Colin was born on May 3, 1976 in Dublin, Ireland. His first big movie was in Tigerland. He won a best actor award from the Boston Society of Film Critics for his role as "Bozz" in that movie. He also starred alongside Kevin Spacey in Ordinary Decent Criminal. Kevin Spacey suggested him for the role after watching him in a play called "In a Little World of Our Own" in London. Colin studied acting at Gaiety School of Drama in Dublin. After his performance in Tigerland, Colin took on the role of Jesse James in American Outlaws. He then began shooting the main role in Phone Both. He also co-starred with Bruce Willis in Hart's War. He was also known for his work in Minority Report, which starred Tom Cruise. All this fame and fortune began for this talented actor at the age of 25.
