Voiceover: "And..... whether it be wrestling or an all out brawl..... the right to call yourself the best will go through one of three different roads".
ALL THE IMAGES COME TOGETHER AS "MISERY" BY MAROON 5 COMES ON. THE SHOT THEN GOES BACK TO THE VOTING CENTER. THE TWO MEN HAVE JUST FINISHED UP AND THEY ARE WALKING OUT, JOKING TOGETHER. FROM BEHIND ONE OF THE VOTING COMPUTERS, A MAN PEEKS OUT. STRANGELY, HE LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO ONE TIME TWF SUPERSTAR M.X. OGDEN.
THE SHOT FADES TO BLACK FOR A FEW MOMENTS BEFORE THE INCREDIBLY NOISY HP PAVILION COMES INTO THE SHOT. PYRO EXPLODES EVERYWHERE.
Scott Hudson: "We welcome you to the fully interactive version of pay-per-view action in the TWF! Live from San Jose, California, I am Scott Hudson and with me as always is the one, the only, the Honky Tonk Man"!
Honky Tonk Man: "I didn't think the TWF was really going to allow this, but apparently, this event has been totally decided by the TWF viewers"!
Hudson: "That is right..... can you imagine if back in the day, the fans had the chance to vote to make sure you never sang one of those ridiculous songs of yours"?!
HTM: "Ridiculous?! You better watch your mouth, Hudson"!
Hudson: "Joining us tonight will of course be the Rampage broadcast team.... let's send it over there"!
THE CAMERA PANS OVER TO SHOW JIM ROSS AND JERRY LAWLER SEATED AT ANOTHER BROADCAST TABLE. JERRY LAWLER POURS HIMSELF A GLASS OF WATER FROM A LARGE PITCHER SITTING ON THE TABLE.
Jim Ross: "From what I am told, over four million votes were cast in tonight's polls, King..... unbelievable"!
"THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY COMES ON AS AXL IRVIN COMES OUT FROM THE BACK WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. HE RECEIVES A BIG CHEER.
Jerry Lawler: "Unbelievable is right. We need to take this time to thank all of the fans, the voters, for the response and we hope you enjoy this truly unique.... and interactive event".
J.R.: "And we're ready for our first matchup which will be for the TWF King of Cable title. I feel for Axl Irvin tonight because he didn't know who he'd have to prepare for in this one"!
ON THE TWF TRON, JACK SWAGGER, DOLPH ZIGGLER AND SYLVESTER TERKAY ARE SHOWN STANDING IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA.
Lawler: "It's all part of being King of Cable, J.R., you have to be ready to defend that title against anyone.... anywhere".
J.R.: "Who will it be? Axl will no doubt have his hands full with any of these guys".
THE POLL SHOWS SYLVESTER TERKAY RECEIVING 3% MORE VOTES THAN DOLPH ZIGGLER, AND HIS MUSIC HITS AND HE BLOWS PAST ZIGGLER AND SWAGGER, HEADING TO THE RING.
Lawler: "It's the Manbear"!
J.R.: "The former ECW World heavyweight champion.... Sylvester Terkay may be one of the last men you want to face unprepared"!
Lawler: "Who says he's unprepared, J.R.? Axl may've trained for all of these guys".
J.R.: "Well my hat is off to him if he did..... because it means he got no sleep".
TERKAY STEPS THROUGH THE RING ROPES WITH A SNARL ON HIS FACE, STARING RIGHT AT AXL AS THE BELL SOUNDS.
TWF King of Cable Title Match Challenger: Sylvester Terkay vs. Axl Irvin Axl circled the much bigger Terkay and was keen to avoid getting in too close with him. Terkay rushed in, swinging wildly but Axl avoided most of the shots and got in a knee to the midsection. After some right hands, he hit the ropes but Terkay slapped his arms around him and delivered a big belly to belly suplex. From there, he controlled Axl on the mat, driving his knee into the small of the back several times. Terkay got Axl up and hoisted him to his shoulders, delivering a big shoulder breaker. Axl was in a lot of pain as Terkay began to wrench his arm back, obviously setting up his triangle submission. But the scrappy Axl fended him off as best he could, only to eat a foot to the face. Terkay then went for an elbow drop, but Axl rolled out of the way. Grabbing the challenger around the head, Axl used the ring ropes to complete a tornado DDT that got him back into the match. Momentarily, both men were down but Axl got to his feet and pumped both fists as the crowd let out a big cheer. He pounded Terkay with a flurry of blows in the corner. But out of nowhere, Terkay picked him up and just dropped him face first on the turnbuckle. That led to a vicious german suplex. After Axl was dropped on the back of his head, Terkay crawled atop him and referee Scott Martin got down to issue a 2 count. Smelling blood, Terkay pulled Axl up and locked in a double underhook, driving 2 knees into the chest of the champion. That led to a big double underhook throw and things were now totally in the favor of the Manbear. He continued to hammer away on Axl when he got back to his feet. Terkay tried to get him on his shoulder again but Axl slipped off and ran the ropes. Terkay followed in with a clothesline but Axl ducked and right when Terkay turned around, he fell victim to the "Axl Cutter"! Axl rolled him over and listened as Martin pounded the mat 3 times. Match Time: 9:57 MARTIN HANDED AXL THE TITLE AS "THE REALEST" PLAYED AGAIN. J.R.: "A huge start to Anarchy Rulz here as the fans voted in one of the toughest challengers Axl Irvin could've possibly faced and King..... he was up to the task"! Lawler: "Very impressive win for Axl, especially after getting his arm nearly torn off by the Manbear"! AXL LEFT THE RING, SLAPPING HANDS WITH AS MANY FANS AS HE COULD BEFORE HEADING TO THE BACK. J.R.: "One of the bigger wins of this man's career if you ask me and King.... we still have four more title matches to come tonight"! Lawler: "San Jose and the millions watching around the world are sure getting a treat tonight! Their voice is being heard like never before"! BACKSTAGE AREA...... IN THE BACK, LENA YADA IS STANDING BY WITH CHAOS WOLF. Lena Yada: "Chaos Wolf, here soon we will find out who the fans have voted for to be your tag team partner tonight to face Damion West and another voted-upon partner. The winners of course become TWF Tag Team champions so......... Chaos Wolf (cutting her off): "No, I don't care who my partner is. I think this was a stupid way to settle this but hey, we can thank The Empire for that. All I know is, no matter what happens tonight, things between that punk Damion West and I...... will be far from settled". WITH THE SHOT RETURNING TO RINGSIDE, THE TWF TRON SHOWS THE POLL FOR THE NEXT MATCH AND REVEALS THAT BY A SMALL PERCENTAGE, THE FANS HAVE VOTED THAT THE WINNER MAY SELECT ANY CONSEQUENCE TO THE LOSER. WITH THAT, "BROKEN DREAMS" PLAYS AND DREW McINTYRE COMES OUT, SLOWLY MAKING HIS WAY TO THE RING WITH THE USUAL SMUGNESS ABOUT HIM. J.R.: "A very important match between two men who have grown intense rivals over the weeks". Lawler: "Recently drafted over to Rampage, Drew McIntyre could win the right