Note: I felt a little bad for Kane, so I figured I'd make him feel a little better.

Cindi felt Kane's angry steps as he came into the house and she hurried out of the living room to greet him. She got to him just in time to see him throw his bag across the hall where it sent a delicate coat tree on the floor in a noisy clatter. He saw her standing there and had the decency to look guilty.
"I saw the match," she whispered.
"He treats me like a child," he growled.
"He was just trying to..."
"Protect me, I know. But I defended myself against him often enough, haven't I? I'm not a baby."
"But your arm..."
"I could have handled it! I hate it! I hate it! I just hate it so much! I have to..."
Without another word, Kane stalked across the house and stepped out into the rainy night, to the gym at the end of the backyard. From the kitchen window, Cindi watched his shadow as he vented his anger on the impressive machinery, wondering if they would be able to withstand his anger. She'd been watching him for almost an hour when there was a ring at the front door. She tore her eyes from him and hurried to open the door. When she saw the man standing there, she was tempted to slam the door shut in his face but she knew it'd be worthless.
"I need to speak to him."
"Why?"
"Cindi, I don't..."
"Just... The two of you frustrate me so much. If you knew how much he was hurting right now. Not physically, but inside. He's a man Taker, not a child, not anymore."
"I know that but his arm..."
"I know," she sighed, letting him into the house, "and I love you for it. But you have to understand. He needs to do this on his own."
Taker fell on a couch and put his elbows on his knees.
"I stink as a brother, don't I?"
"You don't stink. I mean, Steph stinks as a sister, trying to discourage Shane from that match like minutes before it began. Chick has no sense of loyalty. But you and Kane, after almost thirty years, you're learning how to be brothers. Can't be all easy."
"You think he'll forgive me?"
"I want to say yes because I like how powerful the two of you can be. And because a friend of ours needs the two of you to stand together."
"Huh?"
"Just go out there to see your brother okay?"
Sighing, Taker got up and went out into the rain while Cindi took her position at the window.

"Kane."
"Cindi let you in?"
"No, I kicked the door in. She's lying in the hall."
"Grrrrrrrrrr."
"I'm kidding. She let me in. Can you not take a joke?"
"No."
"Kane, about tonight..."
"About how nice it was of you to protect your little brother who was too dumb to not play when he was hurt?"
"..."
"And about the look on your face when I lost us the belts, all four of them?"
"We both lost the belts Kane."
"No way. It was me that was pinned, not you. I lost the belts, not you."
Taker sat down on a bench and looked up at Kane.
"Is that what you think?"
"It's what I know."
"Well, you're wrong."
"Of course I am."
"Oh, get off it already. Sometimes, I'm wrong. Like I should have tagged you in. I got my ass handed to me by those idiots and I was too proud to let you help me. I was wrong."
"Wow. I should have a camera to tape this and save this for posterity."
"Smart ass."
"I'm the smart one, you're the bad one."
"Yeah well... we cool? Cause if I have to do more of this sappy Oprah shit, I'm going to have to kill you."
"We cool."
"Now you two hug," Cindi said from the entrance.
"Go to hell," both men growled, glaring at the woman standing behind them, just as wet as they both were, Kane from sweat, Cindi and Taker from the rain.
"I love to see you two when you're happy," she smiled.
"My brother and I don't do 'happy'," Kane told her.
"Whatever," Taker said with a shrug. "Now who's this friend who needs us?"
