Kave: What a great night this is
going to be Bret, and do you know who's up now?
Bret: No, who?
Kave: The First Gauntlet Semi finals match between Python and Hyped Up!
Bret: Ah…I guess it's time for a nap then…
Kave: What do you mean by that?
Bret: I cant hear you…I'm asleep!
The lights in the arena dim, and "My Way" by Limp Bizkit begins to
blast over the PA system. Python appears on the top of the stage to a very good
pop. Python begins to jog towards ringside, slapping high fives with ass many
fans as possible. Once Python reaches the ring, he climbs up the apron and up
onto the turnbuckles, and he poses for all the fans. The fans scramble to their
cameras and take as many pictures as they can before Python hops of he
turnbuckle and into the ring.
Kave: Python looks prepared for this match don't, you think Bret?
Bret: ZZZZZZ…
A huge countdown clock appears on the Megatron, and it counts down to zero.
After this, the lights in the arena turn black, and then a huge explosion-like
piro blats near the stage. The Lights in the arena turn back on, revealing the
body of Hyped Up. Hyped slowly makes his way down to ringside, and one he
reaches the ring he climbs up onto the apron. On the apron he brings both his
arms up, one pointing to one side, and the other arm pointing to the other
direction. Hyped then enters the ring and gets into the face of Python.
Kave: Here we go, Bret, this should be a great showing!
Python pushes Hyped Up, and he signals Hyped Up to come back. Hyped smiles and
he extends his hand to Python, looking for a quick handshake. Python tilts his
head sideways trying to figure out what Hype is doing, and then Python slowly
grasps Hype's hand. However, when Python tried to pull away, Hyped didn't let go
of his hand, and he applied as much pressure as he could to Python's hand.
Python fell to his side attempting to trip Hyped Up, but Hyped jumped over
Python's legs, and then he pulled Python back to his feet by his hair. Hyped up
pulled Python's arm over the back of his head, and he attempted a vertical
suplex, but Python elbowed Hyped in the back of the head. Hyped shook his head,
attempting to clear the cob webs, but Python once again elbowed Hyped in the
back of the head, causing Hyped up to let go of Python. Python sprinted over to
Hyped up and quickly drop kicked him in the chest, causing Hyped up to lose his
balance and fall to he canvas. Python raised his foot in the air and quickly
brought it down onto Hyped Up's rib cage. Python grabbed Hyped by his head and
slowly brought him to his feet. Python whipped Hyped into the ropes, and after
Hyped rebounded off, Python prepared to catch Hyped. However, Hyped Up slid in
between Python's legs, and then he quickly leap-frogged over Python's head.
Hyped up performed a shuffle side lick into the gut of Python, and then Hyped
draped a leg over the back of Python's head, and pulled off a famasser type
maneuver, driving Python's face into the canvas.
Kave: Wow, what a move by Hyped Up, Python looks to be in great trouble
here, don't you think Bret?
Bret: Huh? What where am I? Oh, these two are still fighting? Kave, do you mind
not asking me questions? I'm trying to sleep here!
Hyped Up quickly dropped an elbow across the throat of Python, and then he
walked over to the ring post and climbed up to the top turnbuckle. Hyped leaped
up off the turnbuckle and attempted a guillotine leg-drop, and he connected with
perfection. Hyped quickly brought himself back to his feet and threw his arms
into the air, generating an army of cheers and cat calls. Hyped strutted back
over to Python, and he picked him up off the floor. Hyped tried to kick Python
in the stomach, but Python caught Hyped Up's foot. Hyped smiled at Python and
leaped up into the air, trying to hit Python in the head with his other foot, an
insegurie. However, Python quickly ducked, sending Hyped up plummeting to the
canvas. Python quickly brought his foot in the air and stomped on the spine of
Hyped, making Hyped howl out in pain.
Kave: Nice move by Python there, but can he capitalize on it?
