THE SCENE OPENS SHOWING THE OUTSIDE OF THE PALACE, HOME OF THE DETROIT PISTONS AND THEN GOES INSIDE WHERE IDALIS IS SHOWN FROM ONE OF THE ARENA SKYBOXES. Idalis: "Hello everybody and welcome to the show before the show. Here on Uprising, we are going to set the stage for Foul Play, the annual Spring event here which is exclusive to PrimeTime. Tonight, you will see Batista defend the Universal title he won against Edge at WrestleMania against the Rated R superstar and as we've seen in recent weeks, Edge seems to have formed some sort of alliance with Rene Dupree and Dawn Marie so the animal will have to be prepared tonight. But in addition to that, Ken Kennedy will be cashing in the new year's resolution he won way back in the New Year's battle royale for an Intercontinental title against Heidenreich. Plus, Jordan Rockwell and Christian, two men who have been on again, off again friends, will team together to battle the new union of JBL and Chaos Wolf, Rockwell's former New Breed follower. It is obviously going to be a huge night folks and we only have about fifteen minutes until the opening bell so if you haven't already done so, make sure you order this huge event now! A PROMO GRAPHIC WITH THE UPRISING LOGO IS SHOWN. ON ONE SIDE IS EDDIE SAINT JAMES AND JAMES MITCHELL AND ON THE OTHER IS CHRIS PLATOON. A COMMERCIAL FOR SUBWAY IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A FINAL PROMO FOR FOUL PLAY WHICH RUNS DOWN THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS ON THE CARD. RETURN FROM BREAK...... RINGSIDE..... AS SOON AS UPRISING RETURNS, THE SHOT IS INSIDE THE PALACE WHICH IS QUICKLY FILLING UP AS "NO LEAF CLOVER" BY METALLICA HITS AND EDDIE SAINT JAMES COMES OUT WITH JAMES MITCHELL WHO IS IN A BRIGHT RED SUIT. Michael Cole: "We are all set for TWF Foul Play and we are kicking things off with Eddie Saint James and Satan"! Jesse Ventura: "Come on now, I'd say that was a little harsh". Cole: "Why is that partner? I think Mitchell would take that as a compliment"! "FIREFLY" BY BREAKING BENJAMIN PLAYS CHRIS PLATOON TO THE RING AND HE GETS A GOOD REACTION. Ventura: "Perhaps he would, but I wouldn't call him that unless he gives you permission too". Cole: "Well anyway, we know Chris Platoon has had his problems with these guys ever since he tried to convince Vlad the Impaler not to fall under their power. That's what ya get for being a good friend these days I guess"! Ventura: "All Vlad did was make the smart move and if Platoon had the same chance, he'd be standing out here with Mitchell and the Saint right now"! Eddie Saint James w/ James Mitchell vs. Chris Platoon After a back and forth matchup, Platoon was able to takek control after a facebuster to the knee and a huge clothesline. He then lifted The Saint to the top rope but Saint James blocked a superplex attempt and pushed Platoon to the mat before flying off with a clothesline. But it only got him a 2 count and moments later, Platoon caught Saint James charging in with a spinebuster and then pulled James Mitchell into the ring when he got to the apron. Vlad the Impaler came running out and Platoon caught him with a stiff right hand that knocked him right back to the floor. But when he turned around, The Saint got him up and dropped him with the "Death to Humanity" and that did it. Match Time: 8:53 Ventura: "He got him Michael! Another win for James Mitchell and his men"! Cole: "James Mitchell and The Saint are nothing but brainwashers! I can't believe that Vlad doesn't see that"! Ventura: "Sometimes people get tired of losing Cole and I'm sure that was the case with Vlad. All he did was make a choice to improve his career, how can you blame him for that"? "NO LEAF CLOVER" PLAYED AND MITCHELL RAISED THE ARMS OF BOTH SAINT JAMES AND VLAD AS THE CROWD BOOED. Cole: "Folks we are just moments away from Foul Play and we will now be switching over to our Pay-Per-View channel! Enjoy the show"! THE TWF ENTERTAINMENT LOGO FLASHES ACROSS THE SCREEN AFTER THE COPYRIGHT INFO IS SHOWN. THE CHALKLINE POLICE USE TO OUTLINE A BODY IS SHOWN ON A DARK STREET. WITNESSES ARE EVERYWHERE, TALKING WITH POLICE. THE AUDIO VOICEOVER BEGINS TO SPEAK. IT IS DISGUISED AS SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BE RECOGNIZED. Voice Over: "What happens to a man when he can longer control his emotions? HIGHLIGHTS OF BOTH RANDY ORTON AND BAHAMUT IN ACTION ARE SHOWN INCLUDING BAHAMUT HITTING ORTON WITH A STEEL CHAIR AS THE THEME FOR FOUL PLAY, "LIFE WASTED" BY PEARL JAM BEGINS TO PLAY. When his mind goes into a state of darkness? DUSTIN KASH AND SEAN O'HAIRE ARE SHOWN IN KASH's DEBUT MATCH. What happens when doing the right thing isn't an option to him? EDGE AND RENE DUPREE ARE SHOWN TALKING ABOUT TRYING TO RUN BATISTA OVER. Will it be worth it in the end........ or will those decisions be full of regret"? THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE CRIME SCENE. ONE OF THE MANY POLICE OFFICERS COMES UP TO THE LEAD CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATOR AND THEY JUST SHAKE THEIR HEADS AS THE TWF LOGO APPEARS IN A FLASHING BLUE COLOR ON THE CHALKLINE. THE SHOT THEN GOES INSIDE THE ARENA AND SHOWS THE FOUL PLAY SET WHICH HAS THE LOGO SUSPENDED ABOVE THE VIDEO TRON. THE STAGE IS SET LIKE A CRIME SCENE WITH THE CHALK OUTLINE AND SEVERAL YELLOW MARKERS WITH LETTERS ON THEM, AS IF TO SIGNIFY SOME SORT OF EVIDENCE. FIREWORKS AND PYRO BLAST OFF FOR ABOUT 15 