Part 1
For the next two weeks most of the WWF superstars had vacation time. Snow had covered most of the United States and Canada so getting to scheduled shows was almost impossible. Seeing this so, Vince didn't seem to mind if Matt and Jeff Hardy went back to North Carolina; of that HHH was taking Stephaine home. Hell, he had even rented a couple of cabins for a few of the superstars who's way back was damn right impossible. He just hope that some of them didn't mind bunking up with others.  The rental car made a slow way up as far to the cabin as it could. The lights blinked off and the driver let the car die.  Out from the passenger side jumped a very excited Luna, who always loved winter time and spending some time off with her husband would be perfect. From the driver's side stepped Gangrel, who shook off the snow that had fallen on him in a matter of seconds. "I hate snow." He grumbled and slammed his door. Luna smiled and threw her arms around him. "Forget the snow, let's just go inside and start our vacation." He smirked a little and kissed her softly, "As you wish." He grabbed onto her glooved hand and helped her through the inches of snow. He noticed the footprints around the doorway and squinted his eyes. "I guess someone was up here before us." Luna looked up at him, "You don't think soemone is in there, do you?" Gangrel looked at the door and shrugged. "Stay back, I'll look around." He grabbed the door knob to find it unlocked and twisted it, pushing open the door.  Edge purred softly in Alannah's face and chuckled as she giggled. Both were wearing sweat pants and flannel shirts while sipping wine infront of the lit fireplace. "Really nice of Vince to let us spend some quality time together." Edge said and sat down his glass to run a free hand through Alannah's hair. She nodded, "About time I get some of your time and not those damn women in the WWF. I really don't like the idea of being part of the Godfather's hoes again just to get to see you." Edge smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "Are you mad that we're not alone?" She shook her head, "No, Christian and Shelby will stay out of our way. They'll be too busy playing in the snow or skiing or something like that." Edge nodded, "Chris shouldn't be out there, he's had that cold." Alannah sighed and smiled, "Your brother is a big boy, let him take care of himself-" She stopped as the backdoor of the cabin creaked open.  "Speak of the devil." Edge smiled as Alannah jumped off his lap. They walked into the backroom as the door opened all the way. Edge's fists tighten and he growled, "What the Hell are you doing here?"

Gangrel frowned, "What am I doing here? What are you doing here?" Edge stepped forward a little, determined to pound Gangrel into powder, but Alannah laid a hand on his arm and he stopped; breathed in deep, and focused his eyes on the man he hated the most. "I'm spending time with loved ones in a cabin that Vince set up for me. Now the question is, what are you doing here?" Gangrel stared in anger, but relaxed as Luna squeezed his hand. "I came up here to spend time with my wife in a cabin that Vince set up for me." Edge frowned again, "Well, you have the wrong cabin." Luna shook her head, causing snowflakes to fall and melt on the wooden floor. "Sorry, it's the right cabin. It looks like there's been a mistake." "Damn right." Edge growled while Alannah squeezed his arm. "Honey, the cabin does have an extra bedroom. We can't just send them away, they'll never make it back to town before the snowstorms hits." Edge's expression of hate turned towards Gangrel, then Luna, and back to Alannah. He sighed.  "Fine, but I don't want to see you, or even breath the same air as you." Gangrel nodded to say he agreed. He turned to Luna and and pulled off his gloove to smooth her face. "Go ahead and go to our room, I'll get the bags." "Edge can help you." Alannah said and gave Edge a look which put his persistance to rest. He groaned and nodded.  "Just...just let me get some boots on."  Alannah handed Luna a cup of coffee and sat down at the bar with her. "Sorry about Edge, we just weren't expecting this." Luna nodded, "Neither were we. For all we known that we were given this place for two weeks vacation. I guess Vince must have sent us both here together on accident." "What a mistake." Alannah smiled and pulled back her hair so that it didn't get in the way. "And with the right people. Edge absolutly hates Gangrel, and I'm sure Gangrel's feelings towards him are similar." Luna nodded, "There's bad blood between them, and Vince had to stick them together for two weeks." Just then Shelby ran into the room, face red from the cold. She saw Luna at the bar with Alannah, "Uh, nevermind, I guess you know." Christian followed in after her, holding onto a suitcase. He coughed and wiped his nose. "Where you want these Luna?" "Anywhere will be fine." He nodded and coughed again, walking into the spare bedroom. Alannah looked at Shelby, "Is he ok?" Shelby sighed, "He got tired from skiing, so we came home. That cough has me worried sick." Luna nodded, "He looks awfully white." Edge walked into the room with a duffle bag and a suitcase. "What?" "Christian, I think he's cold is a little bad." Alannah said and made four more cups of coffee. "What's wrong with Christian?" Gangrel asked as he sat down the rest of the bags, deep concern in his voice. Edge frowned and turned around, "It's none of your business." Gangrel sneered and stormed off into the spare room. Luna sighed and grabbed a second cup of coffee. "I'll take it to him, talk to you girls later." Alannah and Shelby nodded as she closed the door to the spare room. Christian walked back into the kitchen and sat at the bar, placing his hands on the cup of steaming coffee. He sneezed, then coughed, and sniffed.  "What a vacation, eh?" "Chris, you're white as a ghost." Edge said. Alannah put her hand on Christian's forhead and frowned, "You, mister, have a fever." Shelby sighed, "I told you you shouldn't have went out today." Christian shurgged and took a sip of his coffee. "I'll be fine in the morning."  That night, while everyone slept, the snow started to fall and fall and fall and fall.....

