THE EVIL REDNECK

Ichabod is quietly laughing to himself about Jug's last promo. The man seems to have no grasp on reality whatsoever. Anything Ichabod says, Juggernaut addresses and then dismisses. Its almost as if Jug doesn't take him very seriously. That's fine though, because underestimation is one of the many keys to the element of surprise. Also, he was delusional; Ichabod's last promo had shown nothing of his fall to recieve the head injury--the only thing it showed was the aftermath, the result... Ichabod's bandaged head. Yet, Juggernaut said he laughed when Ichabod fell. Interesting, considering there was no way he saw that... it wasn't even on camera. Its just the product of an unhealthy delusional mind, much like the thought that he would win the bout coming up.

The illuminescent quality of the cave could play tricks on one's eyes, as Ichabod found out earlier. Steve had strapped him down with his own pack and filled it with rocks. Then he made him scale the wall of the cavern, telling him that when he reached the top, the training session was over. Ichabod had thought this easy enough, he walked up to the wall and started climbing. But nearly ten feet up, the illusions brought on by the bright rocks set in. Nearly ever diamond sparkled, and every bright light set off shadows on the wall, shadows that looked like foot and handholds. More than a few times, Ichabod slipped on his way up. It took him nearly two hours to scale the massive wall, and in the end he was nearly forty eight feet to the right of where he started. Getting down had been even harder; about fifteen feet down he'd just decided to drop to the floor.

Unlike me, Jug, you won't overcome your illusions. Every sparkle and false light you see in your success creates a shadow for me to jump out at you from. Every foothold you think you have over me will turn into a fall that you never anticipated. You're not very fall from falling now, and I will continue climbing to the top while you drop to the cold stone floor of failure.

You acknowledge my wins over your "legends," yet you make excuses without really knowing the facts. Ghost never given a chance in RDW? What a joke. Ghost was the golden boy in RDW. The former prez had him so built up it made one sick to think of it. He'd been given every title shot, whether he deserved it or not. He was the annoying rash of RDW to its wrestlers, no matter how successful or talented they were, Ghost was always given a chance to take them down. He usually did, sure. But not me, he couldn't touch me. He was given chance after chance to stop my bullettrain rush to the top. And time after time, he was knocked off the tracks like some stupid cow who just gets in the way. Be careful, Juggernaut, or you will end up being the Ghost of WXW, the one who was on top of it all until some young upstart came along and stole your glory. The golden boy turned laughing stock. You dont' know me, Jug, you don't know what I'm capable of. All you know is I talk big talk and so far I've been unstoppable here.

And then BG, you think I just kicked a man off of him. No, no, thats not my style. I did more than break up a pin. I nearly killed this guy, time after time. He constantly swore that if I got involved one more time, if I stepped into one of his matches, he'd kick my ass. Did he do it? Hell no, I still came out, attacked him, embarassed him, hurt him. BG, the man you consider a legend, couldn't even get the job done, what in the hell makes you think you are going to?

Juggernaut, all you are doing is ignoring the inevitable. Once we step into that ring, there will be no stopping me. I'll attack you, embarass you, hurt you. You don't know what's coming, and you don't want to know because it scares you. You know you are grasping at straws now and that your hold on that strap is getting looser and looser. Soon, you will have to let it go.

Just accept it, Jug. Look at you, you're pathetic. You might as well stop trying to get control and just let go. LET GO! Give into fate, you can't change it. What will you wish you'd done before you lost your title? Defended it against someone worth it? Not good enough. I'm the only one worth it, and you will not defend it against me. I'm leaving the show that night one step closer to the top and one strap richer in tow. You? You're going to leave with the wrenching agony of defeat weighing down on you. I can see you now, face down in the ring, wondering if you can get up, not really caring if you can, not really wanting to get up. Wishing the laughter of the fans you hear in your head would stop. Wishing your heartbeat could slow down. Wishing you had just called in sick. And then what? Nothing, nothing at all. Because you didnt' prepare for this. You sat around and ran your mouth, beat up nurses, and snubbed your fans.

But you know, I'm a sport. And just to show its not some fluke when I beat you, I'll turn right back around and give you a rematch, whattya say? You arent' ready for this, I know, but you better get ready fast quick and in a coddamn hurry, or I'm going to take everything you have away from you and laugh at you when I'm done. You got it?

Ichabod stares into the camera intensly as it fades to black.
