Here's our new friend Holly. She loves New York City! (You can read for yourself right there why we love Holly!)	She also loves Japanese food...and Dad is going to take her out for some.	A steady diet, in fact. Dad announces he's been transferred to Japan.
Technically, she's been transferred to Japan as well, and she's not happy about it.	Holly's plenty sick and tired of losing all her friends when Dad gets a better offer elsewhere.	She wants to stay with Grandma, but Dad forbids it since she has, err, interesting medicinal habits.
But when Dad mentions that her sister Valerie might be able to put Holly up, she brightens.	She wants to live with Val instead of going to Japan with Daddy.	Pops explains that Valerie is too embroiled in her work and her lovelife to, in his words, babysit Holly.
But Holly's much older and wiser now....	...and mature, to a point.	But Holly wants to tell Val herself, saying that Dad's not that great as a salesman. But he refutes that with his plaque.
And of course, with the picture of his plaque.	Dad relents and allows Holly to make the arrangements. That's worth a hug.	She sees Dad out just before she tumbles out of her luggage onto the floor.
Okay, whose bra is it anyway?	One opening sequence later, Holly's pal Gary helps Holly get her bags up to Valerie's apartment.	The elevator door is no help.
Holly giddily describes the wonderful game she just played.	You can play it in groups or alone...just be sure you use an elevator.	Holly explains that she doesn't want to outright ask Valerie to take her in, so...
Holly is psyched to see her sister again for what only her dad thinks is a week.	Maybe a little too psyched. She's enthusing over her sis' wash-n-go hair.	So is Gary. This'd be a good time to mention that Gary is more than a little stuck on Valerie, although Val keeps calling him Glenn.
Holly can't resist doing a little redecorating, which she does merely by moving a picture frame from one table to another.	Valerie wants to have her apartment feng shui'ed someday, and Holly is convinced that Feng Shui is an old 80's band like Wang Chung.	Holly is fascinated over Val's deep knowledge of feng shui.
Valerie leads such a fascinating life!	Val's unimpressed with Holly's level of fascination, so she runs off to unpack.	At lunch later that day, Valerie tells about a prospective client of hers, Holly's favorite skate rat, Tony Hawk.
He's promoting his new line of cologne so you too can smell like a hawk. Again, Holly is so impressed.	Holly tries to flag down a prospective client for Val, that being a fashion designer named Lisa Lillien.	She has a cute and cuddly little lap dog named Festus. Festus???
As the designer sits down to chat with Valerie, Holly sneaks Festus some food under the table.	But Festus starts choking! (Quick...call Doc Adams!)	"He can have broccoli, right?" Wrong.
So Holly administers doggie Heimlich...	...and dislodges the piece of broccoli right into Lisa's eye!	So Holly's now licking her wounds with Gary at the apartment, wondering how she's going to make up for that little episode with the dog.
She recalls what Valerie said about feng shui, and she decides to surprise Valerie by redoing the apartment, using the Internet for help.	Valerie's surprised all right...she and Jeff are sprawled on the floor after having tripped over the couch placed right in front of the doorway!	Our new feng shui maven explains how the placement of mirrors, chimes and serenity pools in her apartment will bring its chi score right up there.
There goes Valerie-san's negative chi needle...right off the graph. Her bed's in the kitchen!	After seeing Val step in a serenity pool and clunk into come heavy wood wind chimes...	...Holly's sure she'll be practicing her feng shui in Japan from now on.
Now it's the day of Tony Hawk's big party, and Holly's pumped that she'll get to meet him.	She's even brought Gary's skateboard for him to sign.	Val hopes the night will go smoothly, despite one bartender calling sick and...
...a balloon twister who's had one too many. What is that, Holly?	Holly watches as an assistant brings out the stick of the great Tony Hawk.	She wonders what it would be like to be an extreme athlete doing 1080s on a regular basis.
She starts out with a simple kick.	She'll now attempt an Ollie.	She Ollie-oops the deck off the terrace.
Uh-oh!	"No! No! No! It landed on the landing of the apartment just below the roof, so at least nobody got hurt.	She knocks on the door.
A kid, who we will refer to here as Kid, answers the door.	Holly politely asks for the board back, but Kid claims ownership.	Kid tries to end the conversation, but Holly needs that stick back or else my life in America as I know it is over.
She offers $20 for the board, but Kid has other things in mind.	He'll give up the board for a little, shall we say, quality time with Holly.	They negotiate, and Holly finally gives in...and promises to give him "one kiss".
"Close your eyes!"...	...so she can fool you!	It feels soft and wet, just like a real kiss. he'll never know the difference!
Mmmmmmmmm-wah!	Best kiss he's ever had, probably...but it did nothing for Holly except get her board back.	He describes things in his boudoir to her in greater detail than she cares to know, so Holly decides to end it there.
The roof's door is locked from the outside.	But Holly finds the roof utility access. "Hello!"	Holly comes up right in the middle of Tony Hawk's halfpipe! Tony found a board, all right -- Gary's!
AND TONY'S HEADING RIGHT FOR HER!	Holly gapes as she watches El Hawko veer right off the halfpipe...	...and onto the buffet table on the terrace below. WHAM! Now he smells like a dead hawk!
Hawk got a 3.0 for that move, but the board made a perfect 10 point landing.	Score .10 for one of the wheels, too.	And it looks like Holly's chances to stay with Valerie have rolled away for good.
Holly profusely apologizes to Val.	She then tells Valerie that Dad's been transferred, and she's probably going to be shuttled off to Grandma's.	Valerie says very matter of factly that that situation sucks.
But Holly wouldn't tell you that.	Val shoos away an intrusive Jeff, and makes him do battle with the mattress in the hall so they can talk.	Valerie offers to put Holly up -- and put up with Holly -- for as long as their dad is in Japan.
After all, Holly has many advantages over Roberta, her former roommate...she wears colors other than black, she doesn't smell funny, and she shaves her underarms.	Val tells Holly that they're sisters, and things will go wrong...but that's just part of being family.	Now Holly's pumped because it'll be so cool living with Valerie other than with the grandma of dubious health habits.
Holly runs down all the fun things they'll do together, like going shopping, staying up late, and getting matching tattoos.	Valerie quickly removes the tattoos from the short list.	Even though she forbids the tattoos, Holly still loves her big sis. And big sis, Holly. And all of us, them.
So join us here each week, my friends, you're sure to get a smile out of those sometimes sisters, sometimes mom and kid, and sometimes pals named Holly and Valerie.	To cap off the show, Valerie makes one final attempt to demonstrate this Wang Chung thing.	And Gary sums up his feelings -- he may not have understood it, but at least he liked it.
