The Milwaukee area is steeped in wrestling tradition. At one time, Verne Gagne's AWA was the talk of the town. The Mecca Auditorium would sell out in one week's time. Grappling greats like THE CRUSHER, MAD DOG VACHON, BILLY ROBINSON, SHEIK ADNAN AL-KAISSEY, NICK BOCKWINKEL, JIM BRUNZELL and BARON VON RASCHKE, were household names. MID AMERICAN WRESTLING has honored each and every one of them, 'live and in-person'. Many other stars have appeared with on our events including BAM BAM BIGELOW, BARRY HOROWITZ, NICOLAI VOLKOFF, GREG VALENTINE, ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER, COLONEL DEBEERS, CAPTAIN LOU ALBANO, SHERRI MARTEL, and even THE FABULOUS MOOLAH!
