Lot 21--. Diana never wore in public.
Edelstein  designed this royal blue  mini cocktail dress. The wide collar is padded  as is the hem, and the front closure is recangular buttons.

Lot 22-- Diana purchased this gown in Knightsbridge in 1985. Designed by Jacques Azagury, She first wore it Florence in April,1985 then again in  in Toronto in 1986 . It sold for $26,450 LOT 22.People magazine, which has put Diana on the cover 44 times in 15 years, purchased the  ballerina-length dance dress and planned  to display it,  in the magazine's offices

Lot 23--Tulle ballgown adorned with sequins in pale blue with pink sash and bodice bow. Designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel. Diana wore this often in 1983. Once in Australia  with the spencer tiara. Then again in Wellington New Zealand. In 1985 Diana wore this to Cardiff. Sold for $ 27,600

Lot 24--Diana wore this Ivory Satin 30's style gown to a Buckingham palace 1990  banquet. It is a Bruce Oldfield design. Also in 1990, Diana wore it for an evening at the Courtauld Institute. Its reminiscent of a 30's cocktail dress. Sold for $29,900.

Lot 25-- Diana wore this rarely seen gown to the French Embassy in London, 1988. Thanks to Jaqueline Pittman Brisbane for suppling the photo.
Gorgeous burgundy velvet Catherine Walker design. Its gathered at bodice and waist. Similar in many ways to the Stamboli mini black dress. Sold for $39,100.
 

Lot 26--A silk and organza ballgown. Diana wore this corset-topped dress to a Red Cross Ball in 1986 and then again, for a Bond premiere in 1987. It was designed by the Emmanuels who first came on the scene when they created her wedding gown in 1981.  Diana wore this chiffon gown again in 1986 at a London banquet. In 1989 she wore it to a ball held by the British Paraplegic Sports Society. At times, Diana wore the dress with its cap sleeves. but above, she goes  for the strapless look . Sold for $25,300.

It is owned by Fontaine Minor who  recently, has lent it to Kensington Palace for their Diana dresses display there.

Lot 27--$51,750 was bid for another Catherine Walker design. A cream colored  bead/chiffon gown.It was purchadsed by a museum in Rio De janiero .Diana wore it several times including a party for King Constantine of Greece in 1990.

Lot 28---Murray Arbeid designed this dress for Diana.and she wore it at the Phanom Of The Opera London Premiere. Once she wore it with red gloves--In 1987 she wore it without the red gloves to the Covent garden Royal Opera House.Lord Snowdon photographed the Princess in this dress for the auction catalog session.  Sold for $48,300 t o Pat Kerr Tigrett, a top bridal designer in Memphis.

Lot 29--Victor Edelstein design. A blue-black silk-crepe dress which Diana wore in 1993 for a evening at the Serpentine gallery in London. The back meets in criss-cross straps. On one occasion, above, she wore a jacket over it. Sold for $70,700
 

Lot 30--Described as fuschia but looking more red on pictures, this Victor Edelstien design raised $36,800 a the auction. Diana wore it on 8 public occasions including  at the premiere of JUST LIKE A WOMAN in 1992 and to a HELP THE HOSPICE banquet in 1990. In 1989 it was first spotted on a visit to Japan
Also, in 1990 she wore it to a charity dinner in the United States.Sometimes she wore a broach at the v of the bodice.
I saw this dress in person and was stunned at how narrow it was--Diana was far slimmer than I imagined.  It was won by the President of Go Collect.com and they displayed it at their booth in their 2000 Rosemont Collectible show.
