The tab used to splice them together

The sides boards are joined using a small tab of the same material. This is done because we cannot edge glue the plywood together. I attached the tab to one of the sides with epoxy glue after it had dried I attached the other board to it.

The completed side

In this picture I am getting ready to attach the final board to the side assembly. Notice the support under the joint.

Letting the epoxy glue cure

When working with epoxy glue, do not to apply a lot of pressure to the glue joint while it is drying. Too much pressure will squeze all of the glue out. I used a board and some bricks to keep the joint together while it dried.
