Nairobi- a land of lush vegetation, majestic wildlife, and a gigantic dirt hole. It is here where Strangling the Rodeo Clown stages the most intense music event know to civilized man. A five week long mad showdown between music and nature, the one and only:SLOTHAPALOOZA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Staged in a giant dirt hole in middle Nairobi, Slothapalooza is a celebration of life, of family, of ritual sacrifice. While the imfamous pygmy elephant Sloth reunites with his long-estranged family, STRC will rock until your ears bleed. Each of their ten hour sets is followed by the ritual sacrifice of some lucky contestant, as determined by The Oracle. Opening for the first set are The New City Rappaport Witches, a groovy jazzmetal combo from beautiful downtown hudson. The second set is kicked off by The Funkadelic Veggie Burritos, who bust out mad whack midget madness with zealous glee. Other opening acts are yet to be announced, and will most likely be sacrificed.
Tickets for possibly annual event (as soon as we bribe the proper officials) are a super cheap price (determined by how much it takes to bribe said officials) and are available from an as-yet-undetermined source(also determined by who we are able to bribe.)
