Kave- This certainly is going to be a stunning match, Smash vs Warlord!!

Bret- Yeah, think of the size of Smash, then double it then he'll nearly be Warlord's size.

Kave- I don't think you can judge Smash on his size, as usual, you've seen the guy in the ring!

Bret- Yeah but add to that- he's an Outsider...

Kave- And a damn fine one! One half of the Tag Champions!

Brat- Shhh, the lights are going out.

The lights  dim, plunging the arena into darkness. A drumroll begins to play, building up to fantastic climax as a huge fireball erupts from the stage- lightening the entire arena. The arena returns to darkness as "The Imperial March" plays and a dim orange spotlight illuminates the stage. The crowd reaction rumbles the entire arena as Warlord steps out to the stage. As he stands there dominantly two more explosions roar up from the sides of the stage.

Kave- This is quite an entrance.

Bret- Yeah all but that explosion in the ring!

The pyros flare up as Warlord makes his journey to the ring.

Kave- And now it's time for Smash!

Bret- There goes that howl again, don't you people ever get bored of hearing the same things?

Kave- What like your voice?

Smash comes out to the stage and the thousands of fans blow the roof off. The fan favorite takes his time on the way to the ring, slapping as many of the fans outstretched arms as he can.

Warlord stands in the ring unimpressed. Smash eventually flips into the ring. The fight begins and Warlord charges at Smash with a running Lariat, taking Smash back over the ropes. Smash lands on his back on the mats and rolls over in pain. Warlord steps onto the apron and jumps off at Smash, just missing as he rolls away.

Bret- Ooh that would have literally crushed Smash!

Smash gets back to his feet  and successfully ducks a clothesline from Warlord. Catching him off balance Smash nails Warlord into the ring steps with a dropkick. The steps tumble into the barriers as Warlord gets to his knees. Smash hits another dropkick into the back of Warlord's head but it doesn't have any effect and Warlord just rises to his feet.

Warlord rams his fist straight into Smash's face then topples him with a big boot. Smash hits the ground again and his head bounces on the mats as Warlord slides into the ring on the six count. The ref counts seven as Smash gets to his feet and stumbles into the barriers.

Warlord holds his hands high into the air taunting the crowd as the ref counts eight and Smash steadies himself on the ringpost. The ref counts nine and Smash pulls himself up onto the apron and straight to the top turnbuckle. Warlord turns to see Smash perched on the turnbuckle. They lock eyes and Smash launches a missile dropkick on Warlord.

Warlord rocks back and grabs the ropes to stop himself falling but Smash darts up the next turnbuckle and launches off again with a missile dropkick.

Kave- Well so far Smash seems to be concentrating on the one single move, he's hit him with four dropkicks in a row.

Warlord is leaning into the opposite ropes from Smash's dropkick as Smash charges at him, hoping to connect with a crossbody. Warlord catches Smash and slams him down on his stomach then leans off the ropes and leans forward, letting himself fall onto Smash.

Bret- Look I told you, Smash doesn't have a chance, I'll be surprised if he can get Warlord off of himself.

Kave- One... Two... look he got a shoulder up! He got a shoulder up!

Bret- And Warlord's furious, he's really giving it to the ref.

The ref is backed into the corner as Warlord begins screaming in his face. Smash takes this opportunity and creeps up behind Warlord. He boots him in the back of the knee and immediately follows up with a schoolboy rollup pin.

Kave- Great skill from Smash, a kick to the back of the knee to throw him off balance then bring him down into the pin.

Warlord's head snaps back on the canvas as Smash does his best to keep Warlord's leg hoisted in the air. The ref goes down for the count. Just as he hits the mat for the one count Warlord gets a leg up. Smash stands up disappointed but Warlord wastes no time with recovery and rams both his feet into Smash's chin.

Bret- Wow! Warlord's trying to take off Smash's head!

Kave- That should have! What a hit!