Python walked over to the inner left ring post and he climbed up onto the second
turnbuckle. With his back turned to Hyped Up, he raised his arms in the air,
generating a nice reception from the crowd. Hyped Up looked up at Python with a
look of utter disgust and dismay on his face. He slowly got back to his feet and
snuck up behind Python. He placed both his hands on Python's hair and yanked
Python down, slamming Python onto the mat. Hyped up quickly began to stomp away
at Python, not giving him any breathing room. Hyped up then brought himself down
to his knees and began to hit Python in the face with open fists. Python quickly
placed his foot on the ropes, forcing Hyped up to get off of Python. Hyped up
quickly got up and began to argue with the referee. Meanwhile, Python placed his
hands on the ring ropes and forced himself back to his feet. Python placed one
knee on the floor and waited for Hyped up to turn around. Hyped pushed the
referee away, and then he slowly turned around to a waiting Python, who met him
with a thunderous clothesline, sending Hyped down to the mat. Hyped quickly
arose and attempted to hit Python, but Python blocked the attempt and he hit
Hyped up with a punch of his own. Python quickly punched a staggering Hyped up
once again, causing Python to lose his balance, but he managed to stay on his
feet. Python attempted another punch, but Hyped up blocked the attempt and poked
Python in the eye. Python quickly brought his hands up to his face, but the
referee did not see any of it. Hyped up grabbed Python by the shoulder and wrist
and whipped Python into the ropes, but Hyped up did not let go of Python, and he
went with him to the ropes. As Python hit the ropes and turned around, Hyped up
kneed Python in the stomach hitting a 'kitchen sink', causing Python to flip
over onto the mat.
Kave: What a move, Python just got the wind knocked out of him by Python!
Bret: My god, is this match ever going to end?
Kave: Bret, the match barely has gotten underway!
Bret: Well it seems like this has been going on for ages!
Hyped Up quickly brought Python back to his feet and battled him into the
corner. Python tries to fight back, but Hyped Up proves o be the more powerful
of the two as he began to stomp the life out of Python. The referee began to
count to four, and at the four count Hyped hesitantly broke away from Python.
Hyped Up grabs Python by the hair and stands him up, still in the corner. Hyped
up pointed to the crowd and then brought his palm down as hard as he could onto
Python's chest, eliciting a "Woo!" from the fans. Hyped up smiled at
them, and once again brought his palm down onto Python's chest. Python grits his
teeth and grabs him by the shoulders, and then he turns his body around in a
very fast movement, turning the tables; making Hyped Up now the trapped man.
Python let out a roar and began to open up on Hyped Up with devastated
knife-edge chops, making a thunderous crackling sound echo throughout the arena.
Kave: These two are so evenly matched, the action keeps going back and fourth!
Hyped suddenly shot his arms out and grabs Python by the throat, and then once
again throws Python into the corner. Hyped Up placed his hand on the second ring
rope, and he began to drive his shoulders into Python's stomach area. Hyped Up
then picks Python up and threw him onto the top turnbuckle. Hyped up then climbs
the turnbuckle himself, and he threw Python's arm over his head, and he signaled
the to the crowd that he is about to execute a superplex. However, Python
quickly jabs Hyped in the ribs, followed by another punch. Python pushes Hyped
down off the turnbuckle, and then Python stood on top of the turnbuckle. Python
raises his arms into the air, and then he slowly begins to walk the ropes! Hyped
Up slowly picked himself up off the mat, and then he turned around to face
Python. Python leaps as high as he can, and he performs a flipping clothesline!
Kave: Holy god, Bret, he nearly decapitated Hyped Up with that move!
Bret: Huh? Oh yea sure, whatever…I think…
Kave: Will you wake up and call the match? I cannot do this all by myself!
Bret: What? You just admitted you need my help?
Kave: I never did that, I just simply…
Bret: Simply what? Come on now spit it out!
Kave: I, I, I, uh…Just call the match Bret!
