The arena goes quiet as Dick Gazinya himself steps out onto the ramp with mic in hand and walks down to the ring. It has been outfitted with two podiums, each with a mic hookup on it.

Michael D.- Its time for the News and Rumors showdown.

Hank- Yeah, but what the hell is Dick Gazinya of all people doing out here?

Dick- Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to announce and host the first annual nWo/WoW Year in Review Speech Showdown.

The fans cheer wildly. Its impossible to tell if its for the event or just the added bonus of Dicks first nWo televised appearance in nearly a year.

Dick- Thank you very much. At this time, I'd like to introduce this years contestants. From the highly acclaimed and newly resurrected WoW and its very own News and Rumors site, I'd like to introduce the man who weekly puts nWo to shame with his indepth coverage and even uncoverage of even the tiniest bit of knowledge about whats happening in these sister federations, Frankie Fanboy!

Fanboy steps out onto the stage with a crisp, clear plastic bound folder in hand. As Slaves on Dope play "Go" he walks down to the ring confidently and climbs in. Dick and Fanboy shake hands, their business relationship no secret to the world. Fanboy waves to the fans and takes his place at one of the podiums.

Dick- And his opponent, the embarassingly fat midget who Ichabod got into his head and chose to represent nWo's news site with trash rumors that are unfounded and ill reported, and gets his information from a circus of clowns with funny names and reports it like its actually true. Ladies and Gentleman, the man who ripped off my name, Tricky Dicky.

Suddenly an army of crewmen with cameras, make up specialists, and hair crews rush out onto the ramp and into the ring. Fanboy and Dick look confused at this ruckus as a bunch of Egyptians come out in ceremonial dress and lead a complicated dance/procession down to the stage to Slaves on Dope's "Thanks for Nothing". Jugglers, acrobats, animals, people passing out balloons, majorettes, gymnasts, clowns, motorcycles, and magicians all are included in this procession. Finally, borne yellow litter carried by 12 midgets, Tricky Dicky appears and is carried down the ramp and set at the foot of the ring. The midgets all bow and back away slowly as the entertainment makes its way through the crowd and pumps them up.

Tricky steps in the ring and to the other podium.

Tricky- Come on guys! This is a celebration! Its nWo's Birthday! You guys are boring like your columns.

Dick- OK then. I hope you have your speech prepared, Tricky?

Tricky motions to the crewmen and one wheels a teleprompter into the ring. The makeup and hair crews rush in and prepare Tricky for his speech. Dick rolls his eyes and Fanboy shakes his head sadly. Dick removes a coin from his pocket and shows one side to each reporter, showing them which side of the coin they will represent. He flips the coin and lets it fall.

Dick- Tricky will go first

The fans scream in approval as Tricky signals to the teleprompter.

nWo, otherwise known as the Netlink Wrestling Organisation, a federation that has managed to produce and sign, some of the biggest names in e-fed history. But where did it all start for this great and respected company? Tricky Dicky has the only story you have to hear on history of nWo, but I'm sure seeing as it's Ring Wars that Fanboy will HAVE to say something!

The first nWo card was aired on the second of February of this year that is 2003 however, nWo was in the making since September 2002 following the demise of WoW which at the time was being run by one President James! Following the loss of many great talent leaving the WoW shores, Jame closed the WoW, heavily in debt to many people, with more than one bounty on his head! Sounds like your usual Hollywood movie and it gets worse after Ichabod fakes his own death.

President Darren came back onto the scene though after been kidnapped by Zandor in a different time zone...weird I know but things get stranger. Not only did Darren return but he unvield himself from the demeanour of Old Man Gazinya and revealed to the world that he was infact the son of Dick Gazinya! In the same interview that we found this out Darren also revealed to Reverand Gardner that he would begin the construction of a new organisation with his emergency funds...a federation Bigger and more Powerful than WoW, he also invited all the former staff, EVEN Dick to join his newest empire.