SECONDS, SENDING THE CROWD INTO AN UPROAR. Michael Cole: "We are live from the Palace in Auburn Hills for the sixth annual edition of TWF Foul Play and partner, it's only PrimeTime in the house tonight"! Jesse Ventura: "Six huge matches tonight Michael and three of them will be for titles"! "MISTERRRRRRR KENNEDY" IS HEARD AND KEN KENNEDY COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION. Cole: "Ken Kennedy was the man who won the New Year's battle royale which has become a TWF tradition. That was almost four months ago and tonight, he is using his resolution to challenge for the Intercontinental title"! Ventura: "2006 has already been a great year for Mr. Kennedy and if he can add the Intercontinental title to his resume, it may be remembered as the year of Kennedy"! "DANGEROUS POLITICS" HITS AND HEIDENREICH COMES OUT TO A PRETTY STRONG REACTION WITH THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. Cole: "He may be one of the more unlikely Intercontinental champions ever, but Heidenreich is the man that ended the reign of Sean O'Haire that lasted over a year so I don't think he'd be worried about your claim that 2006 could be the year of Kennedy"! Ventura: "Wait a minute, Kennedy's got the mic"! Ken Kennedy: "Howard Finkel, I'll take it from here. Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the TWF Intercontinental championship! Introducing the challenger....... I hail from Green Bay, Wisconsin..... I weign in at an astronomical two hundred and forty eight pounds........ Misterrrrrrr Kennedy! (he walks to one of the turnbuckles) Kennedy"! Ventura: "What an introduction for the challenger". Kennedy: "And my opponent, he weighs in tonight at three hundred and twenty pounds and he hails from the hurricane ravaged city of New Orleans, Louisiana..... he is......... JUST THEN, HEIDENREICH CHARGES AND DRILLS KENNEDY WITH A CLOTHESLINE, KNOCKING THE MICROPHONE OUT OF HIS HAND. Cole: "Oh Heidenreich had enough and I don't blame him! Kennedy just made a really stupid remark"! Ventura: "This match should already be thrown out, Heidenreich just hit Kennedy with the microphone"! TWF Intercontinental Title Match Challenger: Ken Kennedy vs. Heidenreich After the shot with the microphone, Heidenreich had a clear advantage over the challenger. After shooting him to the ropes, he lifted Kennedy into the air with a backbody drop. Kennedy got up and backed into the corner but had the presence of mind to get out of the way as Heidenreich charged in with a clothesline. Kennedy then went on the attack, kicking Heidenreich in the knees before clubbing him in the back of the head a couple times. Kennedy then tried to lift Heidenreich to the top turnbuckle but he was just too big and Heidenreich nailed him with a kneelift. He then ran him over with a clothesline before lifting him up and dropping him with a sidewalk slam. Heidenreich then showed a real mean streak, ramming his knee into the small of Kennedy's back. After getting to his feet, Heidenreich shouted something to the crowd who cheered but when he went back to his opponent, Kennedy got in a thumb to the eye before pulling the champ to the mat with a DDT. Kennedy then pulled Heidenreich up and rammed his head into the top turnbuckle multiple times. From there, he again tried to lift him to the top rope, seemingly for the "Lambeau Leap" but his back gave out on him. Heidenreich then adjusted himself and picked Kennedy up, swinging him around and driving him into the mat with a scrapbuster slam. Heidenreich made the cover and got the 1........2........3. Match Time: 5:03 Cole: "Heidenreich has retained the title and I would suggest partner that the comments Kennedy made before the match lit a fire inside the champion"! Ventura: "You've really gotta hand it to Heidenreich! He came out here and took the challenge and he beat Kennedy with relative ease"! WITH HIS MUSIC PLAYING, HEIDENREICH TURNED TO THE CROWD FROM THE TOP OF THE RAMP AND RAISED THE TITLE UP IN HIS RIGHT ARM. BUT THOSE CHEERS QUICKLY TURNED TO BOOS WHEN HEIDENREICH WAS HIT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD BY THE STAFF OF MORDECAI. Cole: "Oh, what the hell was that"?! Ventura: "The pale rider has attacked the champion! Heidenreich is hurt"! MORDECAI RAISED HIS STAFF AS AN EXPLOSION OF FLAMES CAME OFF THE STAGE. Cole: "The stage tonight is set like a crime scene and with good reason! Mordecai has just assaulted Heidenreich"! Ventura: "And in the process, I believe his laid his own claim to the Intercontinenal title"! BACKSTAGE AREA....... CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW AXL IRVIN AND RIC FLAIR INSIDE A DRESSING ROOM. Axl Irvin: "I don't know Naitch, Traci has come out with me for every match since her and I got together". Ric Flair: "Look man, I'm just saying think about it. If we win the titles tonight, it'll be without Traci. If we don't win, it'll mean she was involved. I've been around this business a lot of years man, I know what to expect. I'll see ya out there". FLAIR WALKS AWAY AS AXL JUST LOOKS ON. WITH THE SHOT BACK AT RINGSIDE, THE STEEL CAGE IS SHOWN BEING LOWERED FROM THE CEILING AND SURROUNDING THE RING. "BURN IN MY LIGHT" BY MERCY DRIVE HITS AND RANDY ORTON COMES OUT TO A CHORUS OF BOOS. Cole: "Just before WrestleMania 7, Randy Orton took a shot at Rampage superstar Strife, the longtime tag team partner of Bahamut and as we've seen over the last few weeks