The Amtgard Wizard by Oni Alugard Yardiovich

Wizard was the first Amtgard class I have ever played. I remember those days of using a long sword, magic bolts and ice balls, and heat weapons. From my sources, the Wizard is the most powerful class in normal Amtgard. Think about it for just a minute. At 2nd level, the Wizard can spend one point of his second level magic to buy a lightning bolt. That lightning bolt can instantly kill somebody when hit, and it can be thrown as many times as desired.

Also, at 1st level they help Warriors out greatly using enchant shield. I remember of thinking of a deadly combination at 2nd level. The combo of hold person, heat weapon, and lightning bolt. If the person is not a Barbarian or a high level Monk, it'll work. That's only at 2nd level! Also, Wizards get spell of Wounding that takes out Barbarians.

They then grow really strong at 3rd level, with something called Fireball. This thing counts on bounces, and can cancel the effects of a Barbarian's fight after death. Plus, it can be remained active. Another thing I can do is Iceball somebody, and double fireball somebody. Of course, I would have had to purchase 1 iceball and 2 fireballs. Then, they then get the ability to buy extension, which doubles the range of a spell. This comes in handy with pretty much every spell. Spells like yield, hold person, wounding, heat weapon, dispel magic, curse, all verbal magic!

That can make curse a 100 foot range spell! Same thing with the yield spell. This is best used in higher levels. Around 4th level they get powerful, and creates a new idea of a combo. Hold person and curse. Now, high level Monks can get around it, but they are not immune to the Wizard's spell balls. Some classes may be carrying an enchantment. Well, I remember going up to Lochlan, which is in Johnson City, Tennessee. I was in this flag class battle game, and I was 3rd level then. On the other team was a 6th level Wizard. He put stack on this warrior, stacked up with protection from magic and enchant weapon. The warrior walks up to us, and kills a few of our guys, except a few. There was a reeve right there. I check my list, and I saw that I bought 1 dispel magic. Well, I then used dispel magic on him, and took away both his enchantments. Then, our guys killed him. It was so fun.

Also, I can enchant people's weapons and make it where magic doesn't even affect them. I can also teleport a destined location of my choosing. Now, at 5th level is when it's get interesting. I can have 5 lives, fly, lend one of spells to someone else, reduce the cost of any weapons I buy, and can gain more points for 1st level magic. So, I could be flying, and casting curse at the same time. Yes, that is possible by the way. It's just cool! Now, I have reached 6th level, and I am pretty darn powerful. I would take defend, which is really nice, and stacks. I could stack a warrior with protection from magic and enchant weapon.

In other words, Wizard is my favorite class, and I couldn't think of anything better. That's all I have to say about that. Also, I have a few combos listed if you would like to check them out.
