This here is the first image I made
using 3ds Max. As you may have guessed it is a orange. Despite the fact
I know nearly nothing about the progarm I made that nice orange with I
will say some basic things about it. The orange's texture is simply a 2d
image I pasted on to the mesh that is the outside of the orange. Then I
simply told the program to apply a bump mutiplier of 50 rather then 0 (it
sounds simple but is not).
This is my most recent image
(in case you can't tell it is the moon rising over the planet Mars) soon
I will animate it. It was probably easier then any picture I have made
so far. All I needed was two spheres (which I mapped and added a -50 bump)
then I made a nice spotlight to simulate the effect of the sun on the planets.
I would add my most current work a video (using dummy animation for the X and Z axis) but this html format looks to be too annoying to do so.
