World War 3 1998

Glacier vs Wrath
•Wrath was so much better back then. So much better than the Bryan Clark crap WCW had him do. And who likes Glacier? No one! But Glacier did take a few bumps, give him a little credit. Boring match. Wrath wins. Rating: 4/10

Stevie Ray vs Konnan
•Another boring match. Better than the first match though. K-Dog eventually got himself DQ'd. Rating: 4.5/10

The Cat and Sonny Onoo vs Saturn and Kaz Hayashi
•Onoo is pretty funny. Yet another boring match, but this one was more entertaining than the first two. Onoo gets the win over Saturn...no comment. Rating: 5.5/10

Kidman vs Juventud Guerrera-Cruiserweight Title
•Finally a good match! Two of the best cruiserweights duke it out for the title. Great showing by both men. They used all three rings! Great match to bring the crowd back to life. Kidman wins with the Shooting Star Press! Rating: 8.5/10

Rick Steiner vs Scott Steiner
•Basically no match. Scott had his special referee and Bagwell with him. He beat on Rick. Goldberg came down. The End. Rating: 2/10

Scott Hall vs Kevin Nash
•nWo Black and White turned on Hall. Nash made the save and then left. Rating: 2/10

Bobby Duncan Jr. vs Chris Jericho-T.V. Title
•Ralphus and Jericho rule! I loved this character that Jericho portrayed. One of the better matches of the show. Jericho won after hitting Bobby Jr. with the belt. Rating: 7/10

World War 3
•Last five- Nash, Luger, Benoit, Malenko, and Hall. Out goes Benoit followed by Malenko. Luger goes to put Hall out, Nash big boots Hall. Hall falls over and out and so does Luger. Nash wins. Rating: 8/10

Bret Hart vs DDP-U.S. Title
•Nice match. Bret and DDP knocked the ref out. Bret hit DDP with knucks. The NWO ref came out and Bret put the Sharpshooter on DDP. DDP didn't tap, but the NWO ref called for the bell. Bret won. Mickey J. came out and argued with them. DDP hits the Diamond Cutter and the original ref counts the three. DDP retains the title. Rating: 8/10

Overall Show Rating
•Well, I was not impressed with this PPV as you can see. The two matches that didn't really take place got 2's which really hurt the rating of the entire show. The World War 3 match was pretty entertaining and so was Bret/DDP. Those matches brought the show up a little, but they didn't help enough. Rating: 5.5/10
