Supplemental Weapons Training
Many martial arts styles do not offer extensive weapons training, besides some form and a few fighting applications. We offer practitioners of those styles instruction in two full systems of weapons fighting, or interested parties may choose to study specific weapons.
Gatdula’s Fighting Eskrima (GFE) is our own style of Filipino stick and bladed fighting. If you do not study the Philippine fighting arts, or would like to expand your performance and knowledge of stick and knife fighting, this course will help you achieve that goal. GFE is an intense study and course of training of Philippine combat weapons. This system is not available by accelerate course, and those who would like to learn Gatdula’s Fighting Eskrima should plan to pursue this style for at least 2 years full time. GFE is available through the Weekend Warriors course, private lesson, group lesson and by training camp. For prices, please refer to the section explaining the training option you would like to undertake.

Although our Kung Fu foundation is in the Jow Ga Kung Fu
style, we do not teach Jow Ga forms to members of the CCW course. We teach
Northern Shaolin and non-traditional Southern style forms, which include all
the basic techniques from traditional Southern styles. Those wishing to learn
Jow Ga weapons must become members of the DCJG School, and learn in the normal
course of training in Jow Ga.
The extended course is a pilot program for Dean Chin’s Jow
Ga. For this reason, we do not have a projected time period to complete the
study of the Classical Chinese Weapons Course. However, we will award
Instructorship in our Weapons course after 18 months of consistent training and completion of five of the above weapons.
Because of the intensity of training for this program, each candidate must be a
certificate-bearing martial arts instructor in order to qualify.
