Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time
In a land very much like mine
I counted on someone else
I relied on someone that was not me
And I was left hangingv I was left brutally alone
And dumb with shock
Once upon a time

Once upon a time
I didn't wish for a prince
But for a princess
And I found one
I thought happiness was attainable
That maybe I had a shot at it
A chance at the forever with her by my side
Once upon a time

Once upon a time
I took the hand of friendship
And was slapped with rejectionv And saw the moral of the story
Dreams are dreamsv
As such are meant to keep their placev
In the wonderful world ofv Once upon a time.
