The Cutting Edge

Hey, This is will be the final Cutting Edge. Why, I hear you ask, as it is merely the second edition well I've decided that not enough happens in the SWF in a mere week to keep this report filled with good tidbits and really make it a worth while read. This does not mean I'll be giving up the reporting business at all but instead moving onto a scheme which myself and Rob think is a better one for this style of report

The New 'cutting edge'

We are instead going to set up a Newsboard, not on the FrontPage, but there will be a link to it there. Note, this is all in planning so this could easily change but this is the current plan. On it, there will be tidbits posted as I receive them, in fact, if anybody has news they can send it to be and I will post it. It will be the quickest way to make announcements in the SWF. As of yet it's all in planning but I would guess any and every member of the SWF will be able to post on it, which means it will contain the very latest news from the Executive board. In keeping with the report style we will have certain days dedicated to certain things. While any tidbits we receive will be posted the day we receive them the current plan is to have Tuesdays dedicated to OOC interviews. Somewhere in there will also be weekly and or monthly awards of some kind, which will have set days. This is not expected to be fully set up until Friday at the earliest but once it is set up you should check it every day as news will be posted constantly, I think you'll agree this system suits the report and benefits the SWF itself the most. Also look out for days dedicated to getting OOC quotes on current issues in fact everything normally in this report will be transferred over.

Current SWF events

Again not much happening on this front this week, but I must say well done to Rob for managing to write consistently good Rages despite being busy with all the work that goes with being SWF President, and he even still manages to roleplay with 911. Not much news for the events as the writes situation has thankfully settled down as we bow have SNA written by Craig Doyle MNR written by Robert Webster and NHB still written by Karl Smyth and these look to be the writers for a while now, which is quite good for the fed to not be swapping around all the time.

The pay per view

At the moment it looks a tad, bare really. Only one non title match but on the plus side every SWF title will be on the line. I guess the event with every title on the line will have a few shockers in it we can look forward to, mainly title changes but perhaps some new feuds starting. I've yet to receive any word on the likes of this happening but with a card filled with title matches like we have one would expect something along those lines to take place. I think it will be a very solid event but could do with one of two more matches, perhaps a number one contenders match or a lower card non title match. To all the lower card people who want to start angles for the PPV it's not to late but please get them sent in now before it is to late. On the news front I have at the moment nothing out of the ordinary to report on the Pay Per View you'll just have to keep a look out on the Newsboard.

Tidbits

A very bare section in the report here this week, and no OOC interview or quotes. I really do apologies for this but I can't post enough interesting tidbits for a weekly report hopefully the Newsboard will carry more interesting news and I've no doubt it will again I will try to keep you posted on the Newsboard.

Chase to turn heel

I've just gotten word right from the top of the SWF, the president Rob Webster what Chase, one of the new blood of the SWF that we are so excited about is about to turn heel. The way which this will happen is unknown to me so I suppose your guess is as good as mine but this will perhaps open him up and put him in line for more of a push, again his roleplaying will decide this but a big storyline that would perhaps be lined up might put him on the SWF map and get him noticed by the big cheeses of the SWF to perhaps give him that push, again it all comes down to his roleplaying.

Building from the foundation

I thought I would give my opinion on how I see the SWF going at the moment and I think that it is doing just as the title of this tidbit says. At the moment we are focusing on building our lower card talent into future main eventers and making the SWF roster a bigger one. Success in lower feuds may play a big part on who becomes the future big shots of the SWF main event scene and it is an exciting time for the SWF, with the likes of Steve MacKenzie due back in roughly two months and myself in three, when these people interact, the SWF will be a hell of a federation again. Also there is no longer unrest in the SWF, in other words I don't think much people will be quitting from now on which adds a whole new stability to the SWF aswell which means drawing up angles entirely easier without the worry that one of the big names in it will take off.

Wrestler Of The Week

Given on roleplaying alone and not on what they happened to do in the ring this week, as this report is strictly OOC, I would have to give the award to:

overdose

One to look out for in the future no doubt about it, I can see this guy and Steve WiZe going very far in the SWF. As soon as he gets more involved in the SWF's Hardcore division his career will rocket from there in my opinion. He should win the title and use it as a stepping stone, Speaking of titles I'd expect Steve WiZe to win the Hardcore title at the Pay Per View and to eventually feud with Overdose over it, the winner of this feud will most likely be in line for a big push should they roleplay with quality quantity and Consistently they could even go all the way to the top, look out for these in times to come.

Sorry about the length but keep checking the SWF site for news on the Newsboard which will most likely not keep the name The Cutting Edge.