to name any consequence for Sebastian Cain and that could be anything"! THE CROWD BUZZES WHEN "BLACK" BY SEVENDUST PLAYS AND SEBASTIAN CAIN COMES OUT. J.R.: "But you have to look at it from both ends, King! Sebastian Cain could do anything to Drew McIntyre and....... Lawler: "And in the world of the TWF, that could be very bad". Drew McIntyre vs. Sebastian Cain The bell sounded and the two men wasted no time exchanging. Right hands came flying from both men who were both ready to fight. McIntyre landed a glancing blow but Cain came back with a kick to the midsection before sending McIntyre to the ropes but when he dropped down a little soon, McIntyre dropped to a knee and smashed Cain across the back of the head. He then grabbed Cain with 2 hands and threw him into the mat, the back of his head hitting hard. McIntyre made the cover and got a 2 count before Cain pushed off. McIntyre kept on the offensive, stomping on the body of Cain before getting him up and shooting him into the corner. McIntyre walked in and grabbed Cain before smashing him with a knifedge chop to the chest, followed by another. McIntyre then tried to get Cain on the top turnbuckle but Cain fought him off and caught him with a jumping enziguri to the back of the head. He then went to the middle turnbuckle and flew off with a clothesline, taking McIntyre down. Cain then turned the tables, flinging McIntyre into the corner where he proceeded to pound him with punches. But the Scotsman got a double leg and tripped Cain up before stacking him up in the corner. He then stuck both feet on the ropes for more leverage and got 1............2................, but Cain pushed free anyway! McIntyre got up and was incensed, shocked that Cain was able to prevent a pinfall. He kicked him in the gut when he got up and tried to lock in the "Future Shock" DDT but Cain was prepared for it, swinging free before he locked his hands. He then lifted McIntyre up and delivered a stun gun on the top rope. Cain then ran the ropes but McIntyre countered with a big boot to the face. After stumbling around the ring, laughing as if he had the match won, McIntyre bent down to pull Cain up but Cain countered into a small package and got 1..........2.............., but McIntyre was out! Both men scrambled to their feet and McIntyre threw a clothesline that missed everything and Cain was able to connect on the "Mark of Cain". There was no getting up from that for McIntyre as referee Chad Patton made it official with a 3 count. Match Time: 7:32 J.R.: "What a win for Sebastian Cain! Drew McIntyre will now have to face his wrath"! Lawler: "Yes, Cain has won this battle and it will be a costly one for Drew McIntyre! I just hope Cain doesn't have as sick of a mind as some of these guys around here do"! "BLACK" BLARED AGAIN AS SEBASTIAN CAIN STOOD IN THE RING, CELEBRATING THE WIN AND THE CROWD LOVED IT. J.R.: "It could be anything....... I hate to speculate.... but I'd also hate to be in McIntyre's shoes"! Lawler: "The fans made this match and they will reap the rewards as I'm sure they'd like to see McIntyre humiliated in the worst possible way"! BACKSTAGE....... IN THE BACK, DAMION WEST IS STANDING WITH LENA YADA. Lena Yada: "Damion, we just heard from your former tag team partner Chaos Wolf that regardless of what happens tonight, things between the two of you are far from finished". Damion West: "Which is totally fine with me. But tonight, my focus is on becoming the TWF Tag Team champions.... with a partner who I can actually trust". WEST WALKS AWAY, READY FOR THE MATCH. "REMEMBER THE NAME" BY FORT MINOR COMES ON AND CHAOS WOLF COMES OUT. HE RECEIVES A MIXED REACTION FROM THE CROWD. Hudson: "The TWF Tag Team titles have been vacated since the recent TWF Draft where the Second City Saints were split up". HTM: "Ironically enough, that happened after Colt Cabana lost a match to Eddie Saint James, sending CM Punk over to Rampage and setting up this situation". Hudson: "The former champions, Chaos Wolf and Damion West had a rematch clause but they were never able to use it due to the fact that they may be the most unholy alliance we have ever seen, Honky Tonk Man"! HTM: "They haven't seen eye to eye from the time they were put together and that's the thing.... they were put together by Shane McMahon for God knows what reason.... they never wanted to be a tag team"! "SOMEBODY's GONNA GET IT" BY THREE SIX MAFIA COMES ON AND MARK HENRY COMES OUT FROM THE BACK. Hudson: "Well they're getting new tag team partners tonight and look at who the fans have voted in for Chaos Wolf..... it's the World's Strongest Man.... Mark Henry"! HTM: "And this may put Damion West's team in a big hole already..... how do you prepare for this guy"?! Hudson: "Chaos Wolf seems very pleased with this vote.... and why not"? AN ENGINE LOUDLY REVS, THE SOUND ROARING ACROSS THE ARENA BEFORE "STRONGER" BY KANYE WEST STARTS UP AND DAMION WEST COMES OUT FROM THE BACK. HE STOPS AT THE TOP OF THE STAGE AND WAITS TO SEE WHO HIS PARTNER IS. "IT's TIME" COMES ON AND GREGORY HELMS COMES OUT WITH VELVET SKY. THE CROWD IS VERY SURPRISED AS HELMS AND VELVET WALK RIGHT PAST WEST, HEADING TO THE RING. HTM: "Well this is a surprise..... Hudson: "Yeah, there's about a one hundred and fifty pound difference between the two partners that these guys got, but I actually think West and Helms could make a good impromptu team here"! HTM: "The Tag Team titles will go to one of these teams.... which man can be a better partner.... Wolf or West"?! Vacant TWF Tag Team Title Match Chaos Wolf and Mark Henry vs. Damion West and Gregory Helms w/ Velvet Sky Chaos Wolf was very keen on the big man starting the match off, and Henry did just that. Helms went to the corner, leaving West to face the World's Strongest Man. West was able to land a couple of kicks to the body before hitting the ropes. He ducked a clothesline and tried to throw a dropkick but Henry just swatted him away. He then turned and grabbed Helms, flipping him into the ring. Wolf was loving every minute of it from the apron, and after stacking both Helms and West up in the corner, Wolf made the tag to come into the match and he used Henry as a human bowling ball, irish whipping him into both men. Henry was forced out of the ring, but Wolf had Damion West right where he wanted him. After some hard punches in the corner, he drove West into the mat with a jackhammer style suplex. A cover netted him a 2 count before West got a shoulder off the mat. Wolf continued to pound on West, but as he pulled him to his feet following a powerslam, West threw his superkick and caught Wolf with it. Both men were down, but it wasn't the full impact of the blow that he hit Wolf with. It did allow him the time to get to his corner and make the tag to Helms who came in with a flying clothesline from the