Legend has it that if you make a wish while gazing up at the new Moon in August by the end of the year, your wish will come true. This spell usually requires the use of a white candle, so you can either assist your child in this by lighting the candle and supervising (I suggest using a tea light or a birthday candle.) or you can improvise with a flashlight, a nightlight, or the light of a fish tank.
