Andrew’s POV

After Kat’s comment, the boys behaved like altar boys. Damn, I’m dying to get her alone to do two things. First, to find out who she knows about Adam and Jason and then, to kiss her until she forgets her name. But right now, she’s digging into a sundae with Jason, laughing at a story he’s telling her about Jeff Hardy. I reach out and run my fingers down her arm. She smiles at me and curls the fingers of her free hand around mine. Who knew a touch could do so much? Across the table, Adam sends me this mysterious look, like he’s in on something that I have no clue about.

Kat’s POV

I have never felt this good. Really, I haven’t. Sure, I’ve been to this restaurant before and enjoyed the food but this is different. Specially since I’m with these guys. They are so-- normal, I suppose. I mean, look at Jason, he’s like so many of the guys I know. He’s sweet, he’s an idiot, he’s a guy I’m going to get to know and love. And he’s adorable.
“So,” he asks me while Andrew and Adam talk in hushed tones next to us, “you really like the great big tower of blonde?”
“Yeah. He’s a sweet guy.”
“And?”
“He’s hot!”
“He needs someone who’ll keep his feet on the ground.”
“I’m not sure I’m that,” I whisper, thinking of all the stories I wrote about Andrew.
Adam’s cell phone rings then and all of our attention shifts to him.

Andrew’s POV

I watch Kat and Jason pull away from their dessert and she moves closer to me. I put my arm around her shoulders and pull her a little closer. Her head comes to rest on my shoulder and I bury my nose in her blue-black hair. Kat’s hand moves across my stomach and curls on the other side of me. Adam goes on talking and puts whoever it is on hold and looks at us.
“Some of the guys are going out tonight. Part of a club’s been closed off for us.”
“Which club?” Kat asks.
“Some place called Tokyo’s. Some band’s supposed to performing.”
“Should be good. Oh, give me a second.”
She pulls her cell phone out of her pocket and quickly dials a number.
“Key? Hey, what’s up? What do you mean, who’s this? My feelings are hurt man. Sure they are. Yeah, it’s Kat. Listen, I have a question for you. Are you boys performing at Tokyo’s tonight by any chance? You are? That is so cool! Will I be there? I don’t know. Just in case, can you get my ass on the guest list? Thanks. What? Yeah, I heard that too. Yeah. All right. I might see you there.”

Kat’s POV

I shut off my phone and look at the boys, “A friend of mine is performing at Tokyo’s tonight. It’s going to be good.”
“Cool stuff.”
“Would you like to go?” Andrew asks me.
“Whatever you want to do is cool with me,” I tell him.
After all, I got tomorrow off work just in case things were extremely well *wink, wink*.
“But would you like to go to the club?”
“Yeah. Their band is really good and I haven’t heard them since last summer.”
“So we’ll go.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah.”
I look up at him and cup his face in my hand, “Kiss me again,” I whisper, “a quick little kiss. No tongue. Just you.”
His blue eyes get almost violet with desire and he slants his mouth across mine.

Andrew’s POV

“All right kiddies,” Adam says, “people are looking at you. And I’m afraid the PTC will break in here any moment.”
Did I mention wanting to kill them? Anyhow, half an hour later, we’re walking down the street, her hand’s in mine and that feels very right. She points out some of the buildings to us, giving us her version of a Montreal tour guide. But the way she does it, she just cracks us up.
“All right,” she says after a moment. “If we’re going to a club, I’ve got to change. So I’ll take a cab home and meet you at Tokyo’s, OK?”
The woman’s insane.

Kat’s POV

All three of them look at me as if I’ve grown an extra head, which I’m sure I haven’t.
“What are you?” Jason asks, “crazy?”
“What?”
“We’re driving you home,” Adam says, “we’ll wait while you change.”
“I live far, outside of the city. It’ll be too much trouble,” I explain.
“And I’m cool for the cab. I got these cab tickets from work. Won’t cost me a thing.”
“She’s not getting it Andrew,” Jason says, shaking his head from side to side.
“I guess I’ll have to explain it to her,” Andrew says with a sly grin.
Next thing I know, I’m over his shoulder and he’s walking toward the car. Adam and Jason pretty much fall on the sidewalk laughing.
“You feel like a man right now?” I ask as people just stop and stare at us.