apron. Helms was on a roll that he finished with a shining wizard. He went for the cover and got 1.............2.........., but Wolf was up. Helms tried to deliver a reverse DDT but Wolf countered into a northern lights suplex. He then dove to his corner and brought Henry back into the match. Henry ran right through Helms with a clothesline before delivering a massive elbow drop. Henry was all over Helms for the next several minutes, but Helms showed a lot of heart by not letting Henry put him away. Finally, he whipped Helms into the corner but missed with a big avalanche splash. Helms got out of the way and made the tag to West. They then combined to take on Henry and after a double flying shoulder tackle, they took him off his feet. Outside the ring, Velvet removed one of her high heels and threw it to Helms before getting on the apron, trying to run distraction on referee Aaron Mahoney. But West saw this and grabbed the shoe from Helms before turning and telling Velvet to get off the apron. Helms saw this and he looked at Velvet before leaving the ring, seemingly abandoning West! As Helms and Velvet left, West turned right into the open arms of Henry and was driven into the mat with the "World's Strongest Slam". But it didn't end there. Seeing the flattened West, Chaos Wolf asked Henry to tag him in, which he did. Wolf then hurried into the ring and covered his rival, hooking the inside leg as Mahoney issued the 3 count! Match Time: 10:31 HTM: "New champs..... we've got new champs"! Hudson: "This might as well have been a handicap match! Gregory Helms just walked out on his partner"! HTM: "Can you blame him?! They had this match won and he pushed Velvet away"! "REMEMBER THE NAME" PLAYED AS MAHONEY HANDED HENRY AND WOLF THEIR NEWLY WON STRAPS. Hudson: "Damion West didn't want it that way"! HTM: "Chaos Wolf seems to be the better tag team partner, Hudson.... don't you think that was just proven"?! Hudson: "Chaos Wolf said earlier tonight that the situation between him and Damion West would not be over no matter what happened here..... I'm sure Damion West has no problem with that now"! BACKSTAGE........ IN THE BACK, EDGE IS LOOKING AT A MONITOR WHICH SHOWS THE FINAL POLL RESULTS FOR HIS MATCH. WITH ABOUT 57% OF THE VOTE, JOE COREY HAS WON THE RIGHT TO CHALLENGE HIM FOR THE UNIVERSAL TITLE. SEEING THAT RESULT, A CONFIDENT SMILE FORMS ON THE FACE OF THE CHAMPION, EDGE. THE CAMERA GETS A GOOD VIEW OF A LADDER AT THE END OF THE ENTRANCE RAMP BEFORE SHOWING ONE ON THE SIDE OF THE RING. KOFI KINGSTON's MUSIC COMES ON AND HE EMERGES FROM THE BACK TO A GOOD CHEER. AS KOFI APPROACHES THE RING SLAPPING HANDS WITH FANS, THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE IS SHOWN HANGING ABOVE THE RING. Hudson: "I'm not one bit surprised that this match was voted to be a ladder match and this could turn into an instant classic, Honky Tonk Man". HTM: "But what is a surprise is the narrow margin it was voted in by.... nearly as many fans wanted to see a two out of three falls match"! "BORN TO FLY" COMES ON AND EVAN BOURNE MAKES HIS WAY OUT TO AT LEAST AN EQUALLY POSITIVE REACTION AS KINGSTON's. Hudson: "I wouldn't have complained about that.... either way we should see a highly competitive match between two of the most athletic men the TWF has to offer and two men who have a lot of respect for each other"! HTM: "Well that respect will go out the window the second one of these guys gets hit in the head with a ladder"! TWF Intercontinental Title/Ladder Match Challenger: Kofi Kingston vs. Evan Bourne Bourne and Kingston circled one another as the bell sounded before Bourne pointed up at the belt as if to say he was not planning on losing. Kingston moved in and the two men locked up. Kingston was able to push the champion into the corner and land a stiff forearm. After a kick to the midsection, Kofi went to the middle turnbuckle and came off with a sunset flip but Bourne rolled through it and dropkicked Kingston in the face. He then landed a standing moonsault before getting to his feet, waiting for Kingston to do the same. When Kofi got up, Bourne ran the ropes but Kofi sprung into the air with a jumping clothesline that took him off his feet. From there, Kofi went to the ring apron and waited for Bourne to get up. When he did, he used the ring ropes to launch himself into the air with a crossbody. Bourne got to his feet only to smashed with "Trouble in Paradise". Looking to stop Kofi's momentum, Bourne rolled outside the ring to gather himself. But Kingston ran across the ring and jumped over the top rope but Bourne countered the suicide dive by pushing the ladder right into Kofi! Bourne then pulled out a table from under the ring and set it up before going around the ring and getting the other ladder, sliding it under the bottom rope. After setting it up, Bourne looked up before making a quick climb up the ladder. Before he could get his hands on the belt, Kofi got back into the ring and grabbed Evan's right foot, yanking him down. Bourne's chin struck one of the rungs on the ladder and Kingston then caught him with a flying wheel kick. Kingston then decided to make his own climb up the ladder, moving much slower than Bourne just did. But he got his hands on the belt and looked very close to pulling it down before he saw Bourne starting to climb up the other side of the ladder. Kingston tried to kick at Bourne but he kept coming up the ladder and soon, the two men were trading punches. The ladder started to rock and both men jumped off simultaneously, landing on their feet. Kofi reacted first, dropping Bourne with a round kick to the back of the head. After connecting with the Boom Drop, Kingston seemed to have things well in hand. He set the ladder back up in place under the belt but before he could make his way up, Bourne got to his feet and belted him with a kick to the midsection that knocked Kingston into the corner. But when he ran in, Kofi caught him with a back elbow before backdropping him to the apron. Kingston went to the top rope, but then, in one of the more amazing moments in TWF history, Bourne landed a jumping frankensteiner that put Kofi through the table he had set up earlier! As Kingston lay in the pile of shattered wood, Bourne went back into the ring and went up the ladder, grabbing the title belt and pulling it into his hands. Match Time: 11:19 Hudson: "Oh my....... that was absolutely unbelievable"! HTM: "That is gonna be on TWF highlight reels for many years to come"! SLOWLY, KINGSTON GOT UP AND INTO THE RING, LOOKING AT BOURNE WHO HAD JUST COME DOWN FROM THE LADDER. THE TWO MEN SHOOK HANDS WHICH DREW A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE. Hudson: "Tremendous sportsmanship shown by both men here.... this is what you like to see". HTM: "Well you know how I feel about that, but I