The Shadow Years had changed the world, but also the world has changed much since the Shadow Years.

Before the Shadow Years the outer plains had little actual influence on the world of mortals. The races were reclusive, elves were the dominant race, and magic was strong. The only religeion that appeared to be able to influence this world were the druids.

When the Dark Lord manifiested himself on this world he forever changed it. Soon more and more of the outer plains were finding ways to impact this world. Powers of the other gods grew and soon became a force upon the land, but no power grew more than evil. During this time it became neccessary for the races to work together. Each became more open and more outgoing.


After the Dark Lord was defeated many say the reign of the elves began to fade and the time of man flurished. The outer plains now had an influence on this world. Other religeions began to flurish and clerics could draw upon their god for power.

As time progressed the races began to return to their more isolationist ways. And the world tried to go bak to the ways before the Shadow Years. But this world would never be able to live as it had. Still creatures from the outer plains found there way to this world, and still none were more prolific than evil.