partner, it's led into a war between the two men"! Ventura: "Randy Orton defeated Bahamut once and in the rematch last week, we saw Bahamut hit Orton with a steel chair, clearly due to the fact that he knows he can't beat him"! POWERMAN 5000's "BOMBSHELL" HITS AND BAHAMUT COMES OUT FROM BEHIND THE CURTAIN TO A BIG POP. Cole: "Well I don't know if I'd say that, Orton had been getting away with illegal tactics all match and Bahamut just lost his cool". Ventura: "This match will be held inside the steel cage and if you haven't already noticed Michael, they're using the old style cage, the one from my haydays in the ring"! Cole: "That blue cage will take the place of the chain link fence style structure that we are used to seeing but I doubt it matters to either Bahamut or Orton! This match is all about destroying the other guy and ending this situation with a dominant performance"! Steel Cage Match Randy Orton vs. Bahamut Winning this match could occur by either escaping the cage, pinfall or submission. Neither man seemed very interested in trying to get out early as they traded shots in the middle of the ring. After 4 punches by both men, Orton took a swing but Bahamut blocked it and kicked Orton in the midsection before tossing Orton face first into the steel. He then got a running start and kicked Orton in the back of the head, forcing his head into the cage. Orton went down and looked out as Bah made the cover but he only got a 2 count. Bahamut picked Orton up but Orton got in a lowblow before catching him with the "RKO". With blood streaming down his face from a cut on his forehead, Orton slowly rolled into a cover as referee Mickie Henson made the 1..........2.........., but Bahamut got a shoulder off the mat. Orton couldn't believe it, arguing with Henson. Bahamut got to his feet and Orton drilled him with 2 european uppercuts before whipping him to the cage. Orton then flew in with a crossbody but Bahamut showed great strength by catching him in mid air before using a fallaway slam to throw him into the cage. Bahamut then picked Orton up and delivered a running powerbomb. The crowd was convinced it was over but let out a collective "Oh" as Orton kicked out. Orton was in a lot of pain though, having landed on his right shoulder. He squirmed around on the mat as Bahamut made his way up the cage, looking for the escape. He was about 3/4 of the way to the top when Orton got up, holding his shoulder. But he was still able to get to the top turnbuckle and slow Bahamut down with 2 punches to the stomach. Bah fired back with 2 shots to the top of the head but in what seemed like a move out of desperation, Orton grabbed Bahamut around the head and neck and pulled him from the cage, flying through the air with the "RKO"! The fans chanted "Holy Shit", even the ones who'd earlier shown their disdain for Orton and he covered Bahamut with one arm over the chest as Henson issued the 3 count. Match Time: 5:24 Cole: "Are you kidding me?! Randy Orton just delivered an RKO from at least fifteen feet in the air"! Ventura: "Bahamut might need some reconstruction on some of his facial features after that because that was just incredible"! "BURN IN MY LIGHT" PLAYED AGAIN AND ORTON LEFT THE RING AS THE CAGE RAISED, BUT HE WAS STILL HOLDING HIS SHOULDER. Cole: "As with all cage matches, there really are no winners, just a survivor and tonight, Randy Orton has survived"! Ventura: "But it looks like it may've come at a cost because he is really favoring that shoulder"! BACKSTAGE........ IDALIS IS SHOWN WITH DUSTIN KASH AND SEAN O'HAIRE. Idalis: "Okay guys, in just a few minutes, Dustin Kash, you will make your first appearance on TWF Pay-Per-View when you try to prove that you're not afraid of the Boogeyman. So with that being....... Dustin Kash: "What did you say? I don't have to prove anything. Why would I be afraid of the Boogeyman? Because he eats worms? Because he foams at the mouth? Come on, this guy is the biggest joke in the TWF and tonight, I'm gonna take him out for good"! Sean O'Haire: "You see Idalis, Dustin Kash is the man that people should really be scared of. Dustin Kash is the man more likely to be hiding in your closet, more likely to be under your bed and much more likely to be in your nightmares. After tonight, there will be no more Boogeyman and we will give these people and everyone else around here...... something to really be afraid of". KASH AND O'HAIRE WALK AWAY AS THE SHOT GOES TO SHANE McMAHON's OFFICE WHERE JOHNNY HAZARD IS SHOWN WITH 4 FEMALES, BETTER KNOWN AS THE HAREM. Shane McMahon: "Johnny, I see your point, but none of these ladies are under TWF contract. I can't provide protection for them and I won't be able to do something if one of them gets hurt. So...... Johnny Hazard: "Don't even say it Shane. Before I showed up on PrimeTime, I told you what I would bring to the table. Rampage wanted me just as bad, but I chose PrimeTime. Especially with this guy Taylor Made going around thinking he's God's gift to women...... well I'm here to prove he's not. SHANE TRIES TO GET A WORD OUT BUT IS CUT OFF. Trust me man, there are benefits to having these four beautiful women around. It's all part of the Hazard Effect". THE 4 WOMEN ALL GRAB ONTO SHANE AND START TO GET VERY CLOSE TO HIM. HAZARD BACKS UP AND EXITS THE OFFICE, CLOSING THE DOOR. Hazard (to himself): "I'm really starting to like it around here". "NEEDLES" BY SYSTEM OF