Although things are not perfect Because of trial or pain Continue in thanksgiving Do not begin to blame Even when the times are hard Fierce winds are bound to blow God is forever able Hold on to what you know Imagine life without His love Joy would cease to be Keep thanking Him for all the things Love imparts to thee Move out of " Camp Complaining " No weapon that is known On earth can yield the power Praise can do alone Quit looking at the future Redeem the time at hand Start every day with worship To " thank " is a command Until we see Him coming Victorious in the sky We'll run the race with gratitude Xalting God most high Yes, there'll be good times and yes some will be bad, but..... Zion waits in glory.....where none are ever sad !

Who ever it was that came up with this one had to have had some divine guidance of the Holy Spirit, I was very impressed and blessed !

  " TODAY, is another day spent serving the Lord, I am so blessed, there is no time to ever be stressed ! " The shortest distance between any problem folk's have and a solution is the distance between their knees and the floor. The one who kneels daily to the Lord Jesus can stand up to anything that comes their way. Remember this thought :
The teacher educates your children;
The banker looks after your money;
The doctor treats your illnesses;
The armed forces defend your liberty;
The lawyer draws up your will;
The funeral director buries you;
BUT ONLY THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
CAN SAVE YOUR SOUL !

SPENT IN PRAYER AND PRAISE
IS TIME WELL SPENT
AND BLESSED

FOLLOWING JESUS !

Today, upon a bus,
I saw a girl with golden hair.
and wished I was as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and wore a crutch.
But as she passed, she passed a smile.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 legs, the world is mine.

I stopped to buy some candy.
The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it'd do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me,
"I thank you, you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk with folks like you.
You see," he said, "I'm blind."
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 eyes, the world is mine.

Later while walking down the street,
I saw a child with eyes of blue.
He stood and watched the others play.
He did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
" Why don't you join the others, dear ?"
He looked ahead without a word.
And then I knew, he couldn't hear.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 ears, the world is mine.

With feet to take me where I'd go.
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine.

SHAPE'S AND ALL KINDS OF SITUATION'S
THE
" TATOR'S "
IN THE CHURCH  

There are some church folks who never do anything to help, but are gifted at finding fault with the way others do the work.
They are called " Comment Taters. "

Some of the church folks are very bossy and like to tell others what to do, but don't want to soil their own hands. They are called " Dick Taters. "

There is a fellow in the church that quotes and give his interpretation of every verse in the bible.
They call him " The Common Tater. "

Some of the church folks are very short in stature . They are called " Small Taters. "

Then there is a group of church folks who are always looking to cause problems by asking others to agree with them. It is too hot or too cold in the church, the sermon is too long or too dry.
They are called " Agie Taters. "

And of course no church is without those folks who say they will help, but somehow just never get around to actually doing the promised help. They are called " Hezzie Taters. "

Some of the church folks are very tall and thin. They are called " Slim Taters. "

Some church folks can put up a front and pretend to be religious and someone they are not. They are called " Emma Taters. "

Then there is the guy they call " Old Bill " who agrees with and gets along with everbody as long as they think the way he does. And some of the nicer church folk's refer to him as " The Old Hard Tator, " Huh ?

Then there are some church folks that go around praying for anything and everybody. They are called " Medda Taters. "

Then last but not least there is a group of folks in the church, who love others and do what they say they will.
They are always prepared to stop whatever they are doing and lend a helping hand.
They bring real sunshine into the lives of others.....
They are called " The Sweet Taters. "
