After the incident last week which found Ichabod with a concussion and no recollection of his whereabouts or what happened, Steve had decided to add his own secret cameras to the WOW repertoire. Now he had nearly 24/7 surveillance on Ichabod, still respecting his privacy as much as possible of course. As he now sits back and watches the tapes, he shakes his head in disbelief as he logs his findings into a small notebook:
02-26-02 2:15am~ After Leaving Malice in his truck, Ichabod headed toward the suburbs and drove unstopping until he passed a house where a large number of vehicles were parked. making his way inside the house, he helped himself to some beer and seated himself in front of a big screen television. When one of the partiers, apparantly the tenant and host of the party, a man in his teens, popped in a tape of a football game, Ichabod looked around. The house was full of high school students who had apparantly decided to throw another improptu party in celebration of their crosstown victory last weekend. As the final touchdown run played on the screen, Ichabod began to blink and hold his head as if in some pain. After the runner scored, Ichabod leaned foward with his head in both hands. A nearby beer guzzler grabbed his shoulder and asked if he was ok. He pulled Ichabod up, and slapped him to bring him to. IChabod turned suddenly and grabbed the first thing that he could lay his hands on, which happened to be a baseball bat. He swung it and crashed it into the controls of the pool heater. The air tanks and gas powered coils can't take the strange new commands, and the signals scramble, causing everything to over heat. In a rush of boiling water, the heaters explode and the double sliding doors implode, sending shards of glass--some the size of baseball gloves--whirling into the party. The shards find their way into the bodies of at least four students, and one even beheads a player, whose bald head rolls past one of Steve's cameras. Steve gasps in shock. The events that follow include Ichabod setting a long set of french doors on fire, using a harpoon gun to castrate a man, spitting beer in a girls face, and then punching her glasses into her eyes, and firing a flare gun into the stomach of one unlucky girl. As the fire raged, Ichabod threw one man into the pool of boiling water, and set the automated cover to seal him in. As Ichabod left the party, he chained the gates, imprisoning the rest of the high schoolers in the blazing inferno. On the way to his truck, he passed a stoner who's only reaction was to remark on the killer party he was missing on the inside. Upon his return to the facility, Ichabod confessed to not remembering anything after the show at Malice.
03-01-02 3:28pm~Ichabod dragged an anonymous man into an abandoned asylum and across the threshold. The victim (Steve lacked a better word for the man in his logbook) tried to resist, so Ichabod threw the man upon a table in the foyer and tossed the nearly full beer in his hand up toward the ceiling. The beer shattered a stained glass skylight there, and the pieces shot straight down toward the table, nearly impaling the man in more than one place. A rather large chunk of glass split his cheek and stuck upright in the ebony table top. Ichabod grabbed the now stunned man and dragged him into the hall, through a doorway to the basement, and down into the bowels of the asylum. He dragged him into a room with a large metal machine. It is a saturation chamber. Ichabod opened the door and tossed the man inside, slamming the door behind him. He pulled a lever on full power, and left the screaming man behind.
03-05-02 11:23am~Ichabod sat in a country tavern after one of Steve's training sessions. The training involved one of those quaint country windmills. Ichabod's arms had been tied to a sail, and his legs anchored to the ground. The wind had kicked up to beyond normal, and the tops of trees buckled under the gales. Steve watched with satisfaction as Ichabod was stretched, and finally overpowered the sail, pulling it in the direction opposite the wind. He had granted Ichabod a break, which Ichabod chose to spend doing his second favorite past time, drinking. As he sat at the bar, he suddenly grabbed his head and leaned way to far back on his barstool. He crashed to the floor. The bartender came over the counter and tried to check on ichabod. thinking Ichy was just another patron who was too drunk, the bartender helped to revive him, and then help him to his truck. Coming out of the stupor, Ichabod slammed the bartender's face into the side of the truck, knocking him unconscious, and then shoved him into the truck. When the unfortunate bartender awoke, he found himself tied to a sail on the windmill, staring at the upside down face of Ichabod. once he got his bearings, he realized that he was the one who was upside down, and Ichabod was crouching near his head, which was only about four inches from the ground. Ichabod only grinned, and stood up and walked toward the doorway of the windmill. He lit a Newport with a zippo, and tosses it into the ramshackle building. As he walked away, the bartender looked into the musty room. by the light of the zippo and scant sunlight, he could see gallons upon gallons of gasoline. As the wind picked up, the sails began to turn, and the flame was blown into a stream of gas leaking out of one of the cans. The bartender began to scream for mercy, but Ichabod continued to walk as if he didn't hear him. So far out in the country, no one else could hear him either. ichabod stepped up into the truck and drove away as the interior of the windmill caught flame and the sails continued to turn, oblivious to their passenger.
Steve has seen enough. He stops the tape and puts the pen into the spiral of the notebook. He turns on the screen to watch the camera that monitors Ichabod's movements. He sees Ichabod in the gym, going through a rather routine set of squats. Ichabod drops the squatting bar suddenly, and grabs his head. Steve nearly drops the book. ichabod collapses on the floor. Steve jumps up so fast the chair beneath him falls backward. He darts toward the door only pausing to grab his stun gun...