A DOWN HITS AND DUSTIN KASH COMES OUT, FOLLOWED BY SEAN O'HAIRE. Ventura: "I kinda like this guy Johnny Hazard". Cole: "Well that figures. And right now, here comes the twisted tandem of Dustin Kash and Sean O'Haire. Sean O'Haire couldn't solve his Boogeyman problem at WrestleMania so he went to..... well God only knows where he went to to find this guy"! Ventura: "Dustin Kash will serve as an understudy to Sean O'Haire and we all know what kind of success O'Haire has had in the TWF". RED SMOKE FILLS THE ENTRANCE AS THE BOOGEYMAN's MUSIC HITS. SECONDS LATER, HE CRAWLS OUT WITH A MOUTHFUL OF WORMS TO A HUGE RESPONSE. Cole: "We heard the comments made by Kash and O'Haire and what they basically said was there's nothing scary about the Boogeyman and if anyone should be feared around here, it's the two of them"! Ventura: "I'm just trying to figure out how these people can cheer for a guy who eats worms, paints his face and has absolutely no real wrestling ability as far as I'm concerned"! Cole: "Look at him partner, he's going into some kind of trance! Look at the Boogeyman twitch"! Ventura: "He's an idiot Cole, something you should be able to point out pretty easily". Dustin Kash w/ Sean O'Haire vs. The Boogeyman The match started and Kash just stared across the ring at The Boogeyman who seemed to be laughing, trying to decide how to attack him. Kash ran in, but Boogeyman punched him right in the head. He then picked him up and delivered a nasty falling powerslam. Kash was in a lot of trouble early but for whatever reason, Boogeyman elected not to go for a cover. He then crawled towards the corner where O'Haire was standing but O'Haire backed up. Kash had used the corner to get himself to his feet but Boogeyman charged in, only to post his left shoulder on the steel post. Kash tried to take advantage, focusing on the left shoulder. After twisting the shoulder and contorting it in multiple positions, Kash yanked the shoulder down on the top rope. But Boogeyman just started to go into some weird dance. Kash then used the ring ropes for a springboard dropkick, kicking Boogeyman right in the face. After pulling referee Charles Robinson away from the action, Kash distracted him as O'Haire pulled Boogeyman just slightly over the ring apron. From there, Kash came down with an elbow right across Boogeyman's throat before getting a running start and booting him in the side of the head. Kash then got back into the ring and stomped away at Boogeyman before going to the top rope and coming off with a flying legdrop. Boogeyman was down and motionless in the ring as Kash was taking it to him in a way we have yet to see. Boogeyman slowly began to get to his feet but Kash bounced off the ropes, flying at him. But the much bigger Boogeyman caught him in mid air and unbelievably shifted him into a double chokehold. It looked like Boogeyman was going to go for his falling chokebomb but before he could, O'Haire entered the ring and cracked him with a steel chair across the back. Robinson called for the bell but O'Haire and Kash were just getting started. Match Time: 11:27 Cole: "Boogeyman will get the win by disqualification but look at what they're doing now! This is a mugging"! BOOGEYMAN DID HIS BEST TO FIGHT OFF THE ATTACK BUT KASH AND O'HAIRE WERE TOO MUCH. AFTER BEING STRUCK IN THE HEAD WITH THE CHAIR BY KASH, BOOGEYMAN STUMBLED UP AND KASH HELD THE CHAIR UP BY BOOGEYMAN's HEAD AND O'HAIRE DROVE IT INTO HIS HEAD WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK. THEY THEN LAID THE CHAIR IN THE RING AND KASH WENT TO THE TOP ROPE. Ventura: "Oh look out, they're gonna spike him"! KASH AND O'HAIRE THEN DELIVERED THE SPIKE PILEDRIVER RIGHT ONTO THE CHAIR. O'HAIRE PICKED UP THE CHAIR AND PUT BOOGEYMAN's LEFT ARM INSIDE IT BEFORE GOING TO THE OUTSIDE. Cole: "Oh no.... he's not gonna do this"! O'HAIRE FLEW OFF WITH THE SEANTON BOMB, EVEN HURTING HIMSELF BUT BOOGEYMAN WAS IN A VISIBLE AMOUNT OF PAIN. Ventura: "He broke his arm... he had to have broken his arm"! Cole: "Get these guys out of here"! "COME ON" BY WATERPROOF BLONDE HITS AND KASH AND O'HAIRE LEAVE TO A LOT OF BOOS AS BOOGEYMAN JUST LAID IN THE RING, TWITCHING. Ventura: "Well if you ask me, they've solved The Boogeyman problem"! Cole: "Yeah and it's disgusting if you ask me"! MUHAMMAD HASSAN's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT WITH DAIVARI TO POSSIBLY THE LOUDEST BOOS ALL NIGHT. Ventura: "Oh, now I'm disgusted"! Cole: "What are they doing out here? We've got a tag team title match coming up"! Ventura: "Well now he had the microphone, I told you I shouldn't have left those ear plugs in the hotel"! Muhammad Hassan: "Shut up! This is an outrage! Last month, at WrestleMania 7 inside Caesar's Palace, I defeated the legendary Ric Flair.... I did.... I won! But tonight, at Foul Play, I'm not even on the card?! What the hell is the matter with the people in charge?! THE BOOS ARE GRADUALLY GETTING LOUDER. I've tried talking to Shane McMahon, that didn;t work! So now, I guess I'm gonna have to take my claims elsewhere! The next person who is going to hear my case is............ AT THAT MOMENT, LASHLEY's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A HUGE CHEER. Cole: "Oh boy, it looks like the next person who is going to hear his case is Lashley"! Ventura: "Finally, someone to shut this guy up"! Bobby Lashley: "Ya know, I've about had it with sitting in the back and listening to you come out here and whine and bitch that you're being mistreated! Ya know, I was part of the U.S. armed forces, (the crowd pops) and I can tell you that those guys that are over in Iraq, fighting so you can come to the ring and say the things that you do, don't discriminate against you for who you are. But all these people out here, they don't like you cause of how you act"! Hassan: "Oh save the pep talk. Let's talk about what this is really about. The reason you have come out here is because it was me...... me who handed you your first loss in the TWF! But what did I get for winning the PrimeTime side of the King of the Ring?! I got pulled from the final match because no one would team with me and that's not cause of how I act"! Lashley: "You sure about that? Cause you don't seem like you are. In fact, I'm pretty sure you don't think you could ever beat me again". LASHLEY AND HASSAN GO INTO AN INTENSE STAREDOWN WHEN DAIVARI COMES FROM BEHIND WITH A LOWBLOW ON LASHLEY. HASSAN THEN GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE BUT LASHLEY DUCKS AND HE TAKES OUT DAIVARI! LASHLEY THEN HOISTS HASSAN UP ABOVE HIS HEAD IN A MILITARY PRESS AND LAUNCHES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE, RIGHT ONTO DAIVARI AS THE CROWD GOES WILD. Cole: "Oh yeah! How did that feel Hassan?! I'll tell ya what, the guy comes out here week in and week out and bitches, just like Lashley said and it's about time someone came out here and did something about it"! HASSAN AND DAIVARI LEFT AND DAIVARI WAS SHOUTING BACK TO LASHLEY IN SOME ARABIC LANGUAGE. LASHLEY STOOD TALL IN THE RING, DARING THEM TO COME BACK IN. Ventura: "Well you can bet that Lashley will hear from these two again but I want to send a personal thank you to Bobby Lashley for making my night"! A SHOT IS SHOWN FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE PALACE. THE SUN HAS SET AND "TWF FOUL PLAY" IS SHOWN IN THE ARENA MARQUEE. Cole: "There you see a shot of the Palace, home of the Detroit Pistons and speaking of the Pistons, there's a couple of their all star players right there"! RASHEED WALLACE AND BEN WALLACE ARE SHOWN SITTING IN THE FRONT ROW AS THE CROWD AROUND THEM CHEERS. Ventura: "And they are huge fans of the TWF, great to have them here tonight"! THE CROWD RISES AS RIC FLAIR's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT WEARING A BEAUTIFUL RED AND BLACK ROBE. WITH HIM IS AXL IRVIN. Cole: "A golden oppurtunity for Ric Flair and Axl Irvin tonight as they have a chance to leave with the tag team titles"! Ventura: "And it looks like Flair was successful in talking Axl out of bringing Traci Brooks out here". Cole: "It's weird and kind of disappointing not to see Traci out here tonight, but one thing you have to admit is that Axl Irvin has been at his best when he is under the guidance of Flair"! THE ORIENT EXPRESS' MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT ALONG WITH SONNY ONOO, THE TAG TEAM TITLES AROUND THEIR WAISTS. Ventura: "Well what would you expect? He's taking tips from the greatest wrestler to ever lace a pair of boots". Cole: "Well they'll both have to be great tonight if they're gonna knock off Sonny Onoo's team. The Orient Express has been a force in the tag team division but this might be their toughest challenge to date". TWF Tag Team Title Match Challengers: Axl Irvin and Ric Flair vs. The Orient Express w/ Sonny Onoo The bell sounded and as Flair and Axl tried to decide who would start the match, the masked member of the Orient Express, Kato, attacked Flair from behind. Kato got some stiff shots on the Nature Boy before making a quick tag to Tanaka. Tanaka hit the ropes and flew at Flair with a flying forearm but Flair moved out of the way and tagged out. Axl came in and drilled Tanaka with a clothesline before picking him up for an inverted atomic drop. He then hit the ropes but caught a knee to the back from Kato, only to turn around and drill him with a right hand. Tanaka ran at him but Axl pulled the top rope down and Tanaka went sprawling to the floor with his teammate. But Flair came around, not wanting to let them regroup and popped Kato with a knifedge. He rolled Tanaka back into the ring where Axl was waiting. After a jackhammer suplex, Axl made the cover for the 1.........2......., but Tanaka was up. Axl made the tag and Flair was in, blasting the chest of Tanaka with some stiff knifedge chops. After diverting referee Chris Kay, Flair mule kicked Tanaka and new tag team champs seemed imminent. Axl tagged back into the match but ran into a drop toe hold. Tanaka then got to his corner and tagged in Kato but he was met with what could only be described as a football tackle from Axl. From there, Axl whipped Kato to his corner and distracted Kay as Flair used the tag rope to choke Kato. Axl then blasted him with a clothesline. Seeing his team in a world of trouble, Sonny Onoo reached into his pocket for his infamous powder but Flair came around and knocked his hands up, sending the powder flying. He then dropped Onoo with a right hand. Tanaka came over and traded shots with Flair as Traci Brooks ran out from the back in a black, very skimpy outfit. Kato had just caught Axl with a flying wheel kick when Traci began to pull down her top! This distracted Kato enough for Axl to come from behind with a backdrop suplex. But Flair yelled "What are you doing" and tried to get Traci away. Axl saw this and yelled