Dick catches up with his father, Darren and warns him of President James and tells Darren if James comes to him that Dick should be contacted to finish the job on the guy that broke Dicks kneck!

It doesn't take long before James catches up with Darren and asks his former friend for help. Darren is unsure, but James threatens to kill Darren if he doesnt help him! Suddenly Ichabod and Brian Graves turn up at Darrens offices, James grabs Ichabod and threatens to kill him. In a moment Ichabod breaks free and Darren shoots Ichabod with a gun.

The guy who ran WoW out of business was now dead and the Gazinya family were free from President James....free to move on with their business along with Ichabod and Graves so it seemed...

February 2nd 2003, an historic night in nWo history, the first Malice of the nWo era a show where all the focus was on the nWo's first Pay Per View, Gladiator. With talent like Sweet Cheapshots, Triple X, Justin Payne, PKA, Necron, Judas, Ichabod, Brian Graves and Dick Gazinya on the scene the nWo had many more great talent. Obviously the first few shows were pretty big with some of the original WoW showing and ultimatley Gladiator was set, where the first nWo champion was going to be crowned, and the chance to make history was fullfilled!

It came at the end of February, months of waiting and the Darren Zillaman was back at the head of a wrestling company, producing this first nWo big bucks pay per view. On this card in a dark match a future nWo star Christian Wright showed and lost, but no body cared about the dark match it was all on the Gladiator match. Now building up to this pay per view Dick Gazinya had been causing havoc with Nester and his friend PKA. The Gladiator match was tought fought however the when it came to the last two fighters Dick and PKA were to square off to the title, man to man? Well not likely because on this night Dick showed that he truely will never be nothing but a chump and a cheat when his father Darren, screwed over PKA allowing Dick to hit his friend with Brass Knucks and pin PKA to become the nWo Champion! Had the Gazinya era begun? In a word...NO!

Two words spell the early downfall of Dick and the Gazinya family....Elite and Rammer! The Malice after Ring Wars Rammer became the second nWo Champion in a World title match full of run ins, most mentionable from Ichabod who branded Ichabod AND Brian Grave (who got Sweet branded on his ass). With the run ins it, Dick gets hit with a chair shot, allowing Rammer to pin Dick and end his title reign at 12 days! Now let me make a point here, my man Quake was brandished a loser for dropping the belt to Christian Wright after 12 days BUT RAMMER? Good on ya Dick and the family!

Rammer managed to hold onto his title belt up to the next big PPV which was Target Locked and to determine the Number One contendership it pitted Rammer and Cheapshots vs Brian Graves and Dick. Against the odds The Cheap One got the pin fall and earned his shot at Rammer, much to the distress of Daddy Gazinya Darren who after the loss put Brian Graves and Dick together in a hell in a cell match, with the stipulation added that if Dick lost then he'd leave!

April 16th 2003, Worchester, Target Locked, the second PPV of nWo and a big double main event. Dick Gazinya saved his career in a sickening hell in a cell match against Brian Graves almost ending Graves career in what could be one of the sickest bumps in nWo or WoW history. All eyes turned from Dick to the main event which started with a shock as Triple X was added to the match as the special guest referee to neither Rammer or Cheapshots delight. The match could go down as an nWo pay per view classic as both men battled hard with the odd moment of suspicious reffiing from Triple X, however Target Locked was the night the third nWo Champion would be crowned after Cheapshots made Rammer tap in the middle of the ring, and Triple X gave Cheapshots the title and raised his arm the winner at the end of another successful PPV

The Era of Cheapness had become the Extreme Legend made it back from the brink of a career ending match with Dick Gazinya, to face Cheapshots in a House of Mirrors match at Jacked Up against Cheapshots. Perhaps one of the most inventive gimmick matches in recent memory, Cheapshots agreed to add the House of Mirrors to the match argueing that Brian Graves didn't have the drawing power to make the main event at a ppv special! Cheapshots went into the pay per view confident as well as having a tag title belt shot too. Now, President Ichabod opened the PPV giving Brian Graves big praise as well as announcing King Karnage the following PPV. Earlier in the night Cheapshots had gained a tag title belt but at the end of the night Brian Graves was all that mattered and in the strangest end to a PPV ever, Brimstone spoke over the arena microphones. This rattles both men as the Hall of Mirrors reached the last moments before it's explosives are set to go off. Cheapshots exits the House first retaining his title closely followed by Brian. With both men out the House of Mirrors exploded causing chaos throughout the whole arena. Both participants dissapeared as the arena were left wondering over the return of Brimstone who hand not been seen since the WoW days.

