The day has worn to a close and the music upstairs has gotten loud enough to be heard below levels. Back in the WAR council room, Deidre sips on a Cappucinno while Ichabod reads over some information he's collected. On the television set up in the room plays the Dick vs. Justin Payne match. Ichabod explains his situation with his phallic enemy.
Dick has been on the backburner every since Jecht X took his shiny precious away from him. He's about blind with fury about that one. Have you seen him since that happened? He's gotten downright dirty about the way he fights. He nearly killed Nester at Ring Wars, and then went on to fight Payne in a two falls match... that's basically three matches in less than two hours. Seems like a pretty tough guy, right?

Smart girl. He's no tougher than anyone else. The best thing I ever seen him do was go toe to toe with Justin Payne a few weeks back to defend that old used up WOW Title. The only reason he looked good was because he was up against Payne. Payne makes anyone look good... I mean that in a good way, because he settles for nothing but the best show he can do.
Me, I've done it all. I went all the way through King Karnage last year... he hasn't even been in it I don't think. I've run the Mill twice. I've been up against people like Reverend, Wicked D, and survived. Who is Dick? I ask you again, who is Dick? Some guy who just beat up his crazy ass partner and is on the rebound from losing gold. I swat at guys like him.
Deidre watches the video of the Ring Wars Trivia/Number 1 Contenders match.

Ichabod stands up and leans over to give Deidre a kiss. As he leaves, Deidre picks up the remote and rewinds the tape. As Ichabod opens the door, Chandra is standing there about to grab the knob. Ichabod smiles at her as she returns it. She walks in and nods to Deidre as Ichabod closes the door behind him.
