Quidditch:
WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF PLAYERS!!! NPCs or other... both will be appreciated. Real Characters take priority over NPCs when it comes to positions, though.

Role Playing Quidditch games:

All gmaes will be roleplayed in the chat room at pre planned times, we'll try to make it easy for everyone to be there, so bear with us, please.
Scoring/blocking the goals will be based on a simple number system. It goes basically like this; we will make a list of numbers, one through 20 with the word miss, hit, block left, block right, or block center next to the number. WHat will happen is that as a chaser goes to shoot he or she will have to CLEARLY name which hoop they are aiming for.. Failure to do so will result in an automatic miss. Also, read Dropping the ball to clearly understand all that must happen before you may shoot. Depending on the number of the shot, the keeper will then block the previously mentioned goal, or the quaffle will fly over/under/by without scoring.

Here's an example:
For the first shot in a game the chaser posts that they aim for a certain hoop, in this case, left. At the end of their post they will choose a number between one and 20. This Chaser picks 5. Their quaffle can either hit or miss and the number 5 was a hit. So, their shot is going straight for the left hoop.
When the keeper posts he picks a number between one and 25, in this case 17. In this case that means that the keeper will block the right hand goal.
It ends up that the Chaser scores in the left hoop, having faked out the keeper.

Dropping the ball:
Before the Chaser can attempt to score, a beater from the opposing team has 30 seconds to hit a bludger towards the chaser with the ball (Whichever beater's post appears first will be counted). Again, at the end of the post the beater will put a number between one and 20. Every number will have either hit or miss next to it. Miss will miss and the Chaser may go on to try to score. Hit will hit the Chaser and knock the quaffle out of their hands. Whichever team catches the quaffle first can go on to try to score without any more bludger interference (see above for scoring rules and such).

Catching the Snitch:
At every attempt to score you may attempt to catch the snitch. There will be numbers, again... 1-40 this time. Only one of them will have a catch and the others will be misses. Same as the others; random number at the end of your posts.

There will be a ref. of our choice who will pick the numbers and such. The ref. will either not be playing or be an NPC on BOTH teams.
