The shire is the home of the Hobbits. Some of the most important figuers of all time have come out of the shire, Frodo Baggins, Bilbo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, and Merriadoc Bradybuck. It is a beutiful country filled with lush green feilds, farms filled with harvest.
