRE SET AS AKASHA's MUSIC HITS. SHE STEPS THROUGH THE CLOUD WITH THE WOMEN's TITLE AROUND HER WAIST. Lawler: "This may be the only female in the history of this company that I don't like". J.R.: "Like her or not, she's one of the best female competitors in the world and she's in the ring with a former women's champion tonight, a woman who four weeks ago beat Akasha in a non title match. This time, it's for all the marbles". TWF Women's Title Match Challenger.... Jessica Lopez vs. Akasha Arguably the best match of the night, these two ladies topped their first match with a hell of a performance. Lopez used a similar attack as she did in their previous encounter, using her speed and quickness to throw the powerful women's champion off. Lopez stayed out of arms reach with several leg kicks before hitting a nice bulldog for a 2 count. Akasha was in a world of trouble early but finally caught Lopez with a back elbow as she came off the ropes. But she missed an elbow drop and Lopez used a schoolgirl rollup for a 1....2...., but Akasha's legs helped her to power out. Lopez then used a go behind and ran her into the ropes and rolled her up 1......2...., but Akasha was up just in time. Flustered, Akasha clotheslined Lopez when she got up. But Lopez turned a scoop slam attempt into a small package for another 2 count before catching her right on the button with a dropkick. Lopez then went to the ropes for a moonsault but Akasha got her knees up into her gut. She then backed her to the corner and used her heels on her boots to choke Lopez before dropping her with a snap suplex. Akasha made the cover 1.....2...., but Jessica got a shoulder up. She then whipped her to the ropes but put her head down to early and Lopez used a sunset flip 1......2......, but somehow at the last second Akasha escaped. Lopez thought sure she had 3. Akasha threw a wild clothesline but Lopez ducked and bounced off the ropes. She went for a hurracanrana but Akasha blocked it with a counter powerbomb, slamming the back of Lopez' head on the mat. She then hit the "Cloud of Darkness" to put her away and retain the gold. Match Time: 8:51 J.R.: "Oh my what a match! Lopez gave her all she wanted in that one"! Lawler: "Look J.R., she's helping her up"! AKASHA EXTENDED HER HAND AND HELPED LOPEZ OFF THE MAT. SHE THEN RAISED JESSICA's ARM A THE CROWD CHEERED. BUT WHEN LOPEZ TURNED AROUND, AKASHA DRILLED HER WITH A CLOTHESLINE IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD. J.R.: "Oh I knew she was gonna do that! You can't give some of these people too much credit King"! Lawler: "Wow what a shot! I think she's sent a strong message to Miss Lopez tonight and the rest of the women in the TWF for that matter"! BACKSTAGE.... THE DOOR TO THE NEW BREED DRESSING ROOM OPENS AND OUT STEPS JORDAN ROCKWELL. HE STARTS TO WALK DOWN THE HALL WHEN HE RUNS INTO TRIPLE H. Triple H: "There you are. Listen Rockwell, you and I both know that you don't belong in that match tonight. So I'm gonna give you a chance to make it easy on yourself and just sit back here and take notes. Cause I'm gonna go out there and hurt Austin, bad. If you wanna be part of that, that's fine. I'm just suggesting that you take notes for when the time comes that you actually deserve an oppurtunity like this. The choice is yours". ROCKWELL JUST GRINS AS TRIPLE H WALKS PAST HIM. BACK AT RINGSIDE, THE NWO THEME HITS AS KEVIN NASH COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION BUT SOME OF THE FANS SEEM TO REALLY LIKE HIM. J.R.: "Here comes the so called leader of the NWO King and this is one of the matches I've really been lookin' forward to". Lawler: "So have I! I can't wait to see RVD get beat up by Big Sexy". "ONE OF A KIND" HITS AS ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT TO ONE OF THE BIGGEST POPS OF THE NIGHT. HE STOPS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RAMP AND DOES HIS THUMBS TO THE SHOULDERS ROUTINE WHILE THE CROWD CHANTS "R-V-D"! J.R.: "They love Van Dam here in San Jose and everywhere else in the world for that matter"! Lawler: "I think Kevin Nash has a few ideas on what he'd like to do with those thumbs"! J.R.: "There's a major size descrepancy and a major power descrepancy but RVD's got a heart which can't be measured and I think he's gonna pull this one off tonight". Kevin Nash vs. Rob Van Dam In a seesaw match, the crowd really got their money's worth here. Nash started it out with a knee to the gut followed by a hard elbow to the back of the head. He grounded RVD with his power attack. He then hung him over the middle ring rope and bounced off the other side, crushing the back of his head with his leg. Nash then went for a big elbow drop but couldn't find the mark as RVD rolled out of the way. RVD then backed Nash to the corner with a spin kick to the jaw followed by a backflip into a diving shoulder to the mid section. RVD then went for a monkey flip but Nash held onto him, turned around and then set him on the top rope. He then brought him down with a chokeslam as the crowd couldn't believe the impact. He made the cover but RVD was up at 2. Nash then picked him up on his shoulder and delivered the snake eyes. He then put him in the corner and drove his hard elbows into the side of RVD's head before whipping him to the ropes and catching