"Coach" Brent Becker, is about to enter his 13th season as head wrestling coach at CBA. Coach was an outstanding High School wrestler at Fonda-Fultonville, with 110 career wins. He previously coached in the Fonda- Fultonville youth program and Fonda-Fultonville High School along with coaching at Watervleit High before coming here to CBA. He still wrestles competitively, as recently as 1999 Empire State Games. Also a competitive 5K-15K runner, coach previously coached varsity cross country and track at CBA.  His dedication and year-round commitment to wrestling, as well as his knowledge as a wrestler, a coach and as a former referee makes him one of the most respected coaches in Section II. Coach is excited about this years team and enthusiastic about the younger wrestlers and their interest in the program. Coming off an exciting season placing 2nd in the Big 10, 2 Class "A" Champions, and 1 Section 2 Champion, coach looks to the future with optimism toward CBA wrestling.

Coach Bob Florio, is excited about joining CBA's coaching staff for the 2001-2002 season. Coach Florio was a 2001 Adirondack coach for the Empire State Games. We are very fortunate, here at CBA to have Coach Florio join our coaching staff.

Coach Becker has two part time assistants this season:

Brother Ullyses de Armas, is a former faculty member at CBA as director of campus ministry. Brother has been reassigned but promises to help out as much as his schedule permits. Brother "U" was JV baseball coach while at CBA. His upbeat and inspirational style and support of the program has made him a very valuable part of the coaching staff .

Coach Cheney, is on the faculty at CBA and is the Modified Coach and frequently helps out in the high school wrestling room. His patience and perseverance are important to teach this to young wrestlers.