Cheapshots was still champion, and on the first Malice after Target Locked Cheapy announced a raffle on the card to decide who he would face at King Karnage for the belt, anyone but Brian Graves he said could get a shot. Also on this same Malice came the arrival of the greatest nWo Partnership of all time...8th of June 2003 marked the arrival of QVC, Quake and Vyle, who participated in the Hot Potatoe Battle Royal but lost out to Bloodbath. Elsewhere on the card Brian Graves was in every ball in Cheapshots's lottery thanks to Ichabod screwing with Cheapys lottery.

Cheapshots however picked up an injury before King Karnage and instead the main event was booked with Brian Graves still with the title shot against Weltmeister and Juggernaut. King Karnage and the nWo Championship on the line inside 2 cages with (flying monkeys???) and a barb wire ladder leading to the vacant title and a razor crown for the winner! In a seriously Brutal match up almost getting this PPV banned on DVD, Brain Graves became the 4th ever nWo Champion and perhaps the most deserved nWo champion after months of rivalry with Cheapshots. Mainstreamer came to the nWo at the end of the card and pushed Brian Graves from the top of the cell. Claiming he would soon take the belt!

It seemed like a new turnaround in nWo, No more Cheapshots, NDE, Elite however, Weltmeister, QVC, Brian Graves, Christian Wright and many were all flourishing. Meanwhile Mainstreamer had returned into television and straight into a Pay Per View main event...along with 5 other men in the Run of the Mill match. Mainstreamer didn't stop ploughing through the 6 participants in the Run of the Mill match in the Malices leading up to the event, even helping Quake beat Ichabod and Christian Wright in a Triple Threat before the PPV. Brian Graves however had time from television after his cage bump at King Karnage and went into the next Pay Per view Evolution. The main event was to come from an outside location in a mill, for only the second time in nWo/WoW history, but that wasn't the only big match on the card. The Superhero battle royal was the first of it's kind and hasn't been seen since. At this time also the nWo was taking part in the NWA an interfed promotion in which the nWo had a chance to show its superioty, nWo were entered as Canada and many stars were ranked in the fed however the NWA crumbled with the nWo taking the tag titles from the NWA.....

Back to Evolution and the Run of the Mill which is hotly anticipated to pick up the Match of the Year at the Golden Ring Awards later this month. This match was definantly nothing anyone could expect and at the end, it fittingly came down to Mainstreamer and Ichabod. Ichabod was trying to shoot Mainstreamer for killing his mentor but Mainstreamer somehow avoided the fire and hit a Streamliner on Ichabod to claim his nWo Championship getting to the top in amazingly a month! With Mainstreamer as champion and Ichabod in tatters the nWo needed help fast it seemed....

It was after Run of the Mill that Mainstreamer also dissapeared from the nWo with an injury once more leaving the nWo championship in jeapordy....however sensationally Mainstreamer HANDED the nWo Championship title to Quake, a move no one could figure. Either way, as a rising nWo star Quake took the belt not in honour of Mainy but for his own greed. However Quake dropped the title to Christian Wright in a four way match on Malice 5th October. Weltmeister had risen through the nWo after losing out at Evolution but came back with a number one contendership and the chance to face Christian Wright for the nWo Championship at the next nWo PPV New Force Rising

It was only a few weeks before NFR however that WoW superstars had begun to emerge among the nWo stars as well as Darren Zillamans return to nWo after almost 8 months out! At the time no one was sure how WoW would grow but of course we now all know that the WoW is indeed a fed in it's own right like the old days and we know that the real fireworks haven't even gone off yet! Back to New Force Rising

At New Force Rising Three Forces Rose. One were the forces of QVC with the NFR screw job in which Quake and Shane Ryder joined forces, the second was the force of Weltmeister who despite heavy competition from Christian Wright sensationally (or for some) gained his first nWo title in the form of the nWo CHAMPIONSHIP and finally the newest force rose in the form of the Mystery Men who kidnapped President Ichabod.....

