Chapter 15

"So wait-You and Nick aren't really dating?" Brian questioned.

"No we are-now-at first I couldn't stand him. But now..." Faith replied. Brian smirked.

"You love him" Brian finished for her. faith shrugged.

"Well-Brian Love doesn't work unless the other person loves you back" Faith muttered. Brian smirked.

"Give him Time-Nick's really bad at the whole relationship thing. can I ask you something?" he asked.

"Shoot" Faith replied.

"How exactly did you get the the hotel? I mean, you gotta know" Brian asked. Faith smirked.

"I think I do" Faith replied, leaving the room. Brain sighed.

"That didn't answer my question" Brian called after her. She walked into the living room where Amanda and Leighanne were sitting. She walked past them to Nick's CD tower. She grabbed his "Men at work" and "Journey's Greatest Hits" CD's and walked outside. Amanda and Leighanne watched her leave.

"I truly don't think she'd do that to Nick" Leighanne commented.

"I know what you mean" Amanda replied with a half smile.

"But if AJ didn't seduce her and she didn't seduce him-who set it up?" Leighanne asked. Amanda and Leighanne both looked towards the guest room.

"I think I know" Amanda replied.

*"When I lights go down in the city...and the sun shines on the bay-do I wanna be there...In my city...oh whoa ohhh ooo oh" Faith sang with Journey. She was laying on the beach, away from the house. She could be at MTV or something singing. Not here, not having her precious time being wasted and her heart being pulled apart. Faith sighed.

"I'm gonna leave and never think about him again" Faith decided outloud.

"So Nick, your not mad anymore right?" AJ asked as he carried bags on McDonald's food to Nick's door.

"I never said that" Nick replied. AJ smirked.

"C'mon carter-I can see that you love her. I know that she wouldn't do anything to hurt you-C'mon-Anyway I've been thinking about it and this whole hotel thing reaks of Mandy-I think she had something to do with this, maybe trying to break you and Faith up" AJ explained. Nick laughed.

"Mandy? Ha-She could never plan something like this" Nick replied. AJ laughed.

"Good Point-She's a couple crayon's short of a box" AJ joked. Nick opened the door. He heard Journey playing in the backyard.

"Where's Faith?" He questioned. Leighanne pointed in the direction of the music. Nick started towards the slidding doors that led to his backyard when Brian stopped him.

"Can we talk?" Brian asked.

"I wanna apoligize to..." Nick started.

"Now" Brian cut him off. Nick nodded and followed him to the Kitchen.

"Faith explained to me about how you guys got together" Brian exclaimed.

"We met awhile ago-what's the big deal?" Nick asked. He gave Brian a big smile, He just realized how much Faith really meant to him.

"More like, You paid her to be your fiancee" Brian commented. Nick lost his grin.

"She told you that?" Nick questioned.

"Yes she did. I mean, we were all guessing it anyway-You get a hot woman like Faith, not a chance" Brian joked. Nick didn't laugh.

"I can't beleive this" Nick muttered. Brian sighed.

"Nick I..." Brian exclaimed. Nick waved him off and left the kitchen. He pulled the slidding door open and ran towards Faith. Faith was listening to Men at Work when Nick got to her. He bent down and grabbed her arm, pulling her to her feet.

"OW...Nick your hurting me" Faith whined. Nick let go and stared at her. "I didn't sleep with AJ"

"How could you tell Brian that?" Nick yelled. Faith looked at him, confused. She suddenly understood what he was talking about.

"He won't say anything" Faith argued.

"You know what Faith-This day just gets better and better" Nick grumbled. He turned away from her. "It doesn't matter if Brian says anything anyway"

"Why's that?" Faith asked.

"Because your going to be gone by tonight. Your not my girlfriend now and you never were-I want all your crap out of here by tonight" Nick yelled. Faith didn't react like he thought she would. She walked towards him and put her face close to his.

"Gladly" Faith spat. She walked around him back towards the house. When she opened the door, everyone was looking at her.

"Did you guys make up?" AJ questioned. Faith laughed.

"I never wanna fucking see that asshole again" Faith exclaimed. AJ sighed.

"Guess that's a no" AJ joked. Leighanne rolled her eyes.