still won't take away from that incredible title defense by Evan Bourne". BACKSTAGE...... ARENA SUITE...... CAMERAS ARE ALLOWED INTO THE EMPIRE's SUITE IN THE ARENA, WHERE TRISH STRATUS, STEPHANIE McMAHON AND ALBA RIOS ARE SHARING A CONVERSATION, EACH SIPPING A GLASS OF WINE. MATT MORGAN COMES UP TO MONEY MIKE. Matt Morgan: "You sure Carney is ready for this tonight"? Money Mike: "Look, Matt.... just because you fell a little short against Rockwell at WrestleMania does not make him unstoppable. Trust me.... Carney is ready for this tonight and after he bloodies the face of that idiot, we will have a major celebration party and I might even let you play with one of the strippers". THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING AND NEARLY EVERYONE IN ATTENDANCE COMES TO THEIR FEET WHEN "AMAZING" BY KANYE WEST COMES ON. JOE COREY MAKES HIS WAY OUT TO A NEARLY UNANIMOUS NEGATIVE REACTION. AFTER POURING WATER OVER HIS HEAD, HE MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING. Hudson: "So we now get ready for one of tonight's marquee matches and surprisingly or not surprisingly, Joe Corey was voted in as the man who will take on Edge here tonight". HTM: "What do you mean surprisingly or not surprisingly"? Hudson: "Well considering some of the choices, Joe Corey may have been the lesser of all evils". HTM: "Well he did beat out John Cena, who does have some respect amongst the viewers. But honestly, I think these people just get off on seeing people at their worst.... and Joe Corey's personal anguish has always been centered around the Universal title". "METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE COMES ON AND EDGE MAKES HIS WAY OUT. PYRO POUNDS OFF BEHIND HIM AS HE RAISES HIS ARMS UP BEFORE MAKING HIS WAY DOWN THE RAMP. Hudson: "And here comes arguably the greatest Universal champion the TWF has ever seen". HTM: "And a man who has beaten Corey one more than one occasion"! Hudson: "Edge was very confident when he found out he'd be defending the title versus Corey, but is that a mistake"? HTM: "Edge has every right to feel confident about facing any of these guys..... he's been unbeatable in big time situations like this"! TWF Universal Title Match Challenger: "The Show" Joe Corey vs. Edge There was a buzz in the arena as the bell sounded to get this one underway. But neither man was favored as they were both booed by the crowd. Edge made it seem like he was coming in for a lockup but instead he kicked Corey low and popped him with 2 right hands. He then went for an irish whip but Corey reversed it and caught him with a double thrust chop to the throat. The shot staggered the champion and allowed Corey to hit a flying knee that caught him directly in the face. Corey went for an excited cover, but only got a one count. He got Edge up and delivered 2 sharp punches before running the ropes but Edge countered by pulling the top rope down and Corey flew over the top rope to the floor. Edge gathered himself before going to the ring apron, measuring Corey. But Corey got to his feet and grabbed the right leg of Edge, dragging him to the floor. Edge landed very hard and immediately grabbed his back but Corey got him up and drove his back into the ring steps. Corey grabbed him and rolled him into the ring, targeting the lower back. He was all over Edge who could do nothing to stop the onslaught. After a big jackhammer suplex, Corey went into a cover and got 1........2......., but Edge shot his right shoulder off the mat. He got Edge up and pushed him into the corner, smashing him with 2 knifedge chops. He then tried to whip him across to the far corner but Edge countered it right into an Edge-a-cution. Both men were down, but the champion had some life. He beat Corey to the feet and off an irish whip, he dropkicked the challenger, knocking him to the mat. He then jumped on his fallen opponent, slapping on a side headlock and pounding him with repeated punches. After getting him to his feet, Edge had his arms swept up over his head and Corey kicked him in the abdomen, trying to load him up for the "Showstopper". But Edge felt it coming, and had the perfect counter. After swinging out before Corey could lock his arms up, Edge delivered the Edge-a-cution! He rolled him over into a cover and got 1...........2..........., but that was all. Edge could smell the win, however, and he waited for Corey to get up, readying himself in the corner. When he got up, Edge went for the spear but Corey saw it coming and landed a punt style kick to the chest. He ran forward with a clothesline that Edge ducked before running against the ropes, smashing Corey with the spear. He made the cover and got 1.......................2..................., but within the last millisecond, Corey got his foot on the bottom rope! Pulling at his own hair, Edge was in disbelief. He yelled for Corey to get up and when he did, he grabbed him in a front facelock but Corey pushed forward with everything he had, ramming Edge into the corner. The shot aggravated the previously hampered back and Corey followed that up with a textbook belly to back suplex. He then seemed to kick it into another gear, grabbed the feet of Edge and rolling him over into "The Cage". Most of the crowd came to their feet as Edge fought the hold with all his might. He seemed like he refused to give in, but he had also been immobolized. Still, Edge tried to somehow inch towards the ring ropes. It was no use.... Corey pulled back on the hold even harder and finally, Edge tapped out. Match Time: 11:00 Hudson: "An incredible.... incredible match and an even more incredible win for the man who has finally reached the top of the mountain! Honky Tonk Man, take a good look, Joe Corey is the Universal champion"! HTM: "I see it and I can't help but be extremely impressed! Edge fought that hold like a true warrior, but Corey just wanted it more"! "AMAZING" PLAYED AS REFEREE MIKE CHIODA HANDED COREY THE BELT, WHICH HE PRESSED UP RIGHT AGAINST A RINGSIDE CAMERA. Hudson: "There is even a little bit of applause in this crowd..... they may not like these guys... but they appreciate what they just saw"! HTM: "I have to admit, for once these people got it right"! Hudson: "And after numerous attempts.... and numerous disappointments.... the night finally belongs to The Show"! BACKSTAGE....... Backstage Jordan Rockwell, Beth Phoenix and Randy Orton are shown talking but the conversation can't be heard. Rockwell and Orton shake hands and as Orton walks away, Lena Yada approaches.
Lena Yada: "Excuse me, Jordan, what were you talking to Randy Orton about"?
Rockwell and Phoenix look at each other, then at Lena.........
Jordan Rockwell: "Talking to ..... Oh that! Well, that's nothing for anyone to
worry about...... just talking about..... well we were talking about stuff".
Lena Yada: "Stuff"?