So where does that bring us folks.....it's been a long journey from President James's shooting, to Darren creating the WoW, to Darren handing the nWo to Ichabod, all the champions, the WoW's rebirth and now.....we come to Ring Wars! I have to say that in all my years as a reporter the nWo's current state is the best I have seen any fed, I can't name all the talent because it would take too long but I think ALL of them know, nWo and WoW that they have a chance in this place to be a part of that history....to join the ranks of the nWo and WoW greats that is nothing to be laughed at....long may it continue!

The fans roar and applaud for Tricky's speech.

Michael D.- Not bad... not bad at all, Frank.

Hank- What the... its Hank, Mike. You know that. And yes, Fanb2oy is going to have his hands full trying to top that.

Dick- Well... that was... ok I guess. Now, Frankie Fanboy, "WoW" 'em!

Frankie- That I shall, Dick.

Fanboy opens his folder and lays it on the podium before him.

Ladies and gentlemen, I know that you are on the edge of your seat in anticipation for the rest of tonight's pay-per-view... but if you would all bear with me here, I have a very special presentation that I'm sure all of you will enjoy and find extremely informative. I'm all about entertainment, so trust me when I say that you will all be quite impressed. Now, without further ado... I would like to share with you the past, present, and future of nWo and the new WoW.

nWo was founded primarily on the hopes and dreams that rested in a place we all know and love... Worldwide Online Wrestling. For years, WoW had the highest rated wrestling program, the most well-known talent, and the largest fan base in the history of the industry. WoW didn't just have some of the top names in the wrestling business... it had all of them! A legacy was then created. Darren was the king of the world. It was his creation and only seemed to function properly with him behind the helm. If he wasn't involved with WoW, then WoW would cease to be. WoW rested on his shoulders and his shoulders alone. It seemed to be some sort of curse that could never be broken. This was proven many times. WoW has had other presidents besides Darren... the likes of Ichabod and James beared the responsibilities as well as Smoke Dawg among others. During all of these stints, WoW plummeted in value and fan support. In all cases, Darren returned to save the day and turn the company around... except one. With Darren taken away by Zandor, who sent him in a time machine all the way back to 1959, James was now put in charge. Waves began to crash on the golden shores of WoW. Fans stopped showing up, television stations were growing uninteresting in WoW programming, and some of WoW's top names were signing deals with other promotions. To top things off, WoW officials came to a conclusion that they would prosper with the released of a trouble maker. They released released one of their top names left... Smoke Dawg. Shortly after this, someone mysteriously broke into WoW Headquarters and stole the entire collection of WoW Archives. Every video of every show that had ever been recorded under the WoW logo was gone. After months of investigations, authorities came to the conclusion that this was a lost cause and discontinued the search for those responsible. Many fingers pointed... and still do... towards Smoke Dawg. However, there were reports of individuals entering WoW HQ unauthorized... and quite frequently, the description fit that of a certain man we know as Darren Zillaman. Was he actually the one that destroyed WoW, his own creation? Did Darren, infact, sabatoge James? The truth may never be known. After that incident, WoW was officialy crashing at a rate faster than anyone could know. With an extreme lack of morale and a grim future, only mediocre shows could be expected. Given there were still stars on the roster like BG, Triple X, Rammer, Adam Lax, PKA, Rose, and B-Pac... the WoW was nothing compared to what it once was. During the last broadcasted Malice, the evening started off with a grim overtone. The WoWtron short circuted and the fireworks never arrived for the show. It ended, however, with a classic Triple X vs. Adam Lax towering inferno match which saw Triple X defend his Undisputed title successfully. On October 20, 2002, Darren made his return. Not to save WoW, however... but to announce it's closure. Many talent went to other companies, some decided to stay away for a while, and others planned on how to resurrect WoW into an even bigger establishment than it once was.