Edge pushed on the cabin door and growled. "We're snowed in! I can't believe it!" Alannah looked up at him from her seat next to the fireplace. "It's not like anyone doesn't know where we are, dear." She sighed and looked at the pan over the fireplace, which was heating the water for their coffee. The electric had gone out and their only source of heat was the fireplace. Edge kicked the door and growled. "I can't believe this shit!" "Calm down, you're going to wake the others." Edge frowned, "Who cares if I wake them up? They shouldn't be here in the first place!" yelling loud enough to make sure those who he wanted to hear it did. Alannah sighed, "I was thinking more of Shelby and your sick brother? I'm sure Christian doesn't appreciate you yelling your head off while he's trying to sleep." Edge sighed and sat down next to her. "You're right, of course." She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Of course I'm right.  Now, go get me the stuff for the coffee." He nodded and went into the kitchen. Luna walked out of the bedroom and yawned. "What was all that yelling about?" Alannah sighed. "Snowstorm last night. Electric is out and the doors are stuck. Edge was a little tiffed." Luna smiled, "So, we're stuck here?" "Seems that way." Gangrel emerged out of the bedroom next and walked beind Luna, grabbing her around the waist. He kissed her neck and sigh, setting his head on her shoulder. Alannah smiled a little.   Shelby walked into the room in a frantic. "It's Chris." Alannah rose from her place and ran after Shelby as they went to their room. Luna and Gangrel stood behind them as Shelby sat next to him by the bed. On the bed layed Christian; shivering and whimpering, white as the sheet that laid on him. "My God. Luna, quick, go get some towels and wet them down in the water over the fireplace!" Alannah shouted orders as she walked next to Shelby and put her hand on Christian's head. "He's burning up!" Shelby went to the closet to get more blankets and to get Edge.  Alannah sat on one side, wiping down Christian's forhead with the hot towel while Luna sat on the other side trying to wake him up. Gangrel stood in the doorway, just looking in on the site. He didn't even seem to notice as Edge rushed past him to his brother's bedside. Edge grabbed ontp Christian's hand and smoothed his face. "Chris? Chris can you hear me?" "He hears you just fine." Luna said and placed her hand on Christian's forehead. Edge looked up at Alannah and embraced her tightly.

pt.4
Gangrel carried in another bucket of snow and sat it by the fireplace. Alannah was sitting in a chair, looking out the snowy window. "How's Christian?" She sighed, "Not any better. He needs to see a doctor, he needs to break that fever." "Is Luna in there with him?" She nodded. "Thanks for bringing in the snow. Maybe we can heat up enough of it to give him a warm bath." She paused as Luna came out witht he clothes Christian had been wearing, looking to Alannah. "We need to get these out of here, unless you want all of us sick." Alannah pointed to the fire, "Burn them.  It'll save on the wood." Gangrel looked at Luna with a heavy heart. She sighed. If anyone knew Gangrel as much as she did, then they knew that he loved Christian as if he was his own child. The break-up bewteen the three of them had been the hardest thing in his life, and he was for sure that Christian hated him. He knew Edge hated him, but the thought that christian did drove him from the WWF for months. It was Lune herself that brought him out of it and back to the ring. They turned to see Shelby walk into the room and sigh. "He's doing worste, the chills wont stop and he's begining to become delerious, when's he's awake that is." They all sighed, then jumped as they heard a scream from the room.  Christian was backed against the bed, shaking and eyes wide in madness. He looked at Edge and screamed again.  "Get away from me! Don't touch me!" Tears started to fall from Edge's eyes like the snow as he reached out to Christian. "Chris, it's me, calm down." He said, trying to sooth his baby brother. Christian's chest heaved for air and the blonde's eyes were glazed as he stared at Edge as he tried to reach from him again. Christian screamed and jumped off the bed, running into the other room. He saw Gangrel and stopped dead in his tracks, pantings as his body wanted air. Everyone watched as Christian grabbed ahold of him, embracing him tightly, smoothering his face into Gangrel's chest. He whimpered, "Don't let him touch me...please...." Gangrel was shocked as the blonde clinged to him. He looked at Edge who looked at him in anger and grief. Finally, Gangrel placed his arms around Christian and stroked his hair. "It's all right, you're safe with us. I wont let anything happen to you." Christian whimpered again, then sighed, falling limp in the embrace. Gangrel picked him up with ease and took him back to bed, laying him down. He pulled the covers over him and smoothed his face as Christian slept deeply. He turned to the doorway and saw everyone looking at him. Everyone, except Edge.  Edge fell onto his hands and knees in the snow and panted. He looked up into the empty sky and screamed. The cold air hurt his lungs and he cried. Not from the pain of the body, but the pain of the soul. His brother was afraid; afraid of him! Christian had ran from him and into the arms of Gangrel, the man he hated! He lowered his bod closer to the ground and wept. He felt a soft hand on his shoulder and looked up to see Shelby there. "You ok?" Edge wiped his face with his cold and wet hands and nodded. "Yeah, never better. My brother is dying and the who's the one person he runs to? That..that..that bastard!" Shelby sighed and helped him up. "Chris is sick, he doesn't know what he's doing. Listen, we'll go in, drink something warm and get some sleep. You don't need to be in the night air anyway." He nodded and stood up.