Andrew’s POV

Okay, I never think of myself like a big macho guy or anything. I mean, women are my equals and it’s all good. I mean, I work with Chyna. Want to tell her she’s not as good as you at anything? Specially when she can turn your balls to mush? But with Kat tossed over my shoulder, her ass next to my ear, I feel kind of good.
“Yeah, I do.”
“Put me down Andrew.”
“I don’t think so.”
“Listen, I’ll let you guys drive me home, no problems.”
How can I explain how glad I am to have her in my arms?
“I like having you in my arms,” I tell her, bracing myself for her sarcastic wit.
“Put me down,” she says. I do it and Kat stands in front of me, running her hand through her hair as she looks up at me.
“Next time you want me in your arms,” she says, “just put your arms around me, OK?”
“I didn’t know I wanted you in my arms until I had you there.”
“And now?”
“I think you’re due for a real kiss.”
I push her hair out of the way and I run my fingers over full lips which look better than any other lips I’ve ever seen. They’re pink on the inside and as they melt into the rest of her face, they turn brown, but with a tinge of pink in them. So beautiful. And then, I lean over and plant one on her.

Kat’s POV

I reach up and hold on to his shoulders before I crumple into nothing in his arms. I open my mouth and he’s there with his tongue and damn it to hell, I’ve been waiting for him all of my life. I’m sure of it. I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life. Then again, it’s not like I’m getting kissed every day. But this is special and it’s pretty damn good. I don’t know why we pull away from each other, but when we do, I can tell, he’s as rocked by the kiss as I am.
“Great kiss,” he whispers, pecking my lips again.
“Oh yeah,” I tell him, kissing him back, “fabulous kiss.”
“Ten!” Jason shouts.
“Nine point five,” Adam ponders.
“Why not ten?”
“The height factor. She’s still a bit on the short side for him.”
“Yeah, but she’s a lot taller than a lot of the girls he usually dates.”
“True. All right, you get that point five. It’s a ten.”
I put my head on Andrew’s chest and smile. I’m happy right now. Very happy.

Andrew’s POV

The girl can do no wrong. I swear, she can’t. We’re at the club and she’s-- how can I say it? Her clothes, her attitude, it’s perfect. She can’t exactly blend in with this crowd, I mean, they’re in their early twenties and very grungy, but she doesn’t look totally out of place either, since she’s wearing this great cargo skirt. And at the same time, you can tell this is a woman who earns her money since she’s got this real leather top that’s got like no back to it.
And the music, it’s fucking great music and she’s tight with the guys in the band. She hugged all of them, laughed with them and she knows the lyrics to their songs by heart, explaining a few inside jokes as they go along. Soon enough, she’s on the dance floor, facing the stage, her arms up in the air, waving them around like she just don’t care and just having plain old fun.
What’s more, when she met the other wrestlers, she didn’t fawn all over them. She introduced herself, said a few kind words and that was the end of that. Nothing drawn out, no gushing. Damn, I like her a lot.

Jason’s POV

If I’d been born a girl, I would have been just like her. I like this chick! She’s so cool. I mean, I don’t like her-like her like Andrew likes her, but I like her like she’s the kind of chick you can hang out with, scratch your crotch and instead of being all high and mighty about it, she’ll make a flip comment and toss you some antibacterial gel because you’re not touching anything with your crotchy hands. Very cool chick!

Adam’s POV

OK, so she’s not bad. I mean, she doesn’t gush over us, doesn’t treat us differently. That’s always good. And she’s sexy. Not in an obviously make your tongue roll on the floor way. But in a way that’s different. It’s in the way she is, the way she moves, the way she listens to everything you say. Yeah, Andrew’s got himself one hell of a girl there.

Kat’s POV

I go backstage to meet the guys, my guys, Key, Licious and Bail from the band.
“Very nice,” I say, pecking their cheeks. “I was impressed.”
“Cool stuff,” Key says, “listen, I’m going home right now. Work in the morning. Got a ride home?”
“Yeah. Came in with some friends.”
“The WWF guys,” he asks me.
“Yeah. Test, Edge and Christian.”
“How did you meet them?”
“Test, I met at work and the other two I met tonight. Listen, better get back out there. And Key, where’s my CD man?”
“It’s coming. Kat, you be good, okay?”
“As good as I know how to be.”
When I get back to the club area, Andrew makes a beeline for me. His face looks set.
“What’s up?” I ask him, dreading whatever he’s going to tell me. He hooked up with a better looking rat, he’s got to leave in a hurry. Whatever it is, I have a feeling I’m going to hate it.
“I need you,” he tells me, his eyes meeting mine, “tonight. So your place or mine?”
