Disclaimer: Don't own the WWFE personnel but NWW is mine... as is this idea.
Distribution: Flights.
Notes: My take on the WWF's much needed competition.
Vignette 1: The money man's POV
Two brands... and no competition whatsoever... The man fingered the stack of bills stacked in his hand and smiled. Who did Vince think he was fooling? The critics of the WWFE had been harping on the lack of competition which lowered the standard of the product offered and this was his response? This ridiculous ploy to create internal competition was transparent and would eventually amount to nothing. But he finally had the money to challenge Vince on an even ground and he was going to do it in style.
Vignette 2: The conspirator's POV
Loyalty is a fickle thing. Just flash a suitcase full of cash in the face of a loyal employee and they'll forget everything about it. Naturally, I have an advantage. I am not a start up. My audience and market share are guaranteed. I have cable syndication deals ready and Direct TV is begging for an excuse to dump Vince to take me on instead. I have what it takes. I have the know-how, I have the respect and soon, I'll be the top dog...
Vignette 3: The future tag team partners
Respect where hatred had once existed. The two women worked the gym together, spotting each other for three solid hours before each going their own way, their bodies burning with the satisfaction of a job well done. They couldn't wait to get back in the ring.
Vignette 4: An icon's POV
He was at the top of the pile... one of the luckiest men in the business. If he didn't get his way, all he had to do was make a few veiled threats and BAM! He got his way. But he didn't always rely on backstage politics, discreet though he was about it. He had a great deal of talent and charisma. He knew his way around the ring. Now, he just had to get himself to learning his way around a new ring.
Vignette 5: A torn Diva's POV
Torn... that's how she felt. Without the WWFE, she wouldn't be where she was right now. She would be... she didn't know where she would be. But her career was at a possible standstill. If she were lucky, she might get a great push and become the WWFE women's champion but it was unlikely since things were getting tighter at the top. But she could also be unlucky, get thrown back to the schooling federations and never be a top contender again. And now, if she chose to betray the one company that had propelled her, she might be stepping right into the spotlight... what to do? What to do?