Jordan Rockwell: "Yeah like current events or stuff we have in common, ya know
it's funny what some people have in common".
Beth Phoenix: "What do you have in common with Randy Orton"?
Jordan Rockwell: "You'd be amazed. But enough of that, I am sure Lena that you
have other questions for us".
Lena Yada: "Well a lot of people want to know about this union of the two of you".
Beth Phoenix: "Well much like Jordan has said, in the past we in the Pain
Syndicate believe that everyone is guilty until we say otherwise and
Alba Rios..... you and those other two bitches are in my opinion of false
advertising because you lead the people to believe you are dominant
woman just because you are a collective unit when not even a
collective unit can surpass the Glamazon".
The fans cheer........
Jordan Rockwell: "Ya see at first I was hesitant about Beth standing by my
side as the vice president of the Pain Syndicate but then she pointed
out something that changed my mind and that was the fact that I didn't have to
worry about the three little pigs of The Empire and with that the deal
was done and the Pain Syndicate has grown by one to add on to yours
truly and the majority share holders sitting in the seats around
ringside.
The fans cheer again......
So tonight..... Carney, win, lose or draw, I'm going to make you suffer and
I'm going to make you feel pain and if you just happen to bleed in the
process..... so be it! Funny thing though, all of this coulda been avoided,
ain't that right......
Rockwell gets close to the camera.......
Wakeman"?
Rockwell and Phoenix walk off....... "I WILL BE HEARD" PLAYS AND THE BOOGEYSAINTS COME OUT WITH MONICA TO JUST ABOUT ALL BOOS. THE BOOGEYMAN IS MAKING HIS USUAL GYRATIONS WITH HIS BODY WHILE MONICA AND THE SAINT WALK ARM IN ARM, BOTH DRESS MOSTLY IN BLACK. SAINT JAMES IS WEARING A TIGHT BLACK SHIRT, BLACK JEANS AND DARK SHADES. MONICA HAS ON A LONG BLACK COAT AND KNEE HIGH LEATHER BOOTS. EACH MAN IS CARRYING HIS TAG TEAM BELT AS THEY ENTER THE RING. J.R.: "Well we've heard about a big announcement from our long reigning Rampage Tag Team champions and to this moment, King, we've heard no clues as to what this announcement is". Lawler: "Well whatever it is... they feel it's important enough to interrupt a major pay-per-view for it". Monica: "Twenty two months....... that is the last time someone other than my BoogeySaints held these title belts. So tonight, we came out here for one thing and one thing only and that is to address The Empire..... we don't care if it's Money Mike, Travis Wakeman, or ALL of you! We want you to come to this ring and publicly recognize us as the greatest tag team in the history of professional wrestling"! J.R.: "Whoa, I don't know if I'd go that far". Eddie Saint James: "Names like the Legion of Doom, Bahamut and Strife..... we don't want to hear them anymore! C'mon, Mike.... you said you made this team..... here's your chance to let everyone know how 'smart' you were"! Lawler: "I don't know if this is a good idea on the champions' part". WITH THAT, "SO FRESH, SO CLEAN" BY OUTKAST COMES ON AND A YOUNG MAN MAKES HIS WAY OUT FROM THE BACK. HE IS WEARING A SHIRT THAT SAYS "BIG BEAR, CALIFORNIA" AND A PAIR OF BLUE JEANS. HE GETS INTO THE RING AND ASKS FOR A MICROPHONE. Man: "Before I get into what you guys just said, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Cayden Cole...... and I am the newest member of TWF PrimeTime. Now I like to let my actions speak for me and trust me.... there will be a lot of action from me. But other than coming out here to let the TWF viewers see the face of the future..... I came out here to let you know that your claims are ridiculous. See, aside from being the newest member of PrimeTime, I'm also a longtime..... longtime fan! You two don't even deserve to be in the conversation for greatest tag teams ever! Yes, you guys have had a good run, but...... Monica: "But what?! How dare you come out here and try to take our time"?! BOOGEYMAN AND THE SAINT INCH CLOSER TO THE NEWCOMER COLE, AND A PHYSICAL ALTERCATION SEEMS JUST MOMENTS AWAY. BUT JUST THEN, 3 MEN COME FROM OUT OF THE CROWD, ATTACKING THE BOOGEYSAINTS. THE 3 MEN ARE QUICKLY RECOGNIZED AS VANCE ARCHER, TYLER REKS AND JUSTIN GABRIEL. THEY ARE ALL OVER THE BOOGEYSAINTS AND MONICA HURRIES OUT OF THE RING. COLE GETS OUT AS WELL. REKS GETS THE BOOGEYMAN UP AND DELIVERS A REVERSE DEATH VALLEY DRIVER BEFORE ARCHER KICKS THE SAINT RIGHT IN THE FACE WITH A RUNNING BOOT. FROM THERE, GABRIEL GOES UP TO THE TOP ROPE AND COMES OFF WITH A TANTALIZING 450 SPLASH ONTO SAINT JAMES! SECONDS LATER, STEPHANIE McMAHON COMES OUT FROM THE BACK, CLAPPING HER HANDS. Stephanie McMahon: "Monica.... before you go making demands.... you need to remember who you're dealing with! You are looking at Vance Archer...... Tyler Reks..... and Justin Gabriel. PrimeTime's newest superstars by way of the New Superstar Package"! Hudson: "Now it all makes sense... we'll take these guys"! HTM: "But who is this guy Cayden Cole? He doesn't seem to have anything to do with this". CAYDEN COLE HEADS FOR THE BACK, PASSING STEPHANIE WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. IN THE RING, ARCHER, REKS AND GABRIEL STAND OVER THE BOOGEYSAINTS. BACKSTAGE...... THE SHOT GOES TO COURTNEY TAYLOR IN THE BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW AREA WITH THE TWF WORLD CHAMPION MATT CRUZ.
Courtney Taylor: "I'm here with the TWF World Champion, Matt Cruz. Matt, how are you handling the pressure of taking on a former World Champion in Jason Oliver without even knowing what type of match your going to be defending your title in"?
