CAL closes Posted on Nov 30, 2005

On December 31st, 2005, the Coalition of Affiliated Leagues closed its doors. Having split from the long defunct National Wrestling Council in October of 2001, the CAL was considered one of the top interfed groups in the world.

Fittingly enough, the Coalition World Title was laid to rest with Jeffy Andrews taking on reigning Champion TJ Killingbeck.

"Andrews and Killingbeck have been synonymous with the CAL since day one" said OLW President, Kai Scott. "Personal feelings towards both men and the CAL itself aside, I don't think the organization could have asked for a better sendoff."

With the CAL closed, PCW also has ceased operations. GDW and BACW remain open, and OLW intends to continue friendly relations with the both of them. BACW will remain the owner of the CAL Tag Titles, as they were in the posession of The Spanish Inquisition when the CAL closed.

OLW Presents: LINE ONE Posted on Nov 30, 2005
OLW has released the lineup for its first intra-territory Pay Per View. Line One will be airing in Mid December.

Line One features a double main event, with TJ Killingbeck and Jeffy "The Man" Andrews doing battle over the CAL World Title, and Freddy Phoenix and Daemon Curtis meeting to decide ownership of the OLW Heavyweight Title.

OLW is also expected to have its ownership change. Heidi took the commissioner job only through Line One, and she'll be returning to the ring afterwards. Who will be the new commissioner? Evidence points to someone with a track record in the IWA, and names like Alexander Zanatos and Set Malachai are being thrown around.