Smash is knocked through the air and almost over the ropes. He hits the ropes and stops himself from rolling over. Warlord is immediately back to his feet and knocks Smash over the ropes with a huge clothesline.

As Smash flips over he manages to keep hold of the top rope and avoids hitting the mats. He swings his legs under the bottom rope and wraps then around Warlord. Warlord looks down to see Smash's feet wrapped around his own but Smash summons enough energy to pull Warlord off his feet.

Smash drops down from the ropes with Warlord's legs dangling off the apron.

Kave- That was a nice move...

Bret- For an Outsider.

Warlord sits up but Smash grabs his legs and wraps them around the ropes. Warlord's legs are now on top of the bottom rope, his knees bent completely back under it and his feet are being yanked back by Smash.

Kave- Ouch, his legs are almost twisted completely in the wrong direction!

Smash keeps Warlord's legs wrapped up and bent as long as he can. He stops finally when the ref reaches the nine count. He gets back into the ring and pulls Warlord back into the ring fully. He aims up over his legs for a leg drop. Warlord manages to move his tired legs just in time then sit up and grab Smash.

Bret- They must be tired, they're both sitting down.

Warlord gives Smash a few right hands, holding him up with his left then with Smash dazed he stands up and brings Smash up with him. He throws Smash over his shoulder and begins running. He drops Smash in front of him, catches him and jumps hitting a running piledriver.

Smash lays lifeless on the canvas as Warlord stands again. He strolls over to Smash and lifts him up horizontally. He pulls him up over his head and stands with Smash high above his head. Warlord looks up to Smash and he can be seen saying something then laughing before throwing Smash forward.

Bret- What did he say to him?

Kave- Just trash talking I think.

Warlord looks down at Smash and laughs. He picks him up again and again holds him above his head. Smash successfully maneuvers his way out of Warlord's grasp and lands on his shoulders.

Kave- Nice, he avoided another drop to the canvas.

Bret- But look at him he's exhausted.

Smash attempts to rock Warlord with a few punches to the head but Warlord leans forward and rams Smash into the turnbuckle. Smash falls out of the turnbuckle and again lays lifeless on the canvas. Warlord walks to the opposite corner and taunts the fans while Smash pulls himself up in the corner. Smash sits in the corner for a moment then reaches his arms up to the top turnbuckle to pull himself up.

Warlord charges at him and goes for a bronco buster but Smash dodges it superbly by leaping onto the top rope and back flipping over Warlord as he soared into the turnbuckle with his legs open.

Bret- You think Smash was hurt?! You don't know pain until you're feeling what Warlord's feeling!

Kave- An excellent evasion for Smash though, and this is giving him a great opportunity to recover.

Bret- Yep he's not taking advantage of Warlord's weakened state he's just resting in the corner.

Warlord gets onto one knee, leaning into the corner and Smash steps down from where he was sitting on the top rope. Both men now look fully recharged and ready to start again. Smash runs at Warlord and slides through his legs as he swings out to grab him.

Smash springs straight back to his feet only to be caught in the side of the head by Warlord's elbow. Smash stumbles into the ropes then another mighty punch from Warlord sends him to the canvas. Warlord slowly begins climbing to the top rope. Smash is getting to his feet as Warlord is struggling up the ropes.

Bret- Warlord really isn't used to those ropes, he's definitely most of a threat with his feet firmly on the ground.

Kave- I'd have to agree with that but Smash had better move before he gets the weight of Warlord crashing down on him.

Warlord eventually turns around to see Smash at the opposite side of the ring. Smash also climbs to the top rope. Both men sit perched on the top ropes at opposite corners. Both look at each other, wondering what to do next. If one steps back into the ring the other could quite easily launch an attack.

They continue their stare down from opposite corners neither man moving an inch. A smile cracks across Warlord's face as he has an idea. Smash soon realises what he's thinking and steadies himself on the ropes.