Matt Cruz: "First of all, you eyeing me like a piece of meat is, while flattering, a little uncomfortable since I'm already spoken for. (Courtney smiles and shakes her head). As for your question, I'm handling things very well. People may question where my head is at or whether or not I'm completely focused on the task at hand, but I've made a career here in the TWF answering those type of questions and silencing doubters, so this is just another opportunity for that. Certain members of The Empire have been screwing with me lately, but make no mistake, I am taking Jason Oliver very seriously. The Empire is nothing but fake boobs and real assholes, so it would be a mistake to concentrate on them when I have a very dangerous man in the ring with me, wanting to take my title. The King of Sting, The Painus in the Anus, the Motley Crue loving Monkey, whatever his name is. Goofy names notwithstanding, I know he can go. I hope you're hearing this, Oliver. You once told me that you have at least three holds superior to my Cloverleaf. That's your opinion, no matter how stupid you sound when you say things like that. You have the opportunity to back up that talk tonight. And if you think the Cloverleaf is my only effective weapon in my arsenal, you need to put down that crack pipe, homes! I've got friends in the world of MMA and I have picked up something that no one in the TWF is ready for or has ever seen. So you better pray that it doesn't end up a Submission match tonight, because my new hold will turn the "Canadian Mustang" into glue"! THE SHOT CLOSES IN ON AN INTENSE LOOKING CRUZ AS HE PATS THE TWF WORLD TITLE BELT DRAPED ON HIS SHOULDER. ON THE TWF TRON, A POLL IS SHOWN CONTAINING A BED OF NAILS, STRETCHER MATCH AND LAST MAN STANDING. WITH 63% OF THE VOTE, LAST MAN STANDING IS SHOWN TO BE THE MATCH. WITH THAT, "THE DROWNING" BY THE HAUNTED COMES ON AND RICHARD RAMSLEY MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE RAMP. A CAMERA TRIES TO GET A CLOSE LOOK AT THE DERANGED RAMSLEY, BUT HIS EYES ARE COVERED BY HIS HAIR. Lawler: "A last man standing match has to be right up this guys' alley, J.R."! J.R.: "Any match on the poll would've played right into his hands. Ramsley has promised a new level of brutality tonight but if he thinks he's not gonna get a fight... he's got another thing comin'". "FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS" BY METALLICA STARTS UP AND CHRIS TIRPAK IS SHOWN IN THE CROWD, CARRYING A KENDO STICK AS HE HEADS TO THE RING. Lawler: "This has been one of the nastiest rivalries in years.... I can't imagine what they're gonna do to each other tonight"! J.R.: "The only way to win this match is to put your opponent down for the count of ten! It could definitely get ugly"! Last Man Standing Chris Tirpak vs. Richard Ramsley Before Tirpak could get into the ring with his weapon, Ramsley came at him and knocked him off the apron. The kendo stick fell to the floor and Ramsley went outside the ring, grabbing it. He took a swing at Tirpak when he got up but when Tirpak ducked, the weapon snapped in half against the steel ring post. Tirpak slammed into Ramsley from behind, knocking him into the barricade. He then ran at him but Ramsley caught him with a back elbow before picking him up and just tossing him into the ring steps. Tirpak landed very awkwardly on them as Ramsley grabbed him by the back of the head and began to ram him face first into the ring apron repeatedly. He then got him up for a backdrop suplex, depositing him on the floor near the ring. Ramsley demanded that referee Jack Doan start to count, but Tirpak was up by the count of 4. Ramsley stuck a right hand in his face when he got up but when he threw a clothesline, Tirpak ducked it and turned it into a falling neckbreaker. He got up and hurried to the backstage area and about 30 seconds later, he came back out pushing a wheel barrow with a box inside. Ramsley got up and Tirpak pushed the wheel barrow at him. Ramsley got out of the way and the two met in the aisle, throwing punches. Tirpak was able to get the best of that before throwing Ramsley head first into the steel guardrail near the fans. He then went and got the box in the wheel barrow, throwing it into the ring. Ramsley got up and came towards the ring, coming in as Tirpak was preparing to open the box. He had some kind of chain in his hands, where he got it is anyone's guess. He began to choke Tirpak, putting him down to one knee. But before going out, Tirpak backed into the corner, getting Ramsley to let up. After a hard back elbow smashed open the nose of Ramsley, he opened the box and dumped it in the center of the ring. It was a box full of T12 florescent light bulbs! After lifting Ramlsey to the top turnbuckle, Tirpak climbed up with him and he pulled him off with an amazing superplex! The crowd was in disbelief as the impact of the men falling into the bulbs sounded like an explosion! Both men had glass sticking out of their arms, back and several other places and the camera got a great shot of Ramsley actually smiling. Tirpak pulled him up by the hair but Ramsley got in a shot to the throat before slamming Tirpak face first into the broken glass! Doan started to count, 1.......2.........3........4.........5.........6......., when a bloodied Tirpak rolled over and slowly got up. Ramsley grabbed him and launched him over the top rope to the floor. Beating the absolute hell out of each other, Ramsley followed and stuffed Tirpak in the wheel barrow. He then began to push him up the ramp and looked ready to push him off the side. Tirpak quickly got out of the wheel barrow ad the two men squared off again, this time at the top of the stage. Ramsley threw Tirpak into part of the Anarchy Rulz set before starting to climb up the set from a ladder on the side! Seeing this, Tirpak decided to be just as daring, going up a ladder on the other side. The two men got to the top of the set together, at least 30 feet in the air. They started hitting each other, both teetering high in the air. Ramsley stunned Tirpak and looked like he was trying to remove a piece of the set but Tirpak recovered. Ramsley lunged at him and Tirpak was ready, pushing him off the back side of the set! A loud thud was heard and cameras raced over to show Ramsley laying on top of some of the sound equipment as sparks flew! The crowd was in stunned silebce as Doan ran over and started the count. He reached 10 and Ramsley was still motionless. A battered, bloody Tirpak couldn't even raise his arms in victory. Match Time: 12:12 J.R.: "My God.... I don't think we've ever seen anything like that before"! Lawler: "Is he dead"?! "FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS" PLAYED AGAIN AND TIRPAK MORE OR LESS HOBBLED AWAY, LOOKING LIKE ANYTHING BUT A WINNER. J.R.: "You have to wonder if the long term affects of this match on both men will be worth it! Chris Tirpak has gotten the win.... but at what cost"?! Lawler: "I just don't even know what to say..... I can't believe those guys were on top of that video screen..... wow". BACKSTAGE..... ARENA SUITE..... IN THE BACK, CARNEY IS SHOWN WITH MATT MORGAN AND MONEY MIKE. Money Mike: "Alright