Bast is the cat-headed goddess of dancing and the sun in Egyptian mythology.She is also a protecter of Ra. Originally portrayed with the head of a Lioness, through time she has been given the head of a domestic cat.
As a friend to many cats, I call upon Bast to protect my friends of the feline persuasion.Her energy always seems to lift me up, and comfort me...just as my cat friends do.
