Within there are six "sanctuaries" accessible by footpath, each one dedicated to a particular Flower and Quality:
Azaleas -- Happiness
Orchids -- Beauty
Bromeliads -- Health
Vine Goddess -- Wisdom
Roses -- Romance
Cut Flowers -- Wealth
The style of these sanctuaries varies from the Classical -- complete with Grecian columns, Classic scupture and momumental/ornamental vases (Photo, right) -- to the utterly Fantastickal. Some of the design elements in the latter have to be seen as no mere description can even begin to do them justice (see photo, below). Suffice it to say, methinks Sam was hitting the old "Faerie Dust" pretty hard toward the end of this particular project!

The weather settled down nicely this Saturday afternoon, turning clear and cooler as night fell. Alas, but my time at TRF was severely limited -- due both to work on the following morrow and sheer exhaustion from my excesses on Friday night. There was time, however, to visit briefly with James Huckabay (AKA the Tavern Knight) and his SO, Madame Fatima (AKA Pat Rikard (Photo, left)), at their booth "Madame Fatima's Mysticks" in the Moroccan Bazaar (aye, that is a stuffed Plague rat on Madame Fatima's table. Since she was born in the Year of the Rat, she considers the rat to be her Familiar. Unlike Zoltan the Adequate, however, she did not name her rat "Bubo"!). Time, too, to catch a bit of the "Gypsy Dance Theater" onstage, there (Photo, below).

Then it was truly time to head for camp, pack out my gear and head for the house. Mike later told me they had an enormous drumjam in the campground that evening, with a large crowd, lots of dancers and an awesome fireshow! On the other hand, Pam also told me that it was pretty quiet there after midnight. Guess most folks were simply too tired from Opening Day to do much carousing, afterwards!
Maybe another weekend...
If it doesn't rain then, too!