man, we've just gotten word that it's first blood..... what we wanted, right? CARNEY LOOKS AWESTRUCK WHEN MIKE GRABS HIM BY THE SHOULDERS. This is what you came to The Empire to do..... this right here! Remember, Jordan Rockwell is the enemy..... the enemy you can defeat! Bust him open..... this is your night.... your night"! MATT MORGAN STANDS AND NODS AS CARNEY NOW SEEMS READY TO GO. SCOTT HUDSON AND THE HONKY TONK MAN ARE SHOWN AT THE BROADCAST POSITION. Hudson: "Fans we hope that you will join us for our next TWF Pay-Per-View spectacular..... DoomsDay! HTM: "And this year, DoomsDay will feature the King of the Ring"! "ROLLIN", THE EMPIRE MIX, COMES ON AND CARNEY COMES OUT FROM THE BACK. INSTEAD OF HIS USUAL APPROACH, HE SLOWLY MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE RAMP AND HAS A MUCH DIFFERENT DEMEANOR ABOUT HIM. Hudson: "The King of the Ring tournament has always been a launching pad towards super stardom for guys like Jason Oliver and the man we just saw become Universal champion, Joe Corey". HTM: "Ah but first... we need to get ready for a war. The fans have voted for a First Blood match and I don't think these two men would want it any other way"! Hudson: "The second this.... Empire was formed, Jordan Rockwell became a clear target. The history between Carney and Rockwell goes way back and Carney claims he has been waiting for this very moment his entire career". "SAVE ME" BY BURN HALO LEADS INTO BY FAR THE BIGGEST POP OF THE NIGHT. JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT AND HAS A LOOK OF SHEER DETERMINATION IN HIS EYES. HTM: "And he has.... he has the backing of The Empire and the thought that he can't lose! All he has to do is make Rockwell bleed"! Hudson: "Well lost in all of that is the fact that I know.... I know that Rockwell can't wait for this either! He has been the lone superstar to try and defy The Empire who is unlike any group we've ever seen.... mainly because they control the company from the ground up"! HTM: "Which is why Rockwell has no chance in my opinion! Carney has the best cornerman you can possibly have"! RIGHT AS ROCKWELL GOT INTO THE RING, CARNEY ATTACKED HIM AND THE BELL SOUNDED TO START THE MATCH. First Blood Match Jordan Rockwell vs. Carney Carney's early attack only provided him a short advantage as Rockwell fought through the blows and responded with several of his own. After a kick to the midsection, he tried to hit "Extreme Measures" but Carney pushed him away and tried to pull him into the "C-Drive". Both moves were well scouted as Rockwell countered and got free. He threw a clothesline which Carney ducked but after running the ropes, Rockwell delivered his sit-out spinebuster. Without any delay, he pounced on Carney, drilling him with several shots, trying to bust him open. Carney did all he could to protect his face before squirming free. He then kicked Rockwell in the face while lying on his back before rolling out of the ring. But as he tried to get a quick breather, the relentless Rockwell came outside with him and the two men traded punches right in front of the announce tables. Rockwell grabbed Carney and flung him onto the Rampage announce position, sending J.R. and The King scrambling. He then went and grabbed a steel chair from nearby the timekeeper's table but before he could use it Carney came flying off the announce table right onto him. He then grabbed the chair and used it to press down on the throat of 'The Franchise'. After pulling the chair away, Carney stomped right on his face. He then got him up and threw him into the barricade before grabbing him and pushing him into the apron. Carney was able to roll Rockwell under the bottom rope and into the ring before going towards the turnbuckle and to the top rope. He measured Rockwell before flying off with a Swanton Bomb but Rockwell moved out of the way. With the sound of the cheering crowd behind him, he got up and began to rip into Carney, smashing him with a succession of 20 or more unanswered punches. Referee Charles Robinson moved in to get a good look at Carney before Rockwell came running into the corner with a Masahiro Chono style kick to the face! Just then, Alba Rios came running down the ramp. She had some sort of pipe or some other sort of weapon in her hand. But before she could involved herself physically, Beth Phoenix came out to a huge cheer. She spun Alba around and dropped her with a forearm to the face. She then picked up the weapon and threw it to Rockwell. That brought out Cris Henning and Devon Wade, followed by Matt Morgan. Henning and Wade got into the ring and both felt the wrath of the pipe to the midsection but Morgan was able to catch Rockwell with the Carbon Footprint. Rockwell looked to be in trouble until, shockingly, Randy Orton came out. Wade and Henning both tried to attack him outside the ring, but both were put down with the "RKO". Morgan came outside the ring and threw a clothesline, but Orton caught him with an RKO as well! The crowd was going crazy as Rockwell started to get up. But about that time, the familiar man in the mask came out from the crowd and he grabbed the pitcher of water that was at the announce table. He got into the ring and busted the glass pitcher over Rockwell's head and he never saw it coming. Rockwell fell back to the mat, his face spattered in blood. Robinson turned to see this and called for the bell. Match Time: 8:55 Hudson: "No..... not like this! Who the hell is that guy"?! HTM: "Rockwell thought he had all bases covered.... and he nearly did! Randy Orton has to be out of his mind"! "ROLLIN'" HIT AGAIN AS CARNEY GOT UP AND RAISED BOTH ARMS, LETTING OUT A BOISTEROUS YELL IN CELEBRATION. ALBA RIOS CAME INTO THE RING AND JUMPED INTO HIS ARMS AS WADE, HENNING AND MORGAN GOT IN TO JOIN THE VICTORY PARTY. ORTON STARED FROM THE RAMP ALONG WITH BETH PHOENIX. Hudson: "It does appear that Rockwell has someone gotten some help to battle The Empire.... but it wasn't enough tonight"! HTM: "It's a losing battle, Hudson! One he'll never win"! AS THE EMPIRE STOOD AROUND ROCKWELL IN THE RING, THE LIGHTS IN THE ARENA WENT OUT. A BELL TOLLED NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE. THE SOUND OF THUNDER WAS THEN HEARD BEFORE THE LIGHTS CAME BACK ON. THE EMPIRE GOT OUT OF THE RING AS ROCKWELL STOOD UP, HIS FACE BLOODY AND HIS EYES FULL OF RAGE. HTM: "What the hell"?! Hudson: "That can mean only one thing.... it appears Rockwell may have even more help than we thought"! HTM: "This should not overshadow what Carney just did! Carney was victorious tonight and that's what we should be talking about..... not that guy"! J.R.: "A very volatile situation there guys and we're now ready to move from that to another one. The TWF World title, something only a handful of superstars have had the privilege to win, is about to be on the line between two of the top wrestlers of this generation.... take a look". A VIDEO PACKAGE IS SHOWN MAPPING OUT THE CAREERS OF MATT CRUZ AND JASON OLIVER. FROM THE POLL FOR "BREAKOUT SUPERSTAR OF THE YEAR" IN 2005, TO OLIVER WINNING THE WORLD TITLE FROM RANDY ORTON, TO MATT CRUZ WINNING THE 2010 ROYAL RUMBLE, TO CRUZ THEN BECOMING THE