Someone very close to me was trying to find his mom, whom he hadn't seen since he was very, very young. I devised this spell to help him find the answers he needed. A little over a month later (which seems to be how long it takes my spells to come into fruition) his half-sister, someone he wasn't even aware of, contacted him, and through her he had his mother's phone number and address. This spell meant a lot to me, and so I think it was the most power I've ever lent to one of my spells.
Write your question on a piece of river-birch bark.Take it with you to a river or stream. Toss some tobacco and a silver coin into the water, and wait for the River-Daughter to appear.You will sense or see her, or recieve a sign. When she has, place the bark gently onto the water and recite the following incantation.
"Darkness without stars,day without sun, I can find no answer, so this spell's begun
I call you, River-Daughter, whose arms are fair and strong,reach out for the answer, with your arms so long
I cannot find the answer, I beg you, hear my plea, River-Daughter, find the answer, and bring it back to me
The stars shine on the question, the Sun the Answer sends, River-Daughter brings the answer, and that's how this spell ends."
Thank the River-Daughter, and leave without looking back. The answer you seek will soon come to you.