at Flair but Tanaka and Kato set up behind him in the ring and when he turned around, he was dropped with a double superkick that sent a cracking sound throughout The Palace. Kato then covered Axl, hooking the leg for the 3 count. Match Time: 11:32 Cole: "Ah...... what a shame this is for Flair and Axl, they had this thing"! Ventura: "Well I hate to knock the Nature Boy, but why didn't he just let Traci do her thing"?! THE ORIENT EXPRESS LEFT WITH THEIR ARMS RAISED AND THEIR BELTS IN HAND AS THEIR MUSIC PLAYED. ONOO FOLLOWED WITH HIS FACE COVERED IN THE WHITE POWDER. Cole: "Well Flair was prophetic earlier. He said if Traci got involved, they'd lose the match and partner, that just became a reality"! BACKSTAGE...... JBL AND CHAOS WOLF ARE SHOWN IN THE BACK WITH CHAE. JBL: "Look, I know you two have had your doubts since we started talking about this, but we've gotta take it slow, we don't want to blow our cover. Trust me, the plan is working out great and tonight, another piece will fall into place". Cole: "Well I'm not sure what that was all about but what we are sure about is that the guys over on Rampage will bring to you Evil Intentions as the TWF's next pay-per-view event"! A BELL SOUNDS, MUCH LIKE THE ONE TO OPEN TRADING ON THE STOCK MARKET AND A WHITE LIMOSINE WITH BULLHORNS ON IT PULLS OUT ONTO THE SET. THE BACK DOORS OPEN AND JBL STEPS OUT WITH CHAOS WOLF AND CHAE. Ventura: "Look at this entrance. You got the limosine, the pretty lady, all the glitz and glamour, I'm not sure what Chaos Wolf is questioning here". Cole: "Well we're not totally sure what is going on with these two men but there's also some extra motivation for Chaos Wolf. He was once a member of the New Breed and he legitimately feels that he was the cog that made that engine run and tonight, he has something to prove to the franchise of the TWF"! "JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES" BY WATERPROOF BLONDE PLAYS AND CHRISTIAN COMES OUT TO A HUGE CHEER AS HIS PYRO FLOWS DOWN FROM ABOVE. Ventura: "And not only that, but in his short time here on PrimeTime, JBL has made a bitter enemy in Rockwell"! Cole: "One of Rockwell's only allies of late seems to be this man and sometimes even that isn't certain"! THE CROWD GOES WILD AS "BACK IN BLACK" BY AC/DC PLAYS AND JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT AS PYRO POPS OFF EVERYWHERE. HE STOPS AND LOOKS AT THE LIMO AND JUST LAUGHS BEFORE MAKING HIS WAY TO THE RING. Ventura: "And that is no one's fault but Rockwell's! His ego is just too much to handle". Cole: "I've never gotten the impression that Rockwell has an inflated ego. Success just seems to get people on your bad side and we all know how much success Rockwell has had"! Ventura: "And with all that being said, this is a tag team match that I'm really looking forward to and I consider Chaos Wolf to be the wild card because he knows Rockwell. Rockwell used to consider this man a friend". JBL and Chaos Wolf w/ Chae vs. Jordan Rockwell and Christian Referee Mike Enos asked for the bell to start the match and Christian stood across the ring from Chaos Wolf. The two men locked up and Christian was able to swing Wolf to the corner. Enos tried to get between them for a break but Wolf used that to get in a cheap shot before knocking Christian to the mat with a running forearm. Wolf began to taunt Rockwell, asking him to get into the ring but Christian grabbed his foot and tripped him up. Christian then dropped down into a reverse headlock on Wolf but Wolf was able to get to his feet and go for a backdrop suplex. But Christian flipped off his shoulders and grabbed him for the "Un-Prettier", only to have Wolf push out of it and make the tag to the 300 pound Bradshaw. JBL charged with his clothesline but Christian ducked and pasted him with a dropkick. Rockwell was tagged into the ring and the fans came to their feet as he went right at JBL, driving his shoulder into his gut multiple times while he was in the corner. Rockwell then whipped him to the opposite side and followed in but JBL caught him with a back elbow before running him over with a shoulder tackle. JBL tagged out and Wolf tried to come in with a flying helo and Rockwell rolled out of the way and made a tag to Christian who went straight to the top rope and caught Wolf with a flying clothesline. He went for the cover but at 2, JBL was in to break it up. Rockwell came into the ring and caught Bradshaw with a clothesline that took him over the top rope. In the ring, Christian put Wolf down with an impaler DDT to get a very near fall. Chae got up on the apron as Bradshaw and Rockwell were slugging it out on the floor and it was clear that Enos was losing control. Just then, Orlando Jordan came out of the crowd and into the ring, catching Christian with the "Best Move Ever". He quickly hopped over the top rope and went underneath the ring as Wolf rolled on top of Christian, grabbing his leg and hooking it with what little power he had left and Enos dropped to the mat to make the 3 count. Match Time: 8:16 Cole: "What the hell was that?! JBL and Chaos Wolf have won this thing but give the assist to of all people, Orlando Jordan"! JORDAN EMERGED FROM UNDER THE RING AND LEFT WITH THE TRIO OF JBL, CHAOS WOLF AND CHAE WHO WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE WIN. Ventura: "I don't think anyone saw that coming"! IN THE RING, ROCKWELL ASKED CHRISTIAN ABOUT WHAT JUST