December 18: THE TWO TOWERS HAD FINALLY COME OUT!!! Heres a short little article on Elijah Wood (Frodo, for all you who STILL dont know: Elijah Wood Not a Fan of Teen Flicks (Katrillion) -- Don't expect Elijah Wood to be jumping at the chance to star in the next Freddie Prinze Jr. flick. The 20-year-old "Lord of the Rings" star laughs when people ask him for his thoughts on teen movies. "Well, they're rubbish," Elijah dished to Katrillion. "(Teen movies) are just fluff, man. There isn't anything particularly special about them." Although he has been in showbiz since he was 8, Wood has managed to escape the overload of teen films that has been populating theaters for the past few years. But that wasn't by chance. "It's just stuff I have never wanted to be a part of," the actor explained. "I don't really like how they portray teenagers. I think it is cliche after cliche after cliche." However, Elijah noted that not all teen flicks have been a waste of his time. "There are a few that stand out. I really like 'Scream,'" he said. And he doesn't want to come off as sounding pompous or arrogant either. "It just isn't my taste. I love what I love and I hate what I hate," he added.