him with a big boot. Nash made a nonchalant cover and got 1......2...., but there was still some fight in RVD as he kicked out. The crowd started to get behind RVD as Nash raised one arm, signaling for the Jacknife powerbomb. He lifted RVD up but RVD slipped off his shoulders and caught Nash with a savot kick to the chops. Spit flew out of Big Sexy's mouth as RVD bounced off the ropes and drilled him with the Rolling Thunder. RVD rolled him over and made a lateral press 1......2...., but no, Nash got a shoulder up. They got to their feet and Nash tried for a back suplex but RVD slipped off his shoulders with a backflip. Nash tried for a big kick but RVD caught his leg and nailed him with the step over heel kick. RVD then leaped to the top rope quick as a cat and hit the "5 Star Frogsplash" to get the 1.....2.....3! Match Time: 10:04 J.R.: "Just like that, RVD has done it"! Lawler: "How'd Nash let that one slip away? He had him"! J.R.: "RVD is an amazing athlete and he has put the first blemish on the NWO's night"! BACKSTAGE.... MATT HARDY's DRESSING ROOM.... MATT HARDY IS IN HIS DRESSING ROOM UNLACING HIS BOOTS WHEN HIS BROTHER, JEFF HARDY COMES IN. Jeff Hardy: "Hey Matt". Matt Hardy: "Ah, what's up Jeff"? THE TWO SHAKE HANDS AND GIVE EACH OTHER A HUG. Jeff: "Not much man, just wanted to say congratulations, you looked great out there". Matt: "Well, let me just say that Jamie Noble is a much tougher opponent than I expected, but I least I hung on to this". MATT PATS THE LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE WHICH IS DRAPED OVER HIS SHOULDER. Jeff: "Yeah, keep it up man". Matt: "Alright Jeff, hang in there, things will come your way on RAW". Jeff: "I hope so man". JEFF WALKS OUT OF THE ROOM. BACK AT RINGSIDE, THE NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING LOGO APPEARS ON THE TWF TRON AS NJPW PRESIDENT TATSUMI FUJINAMI MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE RAMP. Lawler: "Look at this J.R.! What's he doing here"? J.R.: "That's Japanese legend Tatsumi Fujinami folks but you're guess is as good as mine King. He's got a mic so it looks like he's gonna talk". Tatsumi Fujinami: (in broken english) "Hello fans of the TWF. THE FANS LOUDLY CHEER. It is my pleasure to be here tonight. At this time, I would like to ask Muta and Masahiro Chono to come out". Lawler: "What"? J.R.: "He's calling out Muta and Chono". JUST THEN, THEY BOTH APPEAR IN THE ENTRANCE. Fujinami: "There you are". Masa Chono: "What is this about"? Fujinami: "This is about where you two came from. You two are two of the best ever in Japan. Muta, you have done it all and Chono, you have are one of the best I've seen. But the people of Japan have to watch you on this show, forgetting about all of that. I respect this company greatly but I can't respect you two wearing the colors of the NWO. You two were made in Japan and you have forgotten that. Soon, it will be time to pay". J.R.: "Well I don't know what Fujinami is referring to but whatever it is, it doesn't sound good for Muta and Chono". BACKSTAGE CAMERAS PICK UP BRADSHAW WHO IS STILL ON THE SEARCH FOR SEAN O'DOUL. HE TURNS THE CORNER AND BUMPS INTO AN ONCOMING BATISTA. Bradshaw: "Hey, you got a problem"? Batista: "If I did, what are you gonna do about it"? Bradshaw: "I'm lookin gfor a guy named Sean O'Doul. You know where I can find him"? Batista: "Oh, you mean the guy who threw Faarooq off the ramp on PrimeTime, no, I don't know where he is". Bradshaw: "I should've known better than to ask someone who can't even find their own brain". BRADSHAW TURNS TO WALK AWAY BUT BATISTA CLUBS HIM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD. HE THEN THROWS HIM HARD INTO THE WALL AND WALKS AWAY, LEAVING BRADSHAW LAYING. BACK AT RINGSIDE, THE ISLAND BOYZ' MUSIC HITS AND JAMAL AND ROSIE STEP OUT TO A HUGE POP. Cole: "It's time for the tag team title match and this should be a dandy Brain as these two try and become the quickest tag team champions in the history of the TWF"! "MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN HITS AS WAKEMAN ENTERPRISES COMES OUT WITH THE TAG TEAM TITLES AROUND THEIR WAIST LED BY TRISH. Cole: "Well they're gonna face in a lot of people's estimation the best duo ever formed in this company. But just wait till you see some of the offense from The Island Boyz fans! These guys have an unreal arsenal of moves"! Heenan: "Well Wakeman and Lesnar can dish it out but they can take it too". TWF Tag Team Title Match Challengers.... The Island Boyz vs. Wakeman Enterprises w/Trish The Island Boyz looked great to start things as they proved they were ready for a big match. They isolated Wakeman, who at 6'5", 255 pounds was the smallest man in the match. Jamal backed him to the corner with a barrage of right hands before Rosie came in with an avalanche splash. Lesnar continuosly tried to get in and give Wakeman a hand but each time, referee Mike Chioda got in his way and the Island Boyz took advantage by double teaming. But after ducking a clothesline off an irish whip, Wakeman kicked Rosie in the gut and hit a hard ddt. That bought him enough time to get over and make the tag to Lesnar who came in and hit Rosie with some serious shoulder thrusts to the gut. Lesnar then went for a powerbomb but Rosie countered with a backdrop and tagged