Warlord then leans forward slightly as Smash keeps watching. All of a sudden at the exact same time both superstars throw themselves through the air. Smash feet first, Warlord head first. They collide in the centre with Smash's feet crashing into Warlord's stomach. Warlord is still within reach of Smash and grabs his head. As they crash to the mats Warlord manages to hold Smash under him and crush him under himself.

Bret- Warlord took Smash's hit to the stomach and still managed to create the offensive attack.

Kave- Yeah but he landed directly on top of Smash and Smash isn't moving.

Warlord rolls off of Smash to see him not moving.

Bret- Make the cover! The match is yours now!

Kave- He doesn't look like he want to pin him yet.

Bret- Why the hell not he's practically killed Smash, when will he pin him?

Kave- Maybe when he's actually KILLED Smash! He's putting him in the corner...

Warlord sets Smash up in the corner, his arms over the ropes to hold him up. Warlord then backs all the way up to the opposite corner.

Kave- Oh no! I know exactly what he has planned for Smash!

Warlord charges forward at full steam and dives into Smash with the Torpedo.

Bret- I think you may have been right! Warlord is gonna kill him!

Kave- And look! He's just hit the torpedo and he's still not pinning him... he's... picking him up?

Warlord stands Smash up in front of him and holds him up by his shoulder. Warlord then lets go of Smash and before Smash's limp body can crumble to the canvas Warlord swings his other hand around and straight into Smash's neck.

Kave- I can't believe this, he's going for the Firebomb!

Bret- Maybe he just wants to make sure he's definitely got Smash beaten...

Warlord holds Smash high in the air with his outstretched arm. Smash's eyes still appear closed but Warlord slams him down anyway. As Smash hits the mat he seems to land awkwardly and lays motionless.

Bret- I think he has actually killed Smash, he has to pin him now...

Kave- I'm worried about Smash, he's taken one hell of a beating at the hands of Warlord and now he's just been Firebombed and I didn't like the way he landed, something isn't right.

Warlord again decides not to make the pin and bends down to pick up Smash but is stopped by the ref. The referee moves Warlord away and tries to talk to Smash.

Kave- Look the referee sees there's something not right.

Bret- Smash must have been unconscious since Warlord landed on him and since then he's met the Torpedo and the Firebomb.

Kave- The ref's still not getting an answer from Smash.

Warlord waits behind the referee looking down disrespectfully on Smash. The referee checks Smash a couple more times and then stands.

Bret- He's saying it's over

Kave- Finally Smash can escape from Warlord!

Warlord is declared winner by knockout and raises his hands happily but is forced to cut his celebrations short by the ref and has to leave the ring. Warlord begins up the ramp and is passed by several EMT's.

The EMT's slide into the ring and make a circle around Smash. They begin checking his pulse and heart rate then check his eyes. Smash is still not moving.

Kave- I really am worried Bret... I think something's went wrong for Smash!

Bret- I think you're right, those paramedics aren't getting a single response... is he even still alive?

Kave- Of course he's still alive but barely. I think it might be a neck injury... this is really bad for Smash... I'm going for a closer look.

Kave abandons his seat and gets into the ring with the EMT's. Bret sits looking into the ring as Kave finds out what he can.

Bret- I think they're asking Kave to leave the ring now... yeah here he comes... what's the news?

Kave- ...Not good. They're not sure of anything yet, they need to take him to the hospital for some proper tests.

A neck brace is secured around Smash's neck and he is lifted onto a stretcher. They slide him under the ropes and carry him up the ramp. He passes all his speechless fans on the way, the look on their faces is one of deep sorrow.

Kave- Imagine how his fellow Outsiderz must be feeling... knowing there's nothing they can do to help Smash.

Bret- I never thought I'd say this but I hope Smash is alright...

Kave- I'm sure he'll be fine... Okay back to the schedule...   the result of this match- Warlord is in the Gauntlet final!
