Ric Flair Becomes a 15-Time World Heavyweight Champion!!!!!

I can't believe it! I just updated this site yesterday with the news of Ric needing shoulder surgery and now today I'm posting the news of Ric winning his 15th World title!!! I can't ever remember being happier than I am at this very moment! Tonight on WCW Monday Nitro, Ric Flair defeated Jeff Jarrett for the WCW World Heavyweight title with a quick roll-up for the 3-count. Since Ric will now be competing in a match against his son David at the Great American Bash, he had asked that his World Title shot be given to him tonight and it was granted. For those of you who watched the show, wasn't it also awesome to get to see Ric's home? The angle with David is progressing nicely. I've heard that WCW is very happy with the ratings for those segments featuring Ric, David, Russo, and Arn. As of tonight, Ric has added the stipulation to his match with David at the Bash that if he loses, he will retire from the sport of wrestling forever. I know that he will be back, though. But he has now accomplished the one thing I had wanted him to do before he retired and that was win the World Title one more time! Now I am happy, no matter what else may happen with Ric's career in the future, because that can never be taken away from him.....he's a FIFTEEN TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!