in Jamal. Jamal came in and hit Lesnar with several straight rights before Lesnar blocked one and took him down in one solid motion with a judo foot sweep. He then picked him up and delivered a gutwrench but only gut a 2 count. Lesnar slowed down the pace by digging his boot into the throat of Jamal, taking every second of Chioda's 5 count before relinquiching the hold. After a hard clothesline, Lesnar brought in the well rested Wakeman who came in and began working on Jamal's lower back. After driving his knee into his back several times, Wakeman picked the big guy up and delivered a side backbreaker. Wakeman whipped him to the corner and slowly walked in, chopping away at Jamal's chest with some hard knifedge's. He then tried to whip him back but Jamal reversed it and came in with a reverse avalanche but Wakeman moved and delivered an inverted atomic drop. He then used a backsweep takedown and locked in the Sharpshooter in the center of the ring. Jamal's hand was up and he was ready to tap out when Rosie made the save just in time. Lesnar then got in and clotheslined Jamal as Wakeman slipped out of the ring and got a steel chair. He brought it in as Trish jumped on the apron. Chioda screamed at her to get down when Rosie superkicked her off the apron! Wakeman went to check on Trish as Rosie picked up the chair and drilled Lesnar in the back of the head with it and Chioda saw nothing. Jamal then went up top for his high rise splash and he nailed it, knocking all the wind out of Lesnar and picking up the 3 count. Match Time: 20:22 Heenan: "No way! No way, that was not fair! Reverse this decision"! Cole: "Well unfortunately for Wakeman Enterprises, the TWF doesn't have instant replay and they just got a taste of their own medicine! We have new tag team champs"! Triple Threat/TWF Title Match Intercontinental Champion Jordan Rockwell w/Lita vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. TWF Champion Triple H This one will long be remembered by TWF fans as it was one hell of a match. All 3 men exhibited great conditioning in the 40+ minute brawl. Austin and Rockwell started the match working as a unit to try and weaken the champ but after a double clothesline, Austin turned and hit Rockwell with a sucker punch. Triple H then came over and he and Austin stomped Rockwell in the corner. Rockwell smartly slid out of the ring to regroup as Austin and Triple H turned on each other and slugged it out in the center of the ring. After knocking Triple H down, Austin went for a clothesline but Triple H ducked and scored with a ddt after a kick to the gut. Triple H then went outside after Rockwell. After ramming Rockwell face first into the steel post, Triple H grabbed an electrical cord and began choking Rockwell. But Austin was up and he came outside and hit Triple H with a hard clothesline. He then clotheslined Rockwell over the steel barricade and the fight spilled into the crowd. Austin and Rockwell traded shots through the sea of fans, all the way up to the second level while the game lay in the ring gaining valuable resting time. Austin led Rockwell down the stairs and then tossed him over the barricade but when he got in the ring, Triple H was waiting with a double axe handle to the back of the head. Triple H then tried to soften up Austin's knees and went for a cover after each move, getting 5 two counts. But Austin bounced back an caught Triple H with a hard spinebuster as he came off the ropes. Rockwell got back into it and hit Austin with a savot kick which knocked him into the corner. Rockwell then climbed up on the middle rope and behind the count of the crowd, laid into Austin. 1.....2.....3......4......5, but Austin retaliated by grabbing Rockwell around the legs, making a step forward and falling back for a version of the snake eyes. But when Austin got up, Triple H kicked him in the gut and hit the Pedigree. Triple H hooked the leg 1......2...., but Austin somehow kicked out! Triple H then shot him to the ropes but Austin landed the Thesz press and began wailing away on the side of the game's head. Triple H pushed him off and slid out of the ring as Jordan Rockwell came over with a cactus clothesline on Austin. He tried to kick Austin when he got up but Austin caught his leg, spun him around and hit the Stunner! Austin was slow to make the cover and finally, he got an arm over Rockwell as referee Earl Hebner made the count 1.....2....., but Triple H just got in to make the save. Triple H went for an irish whip but Rockwell reversed him right into Hebner and the two collided hard. Triple H ducked a Rockwell clothesline and hit his duck under neckbreaker. He then reached under the ring and pulled out his sledge hammer. As Austin came over, Triple H gave him a shot to the ribs with the hammer and then one to the head. Austin rolled out onto the apron and tried to use the ring ropes to help him get up but Triple H knocked him to the fllor with another hammer shot. Triple H then looked at his hammer and smiled as boos filled the arena. He turned around with the hammer above his head but Rockwell was lying in wait. He kicked Helmsley hard in the stomach and the hammer fell to the mat. Rockwell then delivered a fisherman suplex and locked his hands tight as Hebner was up in time to count the 1.....2......3.
