- 1989 DNR treated the lake to kill the roughfish population
- 1992 DNR reopened the lake to fishing
- Vegetation: weed growth is down to 15' - weed varieties; Coontail,Eldora and several varieties of Pondweeds
- A fish barrier was constructed at Turtle Creek Outlet to prevent Carp from re-entering the lake