HAPPENED. Cole: "It all makes sense now! JBL mentioned earlier that another piece would fall into place tonight and that piece was Orlando Jordan! What the heck is this all about"?! Ventura: "JBL is a smart business man Michael and my guess is we;re just scratching the surface here! This was just a small part of whatever their grand scheme is"! BACKSTAGE....... IDALIS IS SHOWN WITH BATISTA, OUTSIDE HIS DRESSING ROOM. Idalis: "Batista, in just a matter of moments, you will put the Universal title on the line against the man you won it from at WrestleMania, Edge. My first question is about Rene Dupree, the man who has now admitted he tried to run you over a few weeks back. Don't you feel he should be in jail for that"? Batista: "Ya know what Idalis, I don't even want to talk about Rene Dupree. He's been here for a few years and no one has given a crap about him, why should they start now? As for Edge, it took me a lot of years and a lot of hard work to win this thing and if you think some dumb broad and a French guy are gonna help you take it back, you're sadly mistaken boy. The only thing I see for you tonight, is a Batista Bomb with you're name on it"! BATISTA WALKS AWAY AND IDALIS JUST SMILES. JUST THEN, A NEW THEME SONG HITS AND A SUPERSTAR THAT MANY FANS IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED MADE HIS WAY TO THE RING...... IT WAS TAZ! Cole: "Take a look at this partner, something I truly thought I would never see as we are witnessing former GSE superstar Taz make his way to a TWF ring at a TWF pay-per-view"! Ventura: "We've been listening to all the hype surrounding this guy for weeks, for months it seems and tonight, we finally get to hear from him"! SOME OF THE FANS ARE PAYING THEIR RESPECT TO TAZ BUT MOST OF THEM ARE BOOING AS HE GRABS THE MIC FROM HOWARD FINKEL. Taz: "Ya know, I pretty much planned on coming here tonight and getting booed. Simply put, no one around here seems to like the GSE. THE CROWD LOUDLY BOOS. So that means you're most likely not gonna like me because I was the greatest superstar in the history of that company! But it's fine, because whether you people love me or you hate me, it really makes no difference to me. I grew up on the streets of New York, nothing phases me! Back in the day, the way you feel about the GSE is exactly the way I felt about this company. No amount of money would've got me to come work here. So why am I here? Two reasons...... one, I finally had a revelation. As much as I hated to admit it and to a degree, I still do, but I realized that this was the place to be... this was where the big dogs played! And two, so I could wreak the same havoc here that I did in the GSE and mFw for so many years! I am here to make my mark on this business once and for all and whether it be the newest rookie in the back, or the franchise himself, yeah Jordan, I haven't forgotten about you, I will go through any........... TAZ IS CUT OFF BY THE THEME OF CHRIS MASTERS AND HE MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING, NOT EVEN DOING HIS USUAL POSE ROUTINE. Cole: "What the heck is this? The Masterpiece is coming out to interrupt Taz"? Ventura: "Ventura: "It sure seems that way.... Masters is coming to the ring with a purpose"! Chris Masters: "That's it, this stops now! I couldn't wait for you to come here tonight so I could....... Taz: "So you could what?! You think you're gonna come out here and make a name for yourself at my expense"?! TAZ TAKES OFF HIS SHIRT AND TOSSES IT TO THE MAT AS THE CROWD CHEERS. Masters: "No, it's not like that tonight! I am just so sick and tired of hearing about the GSE! How long has it been dead now?! Let me give you a little newsflash since I know a television is a frickin' luxury where you're from! In case you didn't realize it, the GSE was bought out by this company and the only reason they did it was........ Taz: "Look man, I can tell you're a pretty tough guy, or else you wouldn't be out here in my face. You've got the million dollar body, the total package really, but when I was making people tap night in and night out in the GSE, you were what, like twelve"? Cole: "Oh boy"! Masters: "Making people tap huh? Well if you've been doing your homework on PrimeTime, then you would know that I have the most devastating submission hold in all of wrestling! Nobody gets out of my Masterlock"! Taz: "Really? Any chance you want to put that to the test.... right now"? Masters: "What, you want to take the Masterlock challenge tonight? You're on". MASTERS DROPS HIS MICROPHONE AS TAZ TURNS HIS BACK TO HIM, PUTTING HIS ARMS STRAIGHT UP. Ventura: "I respect Taz but this is a mistake Cole". Cole: "We have yet to see anyone escape the Masterlock and Taz is simply going to let Masters apply it"! MASTERS GOES FOR THE HOLD BUT BEFORE HE HAS IT ALL THE WAY IN, TAZ SLIPS OUT AND TURNS IT INTO THE "TAZMISSION". THE CROWD IS GOING CRAZY AS MASTERS IS FIGHTING WITH EVERYTHING HE HAS BEFORE TAZ JUST RELEASES THE HOLD AND THROWS HIM TO THE MAT AS HIS MUSIC PLAYS AGAIN AND MASTERS GETS OUT OF THE RING QUICKLY. Ventura: "He got the Tazmission on him! I think that's what you'd call cheating"! Cole: "I think Taz just showed Masters that not only is he not a fool, but he may have the more dominant submission hold! Either way, Taz has made quite the impression on his first official night in the TWF"! Ventura: "And we still have the Universal title match to come"! Cole: "In