A good number of ex-WoW talent wound up in ECWL but none had much success there. After a big uprising, the ex-WoW talents packed their bags and left. Word got around quickly that a new federation was in works that would be headed by some of the old WoW guys. This excited most of those that heard the news. Others, however, saw this as a marketing scam to make a little money. Many superstars started hyping matches that would come from this new federations... including Dick Gazinya who was pushing for a huge match against BG. A few months after WoW's closing, mysterious epilogues began to surface featuring things that were happening involving the end of WoW. There were three total but the big shocker came during the second. Old man Gazinya, Dick Gazinya's father, made an appearance in it... and it was revealed that old man Gazinya was actually Prez Darren! Being sent back to 1950, Darren was forced to start over and made a family... the Gazinya's! It was official... WoW was returning... but this time, as the nWo!

On February 2, 2003, the first edition of nWo Malice was broadcasted from Toronto! The show featured two great matches between Nester DeFranco, who replaced an unavailable Dick Gazinya, versus BG and Ichabod versus Necron. Nester scored a tremendous upset by taking out BG and Necron defeating Ichabod. The crowd support was tremendous. On February 26th at the nWo pay-per-view, Gladiator, the very first nWo Champion was crowned when Dick Gazinya outlasted PKA in the Gladiator match. Only two weeks later, in a match marred with tons of interference, Rammer stole the title away from Dick Gazinya. Rammer would not hold the title long, either. Sweet Cheapshots made him tap in a match at Target Locked with Triple X as the ref. Cheapshots suffered a horrible knee injury and went an entire month without even defending his title, so he was stripped of it by Ichabod at King Karnage. Brian Graves then won the King Karnage match over Jugernaut and Weltmeister to become the new nWo Champion. Graves held the title until Evolution, where he lost it in the Run of the Mill (one of the most popular nWo matches to date) match to The Mainstreamer, who held the title a little over a month before handing it over to Quake. October 5, 2003 was a night to remember for Christian Wright as he won the title in a double elimination, no DQ match against Weltmeister, Quake, and PKA that had a crazy finish. Another short reign, as Wright only held the title for barely over a month before getting dethroned at New Force Rising by the monster, Weltmeister. As of right now, Weltmeister stands as your nWo Champion. But does anyone really care about nWo?

You may have noticed that I left out the biggest event in nWo history... I did that for a reason. I wanted to talk about all of the wonderful things involved with this occurance at one time. That wonderful occurance... is the rebirth of WoW! What caused the rebirth of WoW? Greed? Power? Money? You may be surprised. The entire deal with Darren being old man Gazinya was a hoax! The REAL Darren that we all knew and loved from WoW had been kidnapped. The "time travel incident" just opened up the big loop hole for the fake Darren to be planted. As soon as Darren managed to get himself freed from his captives, he saw what was going on with nWo and did something about it. Since he still had all of his old stocks and shares for Worldwide Online Wrestling, Darren awakened his powerful creation from the dead! WoW has risen and has it's own talent, staff, and fan base. Just very recently, WoW has gained it's very own title (which is worn by Ichabod as we speak) and has potential to gain more titles tonight at Ring Wars! With quite a few of their loyal participants back in the mix, there is no telling what WoW will do next, however, I guarantee that I will do my best to provide that information when it becomes available. There you have it, folks... from the closing of WoW, to the birth of nWo, all the way to the rebirth of WoW... but I'm guessing that you would all like to hear my predictions for the future of this nWo/WoW alliance? If not, then shut your ears.

