Just wanted to drop a hello from North Carolina to everyone. I am down
here visiting my family and helping my mother with some business things. I
am getting excited about the next Louisville Gardens show on Friday the 13th
in which Flash and I take on the Disciples of Synn for the Southern Tag Team
Chapionship. This match has street fight rules and anything goes, basically
it is a hardcore tag title match. With Flash on my side, which he is the
king of hardcore down here, we should prevail. I said that everytime I will
talk about a friend or someone that is special to me. Today I will talk
about my friend Danny Hackenbracht. Danny has been one of my best friends
since 7th grade. He has been there to support me thru everything that I have
ever gone thru, including becoming a father at a young age and my switching
of colleges. I was the best man in his wedding which meant a lot to me and
someday when I get married I will be able to return that to him. He is
married and along with his wife Heather they live in Beaumont, Texas where
Danny is a teacher and Heather an engineer for Dupont. They are like a
brother and sister to me and will always hold a special place in my heart.
Danny taught me a lot of things in life, but most importantly he taught me to
never give up in life or in athletics. Danny played football at Michigan
State, and thru college and in high school, he suffered injuries that most
average athletes would let end their careers but he didnt. He might be the
most self-driving individual i have ever met. He also coaches football in
Beaumont where he can share his knowledge of sports and his knowledge of
determination to his students. He does not understand the word quit, and has
always told me to follow my dreams. As many doubted me becoming a wrestler,
Danny did not. He knew that I could do whatever I wanted if I just put my
mind to it. Danny Hackenbract is an unbelievable person, more importantly,
he is my best friend. We have been thru a lot together, and he has pulled me
thru a lot of bad situations and shown me the light at the end of the tunnel.
Danny, THANK YOU!
Talk to you all soon.