fact, we are just moments away from it partner but before we get to it, let's take a look at what has led Edge and Batista to the Palace tonight"! "LIFE WASTED" PLAYS AGAIN AS A VIDEO PACKAGE IS SHOWN STARTING WITH CLIPS FROM THE OPPURTUNITY KNOCKS TOURNAMENT OF BATISTA GOING THROUGH RENE DUPREE, SHANE THOMPSON AND BOBBY LASHLEY TO BECOME THE #1 CONTENDER. FROM THERE, THE REPLAY OF BATISTA NEARLY BEING RUN DOWN IN A PARKING GARAGE IS SHOWN BEFORE IT GOES TO HIGHLIGHTS FROM WRESTLEMANIA 7 WHERE BATISTA DEFEATED EDGE TO BECOME UNIVERSAL CHAMPION. THE PACKAGE THEN SHOWS EDGE AND DUPREE TALKING ABOUT THE ATTEMPTED HIT AND RUN FOLLOWED BY THE SET UP STARTED BY DAWN MARIE AND HER FAKE APOLOGY AND THE ATTACK BY EDGE THAT FOLLOWED BEFORE THE ACTION RETURNS LIVE. "YOU THINK YOU KNOW" ME IS HEARD FOLLOWED BY A POOF OF SMOKE IN THE ENTRANCE AND "METALINGUS" bY ALTER BRIDGE HITS, BRINGING EDGE OUT TO A HUGE SLEW OF BOOS. Cole: "And here comes the challenger, the two time Universal champion Edge who always seems to find a way to bounce back"! Ventura: "Edge is a born champion Cole, we've known that for years and he looks prepared tonight". WITH EDGE IN THE RING, BATISTA's MUSIC STARTED UP AND HE CAME OUT TO A POWERFUL PYRO DISPLAY AND PROBABLY THE BIGGEST CHEER OF THE NIGHT WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE STRAPPED AROUND HIS WAIST. Cole: "Well to win tonight, he will have to defeat one of the most focused, driven individuals I've ever met and one of the toughest superstars we've ever seen in the TWF"! Ventura: "They call him the animal for a reason Cole! He's intense but I think Edge more than makes up for that in ring savvy and sheer athletic ability"! Cole: "Their battle at WrestleMania 7 went down as an instant classic and these fans are more than ready for another"! TWF Universal Title Match Challenger: Edge vs. Batista "Batista" chants loudly sounded through the arena as the bell sounded. Batista approached Edge who seemed very hesitant to mix it up with the champion. After stepping through the ropes to avoid contact, referee Mike Chioda pulled Batista back in order to give the challenger some space. Edge got back in and ordered Chioda to check Batista for foreign objects. Chioda went into a general patdown and while he was doing that, Edge charged in, only to be met with a stiff clothesline. Batista then picked him up and slung him to the corner before following in with a clothesline. He then lifted Edge to his shoulders, looking for a running powerslam but Edge slipped off and pulled him down with the Edge-O-Matic for an early 2 count. Both men got to their feet and Edge struck the big man with back to back right forearms before hitting the ropes. But as he ran in, Batista lifted him up over his head with a gorilla press and slammed him to the mat. Batista then measured Edge, blasting him with a clothesline when he got to his feet. He made a cover but Edge was up at 2. Back on their feet, Batista whipped him to the ropes and caught him with a powerslam that had plenty behind hit and again, he made the cover but Edge kicked out at 2. He whipped Edge to the corner and followed in with a running shoulder to the gut before backing up. After giving some sort of signal to the crowd, he charged in but Edge was waiting with a foot to the face. Edge then came out of the corner with a flying wheel kick that caught Batista square in the face. Edge made a cover of his own but barely got a 2 count. He did have Batista staggered though and he knocked him into the corner before assaulting him with a barrage of kicks and right hands. Edge shouted, "What about your champ now"? into the crowd who vehemently booed back. Edge picked Batista up and went for an irish whip but Batista countered and shot Edge to the ropes. But Edge ducked a clothesline then a backhand before exploding through the animal with the spear! The crowd couldn't believe it as Edge quickly got on top of Batusta to get the 1.........2.........., but Batista got up. Edge pulled at his own hair in disbelief, wondering what it would take to beat him. Batista was slow to get up and Edge was crouched in the corner, looking for another spear. But when he ran in, he caught a kick right to the chest as Batista made like an NFL punter before lifting Edge up and driving him into the mat with a spinebuster. Batista got up and he had the crowd of over 14,000 behind him as he gave a double thumbs down signal. They knew what was coming but just as he pulled Edge in, Batista was attacked from behind by Rene Dupree, forcing Chioda to call for the bell. Match Time: 14:40 Cole: "Wait a minute, Rene Dupree is out here"! Ventura: "Rene Dupree is all over Batista too! He may've cost Edge this match, but they're looking to do permanent damage now"! DUPREE BLASTED BATISTA WITH SHOT AFTER SHOT BUT WHEN EDGE SAW BATISTA GET UP AND SMASH DUPREE WITH A CLOTHESLINE, HE GOT OUT OF THE RING IN A HURRY. AS EDGE RETREATED, HE SAW BATISTA GET DUPREE UP AND DRIVE HIM INTO THE MAT WITH THE "BATISTA BOMB". BATISTA's MUSIC PLAYED AND HE JUST STARED AT EDGE VERY ANGRILY AS CHIODA HANDED HIM THE UNIVERSAL TITLE. Cole: "Well we know that Edge told Rene Dupree that if he won the title tonight, he would give him the first shot but some friend Edge is, he just left Dupree in the ring to be destroyed"! Ventura: "Batista's title may be safe for one more night Michael, but he hasn't gotten out of the woods yet"!
