For those who attended, the Farewell Jacob "Sparkles" Roberts Midnight Mel Party was a smash. The high class elites of Danville rubbed elbows and hob-nobbed with the truckers, Mormon Missionaries, and the other colorful folk of Walnut Creek. Even though Jake Roberts was given the "so long for now," whenever any of us see a Harry Potter book, or a Ford Aerostar with blacked out windows and a bumpersticker that says "I Brake for Children," we all will surely think of him.
