Linky Linky!

Here are some links to some fantabulous archives and individual fic sites. And some really cool HP sites in general.

ARCHIVES

Fiction Alley - seven sickles an ounce!

Fiction Alley is my favorite archive site for HP Fanfic. Their stories and artwork are of "any size, shape, or ship," their Mods are quite helpful and only "mod"erately scary; plus with Fiction Alley Park and the famous Ships threads, it's just fun to use. "Fiction Alley Park...We scare the pigeons!"

Unleash your imagination and free your soul...

You know, all of us ficcers used to joke that reading on FanFiction.net was like looking for a needle in a haystack. The Fandom Bitches hit the nail on the head when they described this site as "if you're ten years old, on a sugar high, can't write, can't code, and English is your seventh language, boy are we the site for you!" But now, in removing all NC-17 fics and basically converting themselves to something like OriginalFiction.net, they've gone too far. Something must be done. So if you want to do your part, click the link below and take a stand for your right to freedom of speech - a stand against censorship, oppression, and general snarky stupidity.
Reverse the NC-17 Ruling on FanFiction.net! Petition

Venture into the Lair...

Azkaban's Lair is a Remus/Sirius site with lots of lovely-lovely fics of every rating (and a great series called the "First Night" fics - several contributing authors). However, if you're trying to post there, they have a waiting list stretching into the fall. (BTW, check out my ugly homemade link - the Lair doesn't have a 'link-to' bit on their page yet.)

Search the Library!

The Hogwarts Library is small and specializes in slash fics, escpecially Tom Riddle and Severus Snape (though they aren't necessarily a pairing). They have other pairings also, though. They're quite small, so stop by and give them your support!

CLIQUES

Of course, if you're really interested in slash, you should check out
lubricusRemusxSirius
Lubricus is a marvelous Slash Webclique that will link you to the sites of HP slash authors. The most popular pairing is, of course, Harry/Draco, but there are lots of ships represented, Remus/Sirius included.
Lubricus...We have a Passion for Slashin'!
Of course, that's just my own personal motto...you could also say Slashin' with Fashion, that's pretty cool too...hee hee.

The other cliques I'm a member of have the coolest little codes to put on your page, and they're super easy to be a member of - none of those stupid rules you find with some other cliques.

COOL SITES

And Remus Lupin fans will like this one...

Get your lupine license at the Werewolf Registry!

The Werewolf Registry is an awesome, vast, comprehensive, and very informative Remus Lupin fansite. Plus, it's about Remie! ::giggles:: Definitely worth a visit - and good enough to make you want to howl.

I've adopted from Wolf's Bane!

Wolf's Bane is another wonderful, up-and-coming Remus Lupin fansite. Run by the marvelous Devi Dark Wolf, it's growing by leaps and bounds, and has really cool fanart/fics hosted there. Check it out - you can even adopt a Canid, like the one I have here.

Happy Valley Puppy Farm ... Happy Valley Puppy Farm

The Happy Valley Puppy Farm is Canis M.'s site for Remus/Sirius slash... Canis M. is an excellent author, and the page has lots of cool links to Japanese-ish Harry Potter fansites - cool artwork, too.

Aren't these the coolest buttons you've ever seen?! Visit the Siggy Icons site and put them on your page - they rock!!

HP Personalities HP Personalities HP Personalities

Hey, look, more cool buttons! This is called the Harry Potter Personalities page, designed expressly for you to...er...express your HP personalities! (I say 'personalities'...as you can see, I seem to have a few...)

Rhysenn - More Than Art

Rhysenn has been called 'the Queen of Harry/Draco slash', and I'm inclined to agree (even though the button I'm using here is a Remus/Sirius...hee hee). Her artwork is beautiful, and her fics have this wonderful, subtle way of giving you either warm fuzzies or chills. Make sure to read Raincoat!Draco, you'll never forget it.

Red Moon Rising

Red Moon Rising is Dawnatello's site for Harry Potter fanfiction and fanart, and you must visit it! Yes...she's a "grown-up"...which means two wonderful things: there are people other than computer-obsessed teenagers who write HP fanfic, and she brings a wonderful, experienced perspective to her writing (and artwork). Her stories are also hosted on Azkaban's Lair, if you're interested - but the site should definitely be visited.

Constellations The Forbidden Chamber The Harry Potter Show

Three absolutely *awesome* fanart sites. Jo (Constellations) and the famous Mushi (The Forbidden Chamber) rock my socks. Xinian (The Harry Potter Show) draws a completely different brand of art - very funny, sometimes graphically humorous, and always chock full of slashy goodness. Just be prepared to be a little shocked when you visit her page. It's definitely worth it, though. In fact, all three sites are.

The Lives and Loves of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin ... The Lives and Loves of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin

Attention All Remus/Sirius Fans!

You simply must read Ballyharnon's Of Linen. There is no question about it. It is the most beautiful, disturbing, well-written, and entertaining fic I have ever read. It is an astounding, novel-length 'lie low at Lupin's' fic that draws the reader in. but there are some disturbing themes (masochism, drug abuse, self-mutilation, etc.) - however, they really don't distract from the sheer beauty of the story and the characters.

[ I'm a gay werewolf! ] ... [ I'm an escaped convict! ]

And the author (Ballyharnon) has included dozens of supplementary fics, including prequels and sequels, excerpts and interesting tidbits, plus cool little quizzes and things.

Read it! It's the fic of a lifetime, I swear!
::grins sheepishly:: Okay, now that I've finished plugging Linen...

And, as always, there are the official sites...

Read the Books Watch the Movies
Scholastic's site for the books...and Warner Brothers' site for the movies.
Complete with more of my ugly homemade links. ;-)

Hey, it can't hurt to check out the canon, right?
