Flair to Go for the World Title at the Bash!

Will Ric "walk that aisle" again wearing the Big Gold Belt? He'll get his chance to do just that at the up-coming WCW pay-per-view event "The Great American Bash." This past Wednesday on Thunder, a battle royal was held involving nearly every wrestler in the company. The prize to the winner was a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Title at the Bash on June 11th in Baltimore. Ric Flair was the last man standing and thus, he was awarded the shot at the World Title. Who he will face is not yet known at this time. I have to commend Bischoff and Russo for realizing that "The Nature Boy" is still a key player in the company and can draw money in a big-time marquee match-up. Also, I appreciated the fact that they allowed Ric to be the "figure-head" of the Millionaire's Club this past week on Thunder. It was great to see Ric as the spokesman for the group and have the group come out to his music, including Hogan! Now, maybe we'll get to see our hero as "The Champ" once again! Can you say "FIFTEEN TIMES?!"
