Ryan grew up in Saint John,New Brunswick,Canada.Saint John was ruled by a tyrant of a mayor.Ryan and his friends,the silent Shawn Anderson,the brains of the outfit Trevor Lane,and the guy whose always drunk Matt Hyxx...these four wanted to learn how to wrestle.They learned their trademark moves from Master Don in the westside of Saint John...after their training...they heard about a tournament that their old high school that they graduated from was having...it was a wrestling tournament.While working out in the gym,Ryan met his arc-rival at the time,Eddie Duke...Rya heard about Duke that he could kill anyone in the ring....But,Ryan and the gang were focused in one of them winning the thing.Trevor lost in the quaterfinals to Ryan,Ryan beat Hyx in the semis,and after hearing that Shawn was beaten to a pulp from Eddie Duke...Ryan wanted revenge in the finals...Ryan used his Canadian Chamber finisher to win the tournament...After wards.... Eddie felt bad about everything and told him that in the newly established ExtremeWrestlingAllaince they could become a tagteam to win their tag titles.The two went into EWA and quickly won the tag team titles from Sinister [Shawn Anderson] and Toad [Trevor] the company thought Ryan could be a single's star,so they put him in the TV title picture and he quicly won it from Matt Hyxx...who had Ryan's old girlfriend,Brandi Greene in his corner. Ryan asked the boss to make Brandi his valet...they agrred and a month later he won the Atlantic title from Sam Scott....Sam quickly became Ryan's friend...and 5 months later,he won the world title from Chris Jericho....after a year with the title...PainExpress wanted a shot at the title...Expres won it quickly and Ryan went training with Eddie at Master Cinna's dojo...but after a month of training,Ryan and Eddie wanted a handicap match for the world title....Cinna revealed himself to be Express's partner in crime,The Brain! Ryan and Eddie VS Express/Brain was heard about all around the world...Ryan pinned Brain to win the title again...today,Ryan enjoys his stay in NPW and continues to be a true blue Extreme Canadian!
