Hey All! This is Leah Heher's webpage for the AWESOME trip I took with the People to People Student Ambassador Program to England, Ireland and Wales. My delegation was made up of people from California and Wisconsin. We spent 3 whole weeks on the Celtic Discovery program and had a blast. We did many cool things, like repeling down a castle wall in Wales, a ride on the London Eye in (duh) London, England, and a horse-drawn buggy ride through the Gap of Dunloe in Ireland! We also learned alot about English, Irish and Welsh culture and about many important historic events and places. We went to Clanmacnoise in Ireland, the Tower of London in (again, duh) London, England, and we went to many MANY castles and cathedrals such as Windsor Castle, St. Pauls Cathedral, St. Patricks Cathedral, Blarney Castle (yes, we all kissed the stone), and Cardiff Castle to name a few. We also sang Happy Birthday to Prince William our first day on the trip. We got on tv and everything! We had a blast and I hope you like my site and feel like you also went on the trip. Have Fun!