Hyped slowly got back up, and began to exchange blows with Python. Python
punches Hyped in the face, and then Hyped repaid the favor. Hyped then caught
one of Python's blows and forced Python's arm across Hypes shoulders. Hyped then
hoists Python up into the air, and then drops him into a Samoan drop. Hyped then
grabs Python's legs and he looked into the crowd. They rose to their feet and
began to cheer incredibly loud for the upcoming maneuver. Hyped places his right
foot across Python left leg, picks up his right leg and hooks it with his left,
and then Hyped turns him over into a sharpshooter! Python places his hands over
his face trying to hide his expression of pain, but eventually the pain became
too much. Hyped arches back as far as he can, raising the level of pain in
Python's legs greatly. Python placed his hands out in front of his face, toying
with the idea of tapping out. Python slowly put one wrist in front of the other,
inching his way towards the ropes. Hyped up struggles to move him back, but
Python continues to move towards the ropes. Finally, right before Python touched
the ropes, Hyped Up stood up and dragged Python into the middle of the ring.
Python howls out in pain as the fans watch in eager precipitation. Slowly Python
places his right hand out in front of him and slams it onto the mat as hard as
he possibly could, forcing the referee to drop down to his knees and ask Python
if he gives up; to which Python shook his head 'no'. Python grits his teeth and
with his last ounce of strength starts to make his way back to the ropes.
However, Hyped once again pulls Python into the center of the ring. Python put
both his hands on the mat, and extended his elbows completely to their fullest
extent, and then Python reached back and clubbed Hyped on the back of the head.
Hyped staggers, but manages to keep balanced. Python tried it again with full
force, but Hyped saw it coming and ducked the attempt. Suddenly, Python
performed a summersault type maneuver, flipping Hyped up over and reversing the
sharpshooter!
Bret: I hate to say it, but that was rather impressive…
Kave: Oh so your actually going to announce now?
Bret: Well I have no choice, you
practically begged me into it…
Kave: Will you give it up Bret?
Bret: Give what up?
Kave: Never mind.
Python slowly drags himself to his feet as Hyped up does the same. Python whips
Hyped into the ropes, and Python bends over, attempting a back body drop, but
Hyped caught Python with a stiff kick to the face. Hyped takes the opportunity
and body slams Python to the mat. Hyped goes to dig his fingers into Python's
eyes, but Python shoots his leg up into the air and kicks Hyped on the nose.
Python rolls Hyped onto his stomach and grabs Hypes leg. Hyped up brings the
knee up as far as he can and then slams it into the mat. Python taunts Hyped,
who is now holding his knee, to a mild reception. Python rolls hyped back over
onto his stomach, and then he picks up Hypes leg and drops an elbow on his upper
inner leg.
Bret: Hey Python is starting to show a mean side, I knew he had it in him!
Kave: Well Python is taking it to Hyped a little rough…
Bret: Yea and it's only a matter of time before Python finishes him off now.
Kave: So you're rooting for Python?
Bret: Look, I'm dong all I can to stay awake here, so would you please not bore
me with your meaningless questions?
Python picks Hyped Up off the ground and delivers a shuffle sidekick to his
midsection, followed by implanting DDT. Python drops a leg drop onto the back of
Hyped Up's neck, and then picks him up once again. Python hooks Hyped Up's arms
and this time delivers a double arm DDT. Python looked down at Hyped Up, who is
now busted open. Python raises his arms into the air to a slight boo, and then
he puts his foot on Hypes chest. The referee drops to his side and begins to
register his annual three count. The referee slams his hand onto the canvas, and
then he raises his arm and does the same motion, and then before the referee
even raised his arm again, Hyped up reached up and grabbed Python's foot,
twisted it, and sent Python flying off of him.
Kave: Bret are you sleeping again? Wake up, Hyped up is starting to come back!
Bret: In all honesty Kave, I really do not care…
Kave: How can you not, both these guys are funanuminal athletes!
Bret: Sorry Kave I cannot hear you…I'm asleep again!
Hyped up grabs Python and throws his arm over his shoulder. He lifts Python up
into the air and then delivers a falling reverse suplex, dropping Python right
on his face. Python immediately gets back to his feet, but is met with a flurry
of right hands, knocking him down one again. Python gets pissed and tries to low
blow Hyped, but he dodges the attempt, and he dropkicks Python (who is on his
knees) square in the face. Hyped brings Python back to his feet, and tosses him
out of the ring. Hyped Up runs to the opposite side of the ring and then back to
the other side, and then he leaps over the ropes attempting a suicide dive, but
Python moves out of the way, sending Hyped Up crashing to the arena floor.
