Vengeance 2001

Scotty II Hotty and Albert vs Test and Christian
•I was surprised with this match. The ending few moments were great with the teamwork exhibited. Christian goes for the Unprettier on Scotty, but Albert hits the Baldo Bomb for the pinfall. Rating: 7.5/10

William Regal vs Edge(c)-Intercontinental Title
•Regal had the upperhand for most of the match. Regal got the brass knuckles and Edge speared him out of nowhere for the win. Rating: 7/10

Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy-Special Guest Referee Lita
•Pretty good match which told a great story. The fans didn't really want to see it though. In the end, Jeff hits the Swanton and makes the cover. Matt gets his foot on the ropes, but Lita doesn't seen it before Jeff pulls it off and wins. Rating: 7.5/10

Kane and the Big Show vs the Dudley Boyz(c)-Tag Team Titles
•Kane and the Big Show bore me so needless to say, them as a team is even worse! Not TOO bad of a match, but the normal "big man" match. The Dudleys retain their titles. Rating: 6/10

The Undertaker vs Rob Van Dam(c)-Hardcore Title
•This match was A LOT better than I had expected it to be. They fought through the crowd and then brawled on the stage. The Undertaker wins after a chokeslam off the stage through two tables. Not the best decision in my book, but great match. Rating: 8.5/10

Jacky vs Trish(c)-Women's Title
•Very short match. Trish got a little sloppy (no, not in THAT way), but she's improved a lot. Trish retains her title with a backslide...no comment. Rating: 6/10

Kut Angle vs Steve Austin(c)-WWF Title
•The winner of this match faces the winner of Rock/Jericho to unify the titles. I've always thought that these two put on great matches. This one wasn't as great, but still a good match. It was half way through the match when they started doing actual moves...tons of punching and chopping back and forth. Angle misses the moonsault and Austin fights back. Austin kicks out of the Olympic Slam and nails the stunner for the three count! Rating: 7.5/10

Chris Jericho vs the Rock(c)-"World" Title
•Don't ask me why they changed the WCW Title to the "World Title". That's very stupid if you ask me. Anyway, these two put on a great match. Jericho wasn't extremely over as a heel yet though. I enjoy him as a heel. The Rock kicks out of the Lionsault and rolls through a cross body. Jericho fights back and goes for the Rock Bottom on the announce table. Rock reverses it with a ddt! I'm glad because Jericho gets some nice heat at the end. Vince interferes allowing Jericho to win with the Rock Bottom! New "World" Champ! Rating: 8.5/10

Chris Jericho vs Steve Austin-Undisputed Title
•This match starts right after Jericho/Rock ended. This was very enjoyable for me. Vince McMahon interferes again, but gets attacked by Austin. jericho taps in the Walls of Jericho, but the ref is knocked out. Booker T. hits Austin with the belt and Christ Jericho becomes the first ever Undisputed Champion! Rating: 9/10

Overall Show Rating
•I know it doesn't exactly look like it...but I really liked this show. I was a little hard on the grading scale, but it was a very good PPV. Finally Jericho wins the title...and it's the Undisputed one! Rating: 7/10