2004 will bring nWo/WoW to a level in which the likes of wrestling programming has never seen! I expect the returns of some of the greatest superstars in the history of the business. A couple of names that I'll throw out at you are Smoke Dawg, Sweet Cheapshots, and of course, Dick Gazinya. Now, I say these returns will be in 2004... but you can expect to see some huge returns in the very near future. How do I know this? It's my job to know this. Not only that, it's my job to pay people to find this out for me. Also in store for the very near future are some very disappointing angles. As a matter of fact... expect some big disappointments in the following hours. You can also rest assured that a nostalgic stable will renew itsself and return to the top of the game. Look for some big rivalries to result in the wake of this stable's rekindling. Both the nWo and WoW titles will be tossed around all over the place in 2004. With the tons and tons of talent that are pouring in the doors and the tons and tons of talent that are already here, 9 out of 10 people will be championship material. I predict WoW to make a mighty stand that will result in huge problems in nWo headquarters. I expect that a war will arise and rage on until one company crumbles to the ground. Nothing will be lost, however... just one company's logo on the banner and the power of a certain few. This shouldn't happen for a good, long while, though. Be certain to expect that more and more superstars will get frusterated at title matches being oddly orchestrated gimmick matches instead of 1 on 1's and make a stand against that which will cause for more problems among the higher-ups. Expect a president to take another leave or have something awful happen to him and the other president assume control of both companies. Mystery guys should be plentiful and as always, end up being a huge disappointment. Johnny Vain and Seth Raide are going to make headlines... I'd love to see these guys fued. Triple X and Ichabod should have a very heated fued and I hope that it lasts a while becuase anything that these two are involved in, you can expect it to be big. The dead will be raised, believe it or not, in a particular story line... or so I've heard. Interfed fueds will hopefully become something we will all witness very shortly as PKA and B-Pac seem to have something brewing. Speaking of PKA, Aggravated Assault is coming to an abrupt end. Look for either PKA or Adam Payne to jump ship to WoW or either give up the companies altogether. The jobber division has been looking pretty decent lately so don't be surprised to see one or two of them jump over to the regular roster. Quake's dominant reign will continue to run rampant on nWo but look for several top names to step up and try to knock him down a few levels.

Folks, I hope you have enjoyed my presentation and I hope you learned a little bit more about the history that lies within these companies. I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support of nWo/WoW and for allowing me to continue running the WoW News & Rumors program. Without your support, we absolutely would not be here. Enjoy the rest of the show, and the rest of your evening.

The fans cheer wildly again. Dick holds his hand up to quiet the crowd.

Dick- A damn good review by Fanboy Frankie. Now I must have everyone quiet, because your cheers are going to determine the winner of this contest. Thank you. Now when I hold my hand over each head, I want you to cheer for the one you think delivered the best review.

Dick walks over to Tricky and puts his hand over his head. The fans go nuts screaming, but Dick cuts them off by walking over to Fanboy. He puts his hand over his head and the fans go nuts again. Dick holds his hand over Fanboys head for at least three times as long as he did for Tricky, but just as he drops it, Tricky raises his own hand over his head again, and the fans are still screaming their heads off. Tricky grins slyly. Dick rolls his eyes again.

Dick- Notwithstanding Tricky's obvious attempt to cheat, the winner is clearly, Frankie Fanboy!!

Tricky- Yeah I expected as much when I saw your ugly face out here hosting, Dick.

Frankie Fanboy- Don't be a sore loser, Tricky, when your show goes under, I'll offer you a spot on my writing staff, how's that sound?

Tricky goes to extend his hand looking dejected, but suddenly kicks into Frankie's gut! Before Dick can react, Tricky kicks Frankie in the face, sending him to his back. Tricky hits Frankie with a big splash and turns both podiums over on top of him. Dick advances on Tricky, but security is already in the ring, holding Dick back. Tricky picks up Dick's mic.

Tricky- Thanks for the offer Funboy, but I think I'll just stay tricky!!

The fans give a maddening pop as Tricky raises both arms in the air. Dick looks pissed. Tricky goes to the back as Dick helps Frankie up and leads him to the back as well.