Python stomps on Hyped Up for a while, and then he brought his head back as far
as possible and then he dropped it down onto the ring steps. The referee hops
out of the ring and demands Python to take it back into the ring. Python
hesitantly rolls Hyped Up back in the ring, and then rolled back in himself.
Kave: Things are sure starting to heat up now Bret!
Bret: Yea sure, whatever you say Kave.
Python grabs the limp body of Hyped Up and forces him to his feet. Python kicks
Hyped in the gut and then put Hypes head in between his legs. Python puts both
his arms around Hyped Up's waist, and lifts him up into a powerbomb position.
Python then grabs Hyped Up's arm and then drops him into-
Kave: The Python edge! Python just nailed Hyped Up with the Python Edge! I can't
believe it folks, this has got to be over!
Bret: (sarcastically) Wow, what a
maneuver, I can't believe it…(now Bret jumps out of his seat and says this
loudly) Please let this be over, God, if you have ever loved me, please let this
be over!
The referee drops to his side and drops his hand on the mat. The referee brings
his hand down again, and he slams it onto the mat registering a two count. The
referee brings his hand up as third time, and right before slamming his hand on
the canvas, he notices Hypes foot on the ropes. "Hey get off of him, his
foot is on the ropes, get off!" The referee yells at Python as he picks
himself up in disbelief.
Bret: Damn, I thought this thing could have been over!
Kave: So you are rooting for Python?
Bret: No, I was just hoping that we could finally move on from this bore-fest!
Kave: Your unbelievable Bret!
Bret: Did you mean that in a good sense?
Kave: No comment…
Bret: Answer the damn question!
Kave: I am not saying anything, no comment!
Bret: What a guy you are Kave, what a damn guy!
Kave: What's that supposed to mean?
Bret: No comment, I'm not saying anything!
Kave: (shakes his head in disbelief) Anyway, moving on...
Hyped Up grabs Python and whips him into the turnbuckles as hard as he possibly
can, sending Python staggering back, and then Hyped Up nails Python with a spine
buster! Hyped quickly jumps up onto the top turnbuckle and hits a moonsault!
Kave: That's Hyped up's favorite combination move, he calls that "the
cooler"!
Bret: Yeah, look at me jump for joy…
Kave: I'm looking, go ahead jump, anytime your ready…
Bret: Oh shut-up, I was being sarcastic, you know that
Kave: I just gave you a taste of your own medicine!
Bret: What? For one I don't make medicine, and number two, I can't taste
anything right now, I just had a dentist appointment and my mouth is numb!
Kave: How do you live with yourself?
Bret: Well it's simple…first I wake up in the morning, then I brush my
teeth…
Hyped Up slowly draped his arm over Python's body, and the referee once again
began to count. However, right before the referee put his hand down for number
three, a man pulls the referee out of the ring!
Kave: Hey, that's Justin Vincible!
Justin, with the referee on the floor, enters the ring, and he sets Hyped Up for
the death drop, but then, all of a sudden another man enters the ring, and it's
Double D! Double D pulls Hyped off of Justin Vincible's shoulders, and then
nails Justin with the English Slam! Justin rolls out of the ring, and Double D
follows him out. The referee slowly pulls himself back to his feet and into the
ring, just as Hyped Up hits the cool down on Python! Hyped Up
covers…"One…Two…Three!!!" The referee calls for the bell and
raises Hyped Up's arm into the air. "Ladies and Gentleman, the winner of
this match…He will be going on into the triple threat match later on
tonight…he is…Hyped Up!!!" Ring announcer Tony Jordan says as the
cameras switch to Bret Spiner and Kave Quinn.
Kave: There you have it Bret…
Our first wrestler, that will be challenging for the Gauntlet Championship, is
Hyped up…
Bret: I hate to say
it… but it was a good match… except for Double D interfering!!
