On May 6, 2000, the NFWA, under the operation of Prez Panther, opened its doors. It was a role-play based fed, boasting two weekly shows (the Friday Night Slam and In High Gear), monthly PPVs, great angles and arguably the best card results on the net. Despite staffing problems (which would ultimately spell the fed's downfall), the NFWA ran two-years strong and became home to some of the top RP'ers in all of e-wrestling. By the time it closed its doors in August of 2002, there was no doubt in the minds of many that this truly was THE BEST DAMN FED IN THE BIZ!
