I do not know if any of the members of our guild were affected by the Tsunami on December 26, 2004 or in the weeks since.
However, this is possibly the worst natural disaster of our lifetime and it has affected our world greatly.

Book Award Petition
Spanky's Book World is teaming up to petition to get an "Honorary Award" for book readers.
As it stands now, only the top 17 book readers have a trophy on their pet's lookup.
Everyone in the top 200 gourmet list receives a trophy,
we want the same for book readers!!!
We invite everyone to join us in getting the top 200 readers recognition for their hard work.

Guild Open Positions
Assistant Monitor Applications
There are assistant monitor positions available. Applicants should be of librarian rank or higher in the guild and should be able to work at least two shifts every week. Applicants should be calm, articulate, aware of the guild rules and of how the message board works.
Please send in a little about yourself and what hours you would like to work. Flexibility is a bonus for those odd occasions when real life interferes with someones duty.

Newspaper Staff Applications
The newspaper is currently looking for additional staff writers and content editors. The paper is also interested in finding individuals with html experience to help with the layout and publishing of the paper.

Shopkeeper Applications
We have decided to begin accepting applications on an ongoing basis rather than just when a position is open. Click here for more information and to apply.
Assistant Webmaster
We are interested in adding at least one and possibly more than one webmaster assistant. Individuals ranked Librarian or higher with html experience should send applications and inquiries to the webmaster.
