Q & A
Becky Asks: How did you get your start in Wrestling?
BJ: I got started into wrestling, because honestly, this is what I have
wanted to do since I was 4 years old. most kids want to be a pro baseball
players or a fireman, me, I wanted to be a pro wrestler. I was originally
trained by an independent wrestler in Ohio named Gregg Anderson, but
furthered my training under Danny Davis.
Kara asks: Who were your Favorite Wrestlers growing up?.. and who do you admire for their work now?
BJ: Fav. wrestlers growing up: Road Warriors, Tully Blanchard, Ric Flair, and the
Undertaker
Fav. wrestlers now and who I admire most in the wrestling business for
their work: D-Lo Brown, un-tapped(by the WWF) talent who can do
anything.....Hugh Morris aka General Rection, he does athletic shit for a man
his size....... Shawn Michaels love em or hate him he entertained like none
other.......Austin, totally changed the wrestling business.
Liz asks: Who has been your biggest influence throughout your career?
BJ: biggest influence though my career...Personally: my parents. They have helped
me tremendously and have supported me all the way. Professionally: without a
doubt D-lo Brown. one of my best friends. I would still be in Ohio workin
indies if it was not for D-Lo. he introduced me to Jim Cornette who then
brought me to OVW. D-Lo still helps me today, as I still call him for
everything professionally. he taught me that talent always rises to the top.
Lainy asks: If you could wrestle anyone dead or alive who would it be?
BJ: one person dead or alive that I would love to wrestle. WOW great
question. Honestly I would have had to say D-Lo Brown because I have
patterned my style after him, but I was fortunate enough to have done that
bout 5 months ago. So with that being said I would have to say either Lou
Thesz, who is one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time or Shawn Michaels in
his prime, during his run as WWF champion. Shawn could make anyone look like
a god in a ring. I guess I would give the nod to Shawn Michaels in his prime.
Jennifer asks: What do you like to do in your free time?
BJ: In my free time here in Louisville I like to relax, go see movies and go to
Jillians to play games. I am an arcade junkie. I play my playstation a lot
as well. Free time at home (Ohio) is devoted totally to my son kyle, and my
family. Being on the road and being away from him kills me everyday so when
I am home I do my best to make that time up to him. His smile means more to
me than any title I could ever win in the wrestling business.
Kim asks: What do you think of WWF buying WCW?
BJ: I think that it opens many doors of opportunities for everyone involved in the wrestling business. I feel that for the last couple years WCW was a sinking ship and if anyone can turn it around and make it a great product once again it would be Vince McMahon.

Andrea Had 2 Questions :What would his advice be for someone who wanted to get into the wrestling business? And What are some of the hardest challenges he has had to face in the business?
BJ: I would say that the biggest thing would be patience. At all points in your career you will think that you are ready for the next step no matter what that is. Sometimes your patience wears thin, but you must always remember that everything happens for a reason, and the cream(talent) will always raise to the top.