WORLD CHAMPION, ALSO BY DEFEATING ORTON. THAT IS FOLLOWED UP WITH SOME CLIPS AND SOUND BYTES OF OLIVER AND CRUZ TALKING ABOUT THIS MATCH. "FLY FROM THE INSIDE" BY SHINEDOWN PLAYS AND JASON OLIVER COMES OUT, GARNERING MOSTLY UNANIMOUS BOOS. OLIVER IS WEARING A "KING OF STING" T-SHIRT. J.R.: "Jason Oliver wants two things tonight, King. He wants to regain the TWF World title while at the same time proving he is the greatest wrestler in the TWF". Lawler: "Well he got the type of match where he can prove that. A San Jose street fight wouldn't have given him that opportunity, but there is only one way to win this one and that is to make your opponent give up". CHEERS START TO BUILD BEFORE "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE STARTS UP AND MATT CRUZ COMES OUT ALONG WITH MARIA TO A HUGE POP. HE HAS THE WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST AND IS DRESSED IN HIS USUAL BURNT ORANGE AND BLACK. J.R.: "A tremendous ovation here for the World champion and King, as much as Oliver wants this match, Cruz wants it to". Lawler: "You talk about being on a roll.... no one in the TWF has been on a bigger roll since the Royal Rumble where this man overcame a list of twenty nine others to win"! J.R.: "Before going on to WrestleMania where he defeated Randy Orton for the World title and do ya remember how he won that match...... that's right, by submission". Lawler: "This is gonna be a war, J.R...... I think the fans did good with this one". J.R.: "Jimmy Korderas, longtime senior official on Rampage, will have the referee duties tonight. The only way to win is by submission.... by tapout..... by making your opponent quit". Submission Match for TWF World Title Challenger: Jason Oliver vs. Matt "Madik" Cruz w/ Maria The bell sounded and Cruz got right down into a crouched stance, reaching out at Oliver who kept his distance. Oliver moved in quickly into a standing waistlock but Cruz caught him with a back elbow to the mouth. Cruz got free and ran the ropes, ducking a clothesline before going low to the knee of Oliver. He picked his leg and threw Oliver into the air before jumping right on him with a front facelock. Cruz then displayed his superior mat ability, rolling Oliver in the facelock before releasing it and pulling both of Oliver's arms behind him. Oliver was able to stretch his left foot to the ring ropes, showing great ring presence and forcing a break of the hold. Cruz allowed him to get up before shooting in with a double leg but Oliver smashed him with an elbow to the back of the head as he came in. Cruz then ate a nasty superkick and Oliver went to work on the right leg of Cruz, grabbing it and yanking it in several different directions. Oliver then pulled Cruz's right leg up and just slammed it into the mat. Cruz immediately grabbed his kneecap before Oliver rolled him over and then tried to go for a figure four leg lock. But Cruz countered by pulling Oliver into a small package. Even though pinfalls didn't count, it got Cruz free. Rather than try and work for another submission hold, Cruz went into his power came, lifting Oliver onto his shoulder and delivering a running powerslam. From there, he got Oliver up and hit a pendulum backbreaker. Cruz was beginning to feel it and the crowd recognized all the momentum he had. He was able to get Oliver into the "Colorado Cloverleaf" and he had it in tight. Korderas got right down on the mat but Oliver wouldn't tap out. He actually tried to bridge up, but Cruz sat down deeper on the hold. Somehow, Oliver willed his way towards the ropes. Cruz couldn't believe it, as no one had ever done this in his signature hold. But Oliver was able to get there, breaking the hold. Cruz grabbed Oliver and tried to drag him to the center of the ring, but Oliver rolled over and kicked him right in the face. He tried to pull Cruz into a Fujiwara armbar, but Cruz was able to escape the attempt. With both men on their feet, Oliver snuck in a kick but Cruz countered a go behind with a superb german suplex. He then went to the top rope, measuring the challenger. Cruz then hit an amazing moonsault in which he got some great elevation. Under normal circumstances, the match would've probably ended there, but not only did he still need a submission hold, Cruz landed very awkwardly on his right knee. Cruz then went behind Oliver in a seated position and got his legs around his waist. He grabbed his elbow, obviously looking for a submission move we haven't seen before. Almost in a panic, Oliver hammered his right kneecap with a closed fist using his free hand. He did that just as Cruz was going for a choke and that got him free. Oliver was now able to get on the Figure 4 leg lock, in the center of the ring. Cruz yelled in pain as Oliver had the hold on tight. Seeing he couldn't break the hold, Cruz was able to roll it over into a counter and now Cruz had control with a variation of the Sharpshooter. Oliver got his legs free to alleviate the pressure and tried to catch a break on the ropes. But Cruz came from behind, looking for another german suplex. Oliver held the ring ropes to prevent it and after using a go behind, he slapped on his rear naked choke. Oliver has finished matches with this hold before but Cruz was able to counter by flinging Oliver forward over his head, sending him hard to the floor. Oliver slowly got up and when he did, he made a move towards Maria. That brought Cruz towards the edge of the ring and it was exactly what Oliver wanted. After tripping the champion up, Oliver quickly pulled him over to the corner, smashing Cruz's right leg against the ring post. But from there, Oliver got Cruz in another figure four, but this time, it was around the ring post! The crowd was stunned as they listened to the agonizing pain come from the lungs of Cruz. Still, he refused to give up. Maria looked to have tears in her eyes, realizing Cruz had no way out. Finally, she made her way over, but Korderas ordered her away as Oliver wrenched back on the sickening hold. Korderas noticed Cruz was no longer responding and he called for the bell, realizing the pain had caused Cruz to black out. Match Time: 17:16 J.R.: "Wait a minute.... what's happened here? Why did the bell sound"? Lawler: "I think Oliver has won it! Yes.... I think he has"! J.R.: "Cruz didn't submit"! Lilian Garcia: "Ladies and gentlemen, due to the fact that Matt Cruz passed out, your new TWF World champion..... Jason Oliver"! WITH THAT ANNOUNCEMENT, "FLY FROM THE INSIDE" PLAYED AGAIN AND KORDERAS GOT THE BELT, HANDING IT TO OLIVER. Lawler: "New champ! New champ"! J.R.: "For the second time, Jason Oliver has become TWF World champion and as much as I hate to see Matt Cruz lose his precious title, I'm glad to see that hold is off because that could've done permanent damage"! OLIVER WALKED UP THE RAMP WITH THE BELT WHILE IN THE RING, MARIA HELPED CONSOLE CRUZ, WHO WAS IN A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF PAIN. Lawler: "Anarchy Rulz has turned into a nightmare for Matt Cruz"! J.R.: "There will be other days for Matt Cruz. On this night, Jason Oliver was the better man. We hope you've enjoyed the TWF's fully interactive event"!