pt.5
Alannah stayed by Christian's bedside that night along with Gangrel. Shelby had convinced Edge to get some sleep and was now trying to warm some chicken broth. Luna had fell asleep in the livingroom earlier that evening. Alannah patted Christian's forhead with a wash cloth and watched Gangrel as he held onto his hand. Finally, she sighed. "Tell me what happened." He looked at her, surprised. "You mean Edge never told you?" "He said not to worry about it, but I want to know." Gangrel sighed. "You know that Edge and Christian had a fight and neither spoke to each other for years, right?" She nodded. "Well, I was there for Christian when Edge wasn't. I looked after him. I took care of him when he needed it. I tried to get him and Edge to speak to one another, but that bastard was Hell bent on making him suffer. Finally, I guess Edge realized that he was being an asshole and apologized." Alannah nodded again, "So why this break up?" "I guess Edge was jealous because Christian was attached to me." She raised an eyebrow in question. "And I'm sure you had nothing else to do with it?" Gangrel sighed, "Okay, I was jealous because Christian wanted so much to be with Edge. And after how Edge treated him, he still loved him. I wanted him to love me like he does Edge." Alannah sighed. "Edge is his brother, you can't expect him not to love him. I'm sure he's greatful to you for reuniting him with him. But it sounds like to me that you and Edge need to get your heads out your asses and see the light."  Edge tossed and turn in his sleep. All he could see when he closed his eyes was Christian hugging Gangrel. Christian with Gangrel. It tore him up inside. He could hear Christian moaning in the other room. Tears swelled in his eyes. His brother was sick and he wouldn't let him even in the same room. But that bastard Gangrel was there now, holding his hand, petting his hair, telling him he'd protect him. Him! He growled and sat up, holding his head in his hands. He heard the door open and saw light spread across the floor. He waited for Alannah's touch but instead the door closed and there was silence, folowed by, "We need to talk." He looked up at Gangrel and frowned. "There's nothing to talk about-" "Look, will you stop being so pig headed and listen to me!" Gangrel shouted. Edge looked at him and sneered, "Say your peace and leave." Gangrel sighed. "The break up didn't need to happen. It was both our faults, and I'll admit it was mostly mine." He watched as Edge smiled, and not a warm smile either. "I say we call it even for now. Christian needs us both." "Us both?! He needs me, he doesn't need you!" Gangrel growled, "You're one to talk! You left him, you abanded him! And he came to me for help. I was the one that reunited you with your brother. You left him, not me! It's not my fault that he loves me as much as he loves you!" Edge jumped out of bed and stood face to face with Gangrel. The anger in him was fleeing slowly. Finally, Edge sighed. "All right. I admit, the break-up was stupid. I was jealous of you because you were there for Christian when I wasn't." "And I was jealous of you because Christian wanted you back even after the way you treated him." Edge looked at him and raised an eyebrow, extending his hand. "Then, we call it even? Wipe the table clean?" Gangrel smiled and shook Edge's hand, "Wipe it clean, wipe it white as snow."

Christian woke up the next morning. He was covered in sweat and was hot from all the blankets piled on him. He sat up and yawned, stretching. He looked over and saw Alannah asleep in a chair by his bed. He look to the other side and found Shelby sleeping in the other chair. He smiled and reached over, kissing her softly. He stood up and stretched his limbs even further. He changed out of his sweaty clothes and into something dry and cool. He yawned and scratched his head, walking into the livingroom. He found Luna asleep on the couch and a bucket of water by the fireplace, which was now only a few burning coals. His stomach growled and he went into the kitchen. You could have knocked him over with a feather at what he saw. Gangrel and Edge were at the table, playing a game of cards. Edge had his cap turned backwards while Gangrel puffed on a cigar. The two looked up at him and they smiled. "Morning sunshine." Edge smiled and looked at Gangrel. "Go fish dipstick." Gangrel groaned and smiled at Christian's confused look. "Um, okay, who are you guys and what have you done to the real Edge and Gangrel?"  The two men at the table looked at each other and laughed. Edge pulled up a chair and dealed another round of cards. "C'mere baby brother, have we got a story to tell you." As Edge retold what had happen Gangrel wondered to himself.
Two weekes later, everyone was surprised when the Brood was back together.